Spirit shrugs, tilting their head.
'As far as I'm concerned, things would taste the same to other people as it would to me, but, then again, I wouldn't really know. This isn't something I've ever really dwelled on, before.'
S/he blinks, and glances up.
'Um...I don't really consume that many processed foods...it kind of messes with my system. Even though I convert everything I feed on to soil, I have trouble...I think I can call it 'digesting' the food, I guess. It makes me feel a bit odd, so I try to stick to natural foods, and not have too many manufactured snacks. But...I think sunlight in certain conditions has a bit of a cotton-candy taste to it, I guess...my favorite light would have to be what's emitted by Light. I know, that seems obvious...'
Light shrugs, smiling.
"I am the purest source, being the Aspect in control of it."
Spirit nods.
'I enjoy the way it tastes, and it's the best for photosynthesis. I can produce my own sustenance that way, but it's not as nutritionally-rewarding as draining things. My parasitic nature runs deep, I guess...'
S/he blinks, and immediately drops into a small panic, shaking their head anxiously.
'Oh, no, I just said I had no problem with it, so it's okay, really! In fact, I actually ended up enjoying some of my hunts with the animals back home! I've hunted with wolves as a member of the pack before, and it was exhilarating...I'm just a bit sensitive with how much I enjoy it when I'm with them, I guess...the other wolves get that I'm like that, and they don't pressure me or anything. I let them be wolves, I join them sometimes, and they let me into their pack...I think my point is that you don't need to stop if you really don't want to...you don't need to on my behalf...hunting something with you would actually be a unique experience...though I'd prefer our prey to be something smaller or perhaps less intelligent...actually, maybe we could hunt an Evil animal or monster, sometime...I wouldn't have any problems with hunting something that would just attack for no reason anyway.'
The Guardian tilts his head.
"Well, clevernessss isss difficult to judge precccisssely, but I can sssafely sssay that you are passssionate about what you have ssstudied, and that it helped you through what you had sssuffered. If anything isss looked over for long enough, and you gain a good underssstanding of it, then that provesss you are clever. I may not actively follow the topic of law, but I am interesssted enough to lisssten."
He looks thankful, nodding.
"That isss kind of you to sssay. I am very proud of what I have sssaid and done here. Any quotesss that helped you feel more comfortable are onesss that I give my honessst approval of. I do enjoy making conversssation, but I am usually not ssso able to find sssomeone to talk to, when I am awake."
He smiles warmly, looking touched.
"You are mossst welcome...and you have my thanksss for looking after Ssspirit.'
Fury shrugs, grinning sincerely.
"Aw, don't worry about me! There's no more trouble here. I'm already over it. I may be unpredictable, but I can take a joke...eventually."
He nods, smiling.
"Not a problem, Kai. Not. A. Problem."
Spirit nods.
'Alright, I think I understand...so you're some sort of multi-universal army? You fight threats to Reality, right?'
S/he does some looking around, and spots Neo standing with Shadow, polishing the perk emblems. S/he points, and looks back to Wilson.
'He's over there, with Shadow. He's not too busy, so he could take a look if you ask him.'
Spirit nods cheerfully, barely containing their excitement.
'Good choice! It was enjoyable for everyone last time, wasn't it? And now Fury's going to ride with us!'
Fury nods, winking.
"If anything's goin' to prove I can take some criticism, this'd be it. Forget the wind! I'm goin' on with it!"
Neo tilts his head.
"And I must say, I found it to be a good experience.'
The Guardian smiles, being stationed nearby.
"Well, if I am again to be carrying passssengersss, I had bessst prepare..."
He quickly tunnels into the ground, and moves into position. Neo climbs atop the snake, and Fury hops up, landing without effort. He tilts his head.
"This should be fun!"
Spirit climbs up last, and helps Kai take her spot, nodding.
'Alright. I can do that for you.'
The Guardian moves back a bit, and then lunges forward and upward, launching from the burrow and into the air. He unfolds his sails, taking to the skies. Fury clearly enjoys the takeoff, grinning widely beneath his coat collar.
"Woooohoooooo! Now this is a ride!"
Once the Guardian has stabilized into a glide, Spirit looks down to Kai, and nods, laying a hand on her paw.
'Yes, it's alright to get up now. We're higher up, like you wanted.'
S/he reprises their action from the previous flight, sitting beside Kai and enjoying the wind in their leaves. S/he closes their eyes, and gives a blissful sigh, though opens their eyes again after a while to continue admiring the sights, and catches Kai gazing at her foreleg. S/he tilts their head, though doesn't bring it up. Eventually, as the Guardian settles into a descent toward the new area, Spirit nods.
'Okay...in my opinion, I like the landings, but I respect your outlook.'
The Guardian descends into a gentle spiral, coming to a rest like a fallen leaf. Spirit climbs down, and helps Kai disembark from the serpent's back, a cheerful look in their eyes.
'I told you this was a good experience...the Guardian gives the best sky rides.'
The Guardian smiles warmly, nodding to Kai.
"It wasss my pleasssure, Lady Kai."
Neo climbs down tilting his head.
"This was just as intriguing as the previous ride."
Fury then leaps off the Guardian's back, twisting through the air, and sticks a Three-Point Landing, head bowed and eyes closed. He lifts his head, and opens his eyes, grinning enthusiastically.
"That was great!
He produces a small pocket mirror from his coat, and looks himself over. He blinks, noticing the wind had blown his quills sweeping them diagonally back, almost horizontal. He pauses, then eventually shrugs, smirking lightheartedly.
"...meh, I needed a style change, anyway. I think messy just might be in."
He grins, looking to Kai.
"That's the spirit! If I can pull off the unkempt look, you can too! We can take on this style together!"
Spirit gives an affectionate look to Kai, nodding.
'He's right...that's very confident of you. I'm proud.'
Shadow chuckles at Kai's contributions to the insulting, straightening his hat.
"Nice. That one's a classic."
He glares as .Exe assumes Kai's form, gritting his teeth.
"Too. Far. Insulting me, I have no problem with, but you do not bring Spirit or Kai into this!"
Spirit quietly seethes at the fiend's mocking, taking long, deep breaths, and maintaining their Death Glare, focused on the Demonic hedgehog. S/he initially doesn't seem to notice Kai's reassurance, though casts a brief glance in her direction, which is able to be made out because of their glowing pupils. As Kai snaps at .Exe, s/he takes a step toward him, and rattles their leaves in a threat display, creating an ominous hiss. S/he growls in frustration when .Exe vanishes, and screws their eyes shut, dropping their head into their hands. Sensing Kai's back at their side, s/he lifts their head, and opens their eyes, the black, corrupted haze and glowing green points of light gradually fading from sight. S/he looks down to Kai, and drops into a kneel, giving her a sympathetic, almost apologetic look.
'I guess we both hated what .Exe did...I think I lost myself in my anger, and I'm sorry for that...but...'
S/he hugs Kai, looking a bit vulnerable.
'...I swear, I won't let him hurt you. He's not going to be able to separate us. And...'
S/he looks into Kai's eyes, looking a bit happier.
'...you're right...you are fluffier. Thank you for trying to calm me down.'
@Talist: Understood. That, however, only strengthens my curiosity.
@Piono: I'm certainly hoping Spirit and Kai remain together through this, since I've already made a few allusions to their relationship in a secret subplot I'm doing in the Arena, to be revealed later. Spirit's been very vague, though, so the character who asked only knows Spirit fell in love with someone during a war, s/he saved their life, they returned the favor by helping Spirit through some trying times, they gave Spirit a pet name, and that they eventually had to part ways after the war was won, but promised they would eventually be reunited. S/he's not confident enough to reveal anything more, yet, and the only reason s/he got this far was because the other person's characters in the subplot were in a relationship which sparked Spirit's memories of Kai.
@Talist: This thing with Cynder and Wilson keeps deepening...intriguing...

And, thanks, guys! Dinner was great, so was the dessert! My sister made chocolate-orange cupcakes! The museum was fun, and my Dad and I watched Jurassic World. I wore this
shirt, which I got on Christmas, and saved for that day, not wearing it once, through the the day. My sister also played a few songs for me on the flute.

Infinity replicates his Discs to deal 9000 damage to Zeus. The D 4 C punches Superman very hard, dealing 5000 damage.
Fira heals Hunter for 3000. Hunter repairs his gun, but will need to take another turn to repair because of Lock and Load.
John Egbert tries to establish that he's the dominant sky god. Zeus doesn't respond well to that, and whacks John as he attacks Zeus. 3000 damage to Zeus and a wound to John. Then, an Engietech rifle round finds the hit on Zeus, dealing 45000 damage to Zeus. Engie, you said...
Kathryn uses Destiny Bond on Arceus, and then wounds herself. A rather grim way to do her damage, but hey, it's effective. 7000 damage.
Walrus and his Girls chill back. Walrus heals his wounds in the meantime.
Flashback RP. Shadow uses his Punch Gun and deals 5500 damage to Zeus, gaining an Alchemy token in the process. Galvix becomes a lighting rod, and somehow manages to get Zeus to attack him. Galvix deals 2000 damage to the other gods, but takes a wound for insulting Zeus. Neodyme tries to bind Zeus, but fails. Arkus tries to reach Arceus's mind, but is instantly repelled from accessing Arceus's mind, failing to do anything. Light uses the Healing Station and heals the Providence for 6000. Sacred Spirit attempts to bind Superman, but Superman uses a fraction of his Heat Vision, burning the seed but expending 100 Solar Power.
Jindra unloads Kryptonite bullets, dealing 2000 damage but managing to drain 50 Solar Power.
Talist mindgames Superman with a normal cardboard. Superman destroys it, but the cardboard's remains then gain sentience from Schrodinger's Kryptonite and attacks Superman for 5000.
Aarik snipes Zeus for 12100 damage. Gamma does a boring speech that bores the god for 1000 damage each. Beta attacks Zeus by somehwo launching him into the air, and deals 5000 damage. Alpha pulls a surprise RKO punch and does 3000 damage.
Providence unleashes a Shockwave, dealing 5000 damage to each god. The Greens attacks Zeus, dealing 3000 damage and failing the stun as expected. Solar does a regular everyday uppercut to Zeus. 3000 damage.
H 2 O hangs back and heals his summons for 3000 each.
Lexicus enters and attacks Zeus with combustible lemons. 3500 crit damage! Some person may have their copyrights infringed...
GWing informs Lexicus that combustible lemons are his technique, and then shoots an arrow of light at Arceus, dealing 3000 damage.

Over in 0rigins, and most other DTG games, our main method of attack ends up being strange and creative attacks such as that, although that was incredibly meh compared to most things in 0rigins. Well, we seem to be making some progress. Zeus is down to half health already. Let's continue, shall we?
I replicate the effect of a single sip of my beer by using 10 charges of the Consumable Stacker emblem. D4C does a backflip, and after landing, leaps into the air, performing a flying axe kick on a random PG, and after the hit connects, he backflips again, and poses dramatically after he lands.
Tera-Graviton: 27/120 (+1 from Piono, Consumer, and Talist, +2 from emblem) HINT: Final Fantasy X. High damage, single target, with a little splash damage on the side
