And then, my English teacher came and told us to write down interesting things m that happened throughout the year or our impressionof the year. Everyone (well, most of them) wrote lazy things like "Our class is funny and we're all really funny" and "I managed to get new friends that are interesting". I, on the other hand, wrote "I managed to confess my love for the first time". As the teacher read through the papers, which was anonymous, I was just sitting there, shaking, thinking to myself " Why the F did I write that crap?", all while I was placed right next to Fraissa by some cosmic coincidence. So yeah. Awkward story.

John whips up a sandstorm that does nothing of actual value, except for randomizing the God's attacks, which is already random. Piono's crew fire into the sandstorm, hitting Arceus for 3000 because he's the largest target.
The Greens activates Phytokinesis, targeting Arceus and dealing 7500 damage to him. The Providence activates God's Eye, which has reduced effect against gods for some inexplicable reason. 10000 damage to each god. Solar kicks Zeus in the balls, which does nothing as groin-kicking is illegal in DtG. The Umbra deals 15000 blocked damage because it's not kicking.
Infinity attacks Zeus with his Lightning Spear, which somehow hits the God of Lightning (well, God of Skies too, but that's irrelevant) for 9000 damage. The Lightning Spear finally breaks. (Fixing it.)
(Sacred and CJB: Well, that sucked.)
GWing attacks Arceus with light, thinking that it would do Fairy-damage, which Arceus shoul—Nope. Arceus changed into a Steel Type. 7500 crit-damage! (Whoops. Missed that.)
Talist threw the Pantheon Bot, which is a program, btw, at Zeus. 3600 damage!
Jindra sets up a lightning rod.
(Yes, it's a test. It's mostly just overhyped, imo.) Speed, unlike Jindra, turns himself into the lightning rod. Hey, just in case physics works wonkily, right? Hunter unleashes his full round and does 42000 damage to Zeus due to accuracy. Hunter must reload twice.
Alpha and his crew attacks Zeus. At his groin. Dealing 40000 karmacrit-damage.
—
End of turn:
Superman goes first due to Super Speed. Superman punches Hunter, dealing 40000 damage to him, and loses 100 Solar Power. He then regains 50 Solar Power.
Arceus uses Earth Power, wiping out the Girls.
Zeus uses a basic attack against the Umbra, killing it.
May I add my own twist to this stage? Entities now does less damage against gods. The Emblem now has a neutral HP bar.
Oh god. Well, I've contacted the Pantheon, some of them should arrive in 7 turns.
The usual stuff happens.

So, entities do less damage against gods now... Probably means I should do something else with my charges, then. Like attacks. Those should be good.
I decide to use 20 charges of my Consumable Stacker Emblem to replicate the effect of a Whitesnake disc. My target is Zeus.
D4C smacks someone hard. Like, really hard. Almost as hard as I punched that Mecha Spider a few pages ago. That hard. But without the "scorch marks are left behind" part, because his target most certainly won't die from it.
Tera-Graviton: 21/120 HINT: Final Fantasy X
Triplecast: Ultima: 20/120 (+1 from Talist, and Piono, +2 from emblem) HINT: Final Fantasy, but not Final Fantasy X
+1 to Talist, Consumer, and Piono. Sorry for forgetting to give you points last turn.

Good luck for it anyway.
Hunter stares right into his empty, smoking barrel. He then looks back up at Zeus.
Damn! That was strong!
Hunter takes of the Auto attachment, and looks at the Reciever.
Shoot. Should have seen that coming, but the Reciever, barrel and magazine are all fried. Good thing I had spares.
Hunter takes out his empty magazine, takes off the barrel and Reciever, and replaces those two items.
Hunter then notices Supes charging at him.
Well, if it's not the Man of Steel himself! Fortunately for me, I know all your weaknesses!
Sadly, they've been removed for the sake of game balance.
And my friends here are all perfectly capable of exploiting them!
Hunter! Don't taunt the alien!
Uhh... Right.
Anywho...
Speed telekineticaly picks up all the shattered pieces of the moon and restores it to it's former glory.
We have Partheon reinforcements coming. I'm sincerely hoping my aunts are not of that number, but if they are, one was gonna be really pissed of the moon was broken.
Please. Be less subtle. You may as well say her name out loud.
Please. You think I'm gonna say L- I caught myself, don't want you having a breakdown.
Fira lifts up her arm, and flames cast Hunter's wounds away.
This backwards healing technique should keep you together for a bit. You're tempting fate, you know, Hunter? I don't particularly want to be the one trying to hold you down if Speed's aunts show up.
I really don't want them to. They could, though, and that somewhat scares me.

Ex's form begins to look shakey. Because he is leaving. He tells me it's intentional. But before that, he transforms thrice. Each transformation is... Off... In a way. Not visibly, but you can just feel it.
First to Alpha. Second to Shadow. Third...
No, Ex. No. That's too far.
Sacred... You might want to cover your eyes.
To Kai.

@Gwing: I had a weird dream about SBURB during the giga pause, like, months after I'd stopped obsessing over it. It might not help you, although evening out your stuff so that you don't obsess so much as 'interest' would probably be a good idea.
@tabbune: I dunno, I'm pretty impressed with your story there, and I'll bet you probably impressed her too. Funny thing about 'confessing your undying love' is? Awkward and embarrassing as it may feel at the time, not a lot of people do it in a way that pushes away people that are good for them. She probably thinks better of you for that event, it takes real courage to confess to someone like that, who knows, might even land you some dates with her in time. Did for me.

Eric and co watch as Ex starts messing with Speed and co. Lovely. Sanford, keep an eye on that over there. Call for help if you need it. Sanford nods. ((Speed, do I have permission to join in on your inter-character brawl if Ex shows up? That looks like it would be fun, and also big enough that it would attract the attention of my characters))
John establishes his stance as dominant sky god by punching Zeus in the snout. With his hammer. It explodes. haaaaaaaank. Hank shrugs, then loads a special bullet into his gun. As Zeus comes back around to retaliate against John smashing the explosives-laden warhammer into Zeus' skull, he is suddenly sent flying backwards by the explosives-laden high-power highly illegal Engietech sniper round that embeds itself in his spleen.
30/30 expended: Engietech!
Some backstory here (and yes, this most certainly is applying itself for the damage boost, although this one parentheses itself is stopping so I can ask the following question of tabbune: there isn't a cap on how much damage we can milk from the emblem, right?) on Engietech. Engie is one of the most feared universe eaters in existence, the most, in fact, especially since he's also a Descendant, and he runs the single most powerful weapons company in existence, or, he did, before he went missing.
Engietech is well known for their variety of weapons, anywhere from small handguns that are nigh-indestructible, to pulse rifles that can punch through a blargian snagglebeast to elemental handcannons that can obliterate small universes when set onto a power level that is too high. Fortunately, the round that Hank is using isn't up in the higher realms of fire power, those are expensive, and even the sneakiest of heroes wouldn't be able to sneak something like that into their budget without getting caught. If you haven't guessed, said weapon was in the IUPC arsenal, and then Hank's ammo clip, and now it's in Zeus's chest.
Hmm. That's odd, I would have thought the nanobots would've, oh, yes, there they are. The nanobots finally break loose from the casing, which, due to a slight fault in manufacture, hadn't broken open upon impact like it was supposed to, forcing me to resort to going on a small monologue about the shell's origins to give the nanobots time to escape their casing to wreak havoc on their target. The nanobots escape in a swarm, pulses of ice and fire alternating outwards in blasts that destabilize the component molecules of Zeus, as the nanobots themselves rip into him, tearing him apart piece by piece.
And then the cloud starts to expand, a la grey goo. The fire and ice spread out, shattering matter and expanding, tearing pieces of the god off and using the regeneration to create exponential growth as the nanobots begin to make a growing cloud that tears into the side of the- Hank presses the self destruct button and the entire swarm of nanobots detonate in a pulse of fire, scorching the inside of the smallish hollow sphere they consumed as the cloud was growing outwards. Fortunately, no one other than Zeus was hurt, and he's a Great God. He's definitely worse for wear though.
Hank! I thought I told you to ditch that thing!
Figured we'd need it at some point, and I was right.

DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?[RP AND ATTACKS]
Kathryn appears to have been texting people over the last turn. Again.
" If I happen to say, aim an attack purposefully to go right past you, would you get angry at that? Of course. I just did that in self-defence." Kathryn says to Speedon, before noticing Superman, Arceus and Zeus. Three characters holding massive power. She wouldn't mind having all of them on her side, but unfortunately, common sense tells her that she can't get any of them. Doesn't mean she won't try. She throws a pokeball at Arceus, who is ready to facepalm itself. It's immune to being caught by trainers. It does so, with the addition of mental influence from Kathryn, so hard that it launches itself back, and smashes into a wall. Kathryn also facepalms herself, hard enough to take a Wounded Level, and then uses Destiny Bond, in Pokemon terms. It's more like transferring all of the damage she takes to Arceus, whose face is also wounded.

Spirit tilts their head.
'Elegant? That's a new one...I don't think anyone has ever said that about this particular subject before...mostly the only time me and the word 'elegant' are in the same discussion is when the Sylvans have me dress up for meetings...'
S/he blinks as some of the dust is blown into their face, and apparently sneezes as well. S/he rubs their eyes, and tilts their head.
'Oh, that's alright...I would imagine this dry ground and the moist soil I made would take some time to mix...on the bright side, at least your sneeze helped scatter it.'
S/he shrugs.
'I think Shadow, Fury, and Arkus get extra energy if they eat something. Fury prefers meat, Arkus has pretty refined tastes, and Shadow likes exotic things, but is up for pretty much anything. They can go without food, but they like to eat, and it boosts their power.'
S/he shakes their head.
'Actually, I can taste things just fine! Even I don't know exactly how my body works, which is ironic, but I think it has something to do with the cells in my skin. I think it's kind of like how butterflies and other insects can taste with their feet. And when I take root, which I try not to do unless there isn't any available food around, because I'm stuck in one place until I'm done feeding, I can taste things in the soil, and even the sunlight has a taste. It's...sweet, with a light airy note. Moonlight tastes a lot different, but still good.'
S/he looks away a bit, nervously toying with a twig that they had grown from the ground.
'...well...it's pretty much like what I said earlier...I usually feed on fallen fruit, or other smaller plants, but I have a sort of predatory instinct that drives me to feed on more...lively things. I think I may actually have a bit of carnivorous plant in me, somewhere...when I do let myself hunt, it's usually in animal form, and I try to hunt the smallest prey possible, but sometimes, when I'm in my true form, like I am now, and often when I'm sick or hurt, I get really hungry, and simply feeding on fruit isn't very nourishing, and doesn't restore enough energy. Then, I find something that I can feed on that is...well...still alive...but I limit myself to insects, plants, and smaller creatures, like fish. I draw more nourishment from something that is alive, or has just died, instead of being dead for longer, but it still feels so...uncomfortable...to take a life, even if it is just from a bug or a fish...'
S/he shakes their head, starting to smoothe down their leaves.
'Now...I don't have anything against hunting for food, and for things needed to survive...I get that animals need to eat, so I let the carnivores of the Wilds be carnivores...sometimes I even hunt alongside them...but I'm so in tune with Nature that I find every kind of animal to be close to me in some way...in the Glade, if a group can agree that they will only take as much as they need to survive and thrive, I let them hunt. They all know that I will be greatly disappointed in them if they poach more than they need. But, like I said...I don't have anything against animals hunting, so, if you like to hunt, as long as you do it for food, I don't mind.'
Spirit blinks, tilting their head. They look a bit embarrassed.
'Um...I'm sorry if I took your words a bit over what you meant...I'm kind of excited right now...'
S/he nods.
'Okay...I think it's good of you...sorry if this was a bit weird...'
The Guardian smiles.
"Well, I may not be too well-versssed on government ssspeech, but I can underssstand enough of what you were sssaying. I mussst say, you are one clever wolf. I can sssee why Ssspirit loves being with you..."
His long, forked tongue flits from his mouth, tasting the air. He tilts his head.
"Well, I can sssay that you have nothing to fear from yoursss truly. I am large, yesss, but I am a pleasssant sssnake. I do not have a sssinissster bone in my body."
He blinks, and chuckles, smiling warmly.
"Oh, no, Lady Kai! I am not one to be jealousss. I have ssseen Ssspirit much happier than they have ever been before in your company. I sssmile upon your relationship. You have my blesssssing, fair maiden."
Spirit nods, looking supportive.
'Okay...I'm happy that you're mostly fine with it...if I ever end up doing something that you think is funny, I give you permission to laugh. That's the least I can do.'
S/he tilts their head.
'Well...I can see why you'd say that...our banter can be pretty intense, sometimes, but we always make up by the end of it. We're not only siblings, but we're pieces of the same mind. We need to stay together.'
Fury blinks, and laughs nervously, smiling.
"Ey, it's alright, Kai. I'm fine, really. Siblings bicker sometimes. We still love each other, though. And you gotta' know, I'm full aware that I get offended too often. It's kinda' become a running joke, and I'm totally in on it. It's my temper that people look out for. My ego is pretty easily bruised, but I can jump back from it. You did nothin' wrong."
He pats Kai's head, grinning.
"You're a nice girl."
Spirit blinks, tilting their head.
'Well...memory loss can't be good...oh, unless, like you said, you would be hurt if you kept them. That's a good thing, then. I'm intrigued by this way you can see time, though...'
A flash of recognition forms in their eyes, and s/he nods.
'Oh...I think she told me...that's...I don't even know how to put how I feel about that into words...'
S/he glances back at Kai, blinking, then looks back to Cynder.
'...it's a positive feeling, and it's very strong, but...then there's the regret that I felt when she got hurt...I promised her I would keep trusting her, though, and I'm keeping my word. She did make me proud with how she looked and what she accomplished. She was a star...'
S/he blinks.
'Well...maybe you can talk to her, later? Maybe she can jog your memory. She's a good listener, and she has so many good ideas.'
S/he looks a bit disappointed, but nods.
'Bye...there's always a place at the Sanctuary. I'll be happy to see you there.'
Spirit blinks.
'IUPC? What's that? It sounds interesting...and they know about us?'
S/he nods.
'Good. He'll like to take a look at it. The older something is, the more Neo likes to tinker with it, seeing if he can fix it or make improvements. He once defeated a group of Dwarven constructs in Skyrim, and he managed to reconfigure them to serve as Dragon control for the Cities.'
S/he blinks.
'Concealing...information? Well...I don't usually like to pry...maybe she could give some information by herself...honesty is important. I think she said she might go to the Sanctuary when she came back. And I'm happy that I might've helped. I do my best.'
As of then, he was trying to keep the Vault Door closed. He's free now, and would likely be close by after the map change.
Spirit sighs, and looks back.
'You don't look very comfortable...I think I'll just have Arkus cast a ward. I can take those things you don't like off, if you want...'
S/he nods.
'I'll stay safe. I won't let you down.'
The Guardian looks to Alpha, frowning slightly.
"Well, how would your friendsss view a more intenssse Alpha? In my eyesss, a warrior is only asss good asss hissss honor. You are greatly honorable, and, whether you feel you need to exxxact more final righteousss retribution on more psssychopathsss and monssstersss or not, I will sssupport you. And you know what they sssay...'he who fightsss monstersss ssshould sssee to it that he himssself doesss not become a monssster...' I fully believe in your sssenssse of jusssticcce, and it isss all the fault of the Godmodder for not heeding your appealsss."
He smiles.
"I am alwaysss happy to dissspenssse sssome ancient wisssdom at any time..."
Shadow blinks, and shrugs.
"Okay, Tabbune. I won't do that."
He has everyone drop what they were picking up. Then they look around. Shadow looks to Tabbune and the Portlight Crew.
"I have to say, your names are pretty interesting."
Upon the time for the change, Shadow and the others board the Portlight, save for Spirit, Neo, and Fury. Spirit looks to Kai.
'Now...I think we're moving again. Do you want to ride on the Guardian's back again, or do you want to ride the Portlight?'
Neo tilts his head.
"I would ride with you if you choose that option."
Fury steps up, hands in his pockets. His mouth obscured by his collar, he raises an eyebrow, a confident look in his eye.
"Hey, so would I. No matter what it does to my style, I don't care."
Spirit looks to the Sanctuary.
'I suppose I should get the Sanctuary ready for transport again...'
S/he blinks.
'...wait, how is Cynder going to catch up?'
Upon noticing Soulgma's appearance, everyone whirls around to see him. Shadow scowls.
"Couldn't stay away, could you? I presume you're going to be driving in your body, and we'll see which Gundam you were modeled after, huh? I can't help but think you won't even be Humanoid. What was your codename, eh?"
The Guardian sneers.
"I ssswear by my reputation asss protector of Nature, I will tear your form asssunder!"
And then Speed.EXE arrives, and everyone spins to see him as well.
"Well, things are just getting worse..."
Shadow glares.
"Why are you even here? I think I know who you are, and I hate you already...I can't even comprehend why scum like you exists..."
He tightens his grip on his Construct-disposal equipment.
"I'm going to say this once. Leave. Now. Before you force my hand."
Shadow and the others stare down the three Gods. Shadow blinks, tilting his head.
"Zeus, eh? This is a problem...the King of the Gods as a pawn..."
He winces upon seeing the God of Thunder be struck in the sensitive bits.
"...yeah, that's gotta' hurt. Even if he's a God, that's not too comfortable. Er...good aim, I guess...and...unless he's already, well...you know how the stories go...but it calls to mind what his father did to his grandfather."
Spirit looks up at Arceus, looking intimidated.
'The Original One... They created their entire world! How are we supposed to stop them if they're compelled to destroy this one‽'
S/he looks down, and narrows their eyes, taking on a confident expression.
'No, we can do this...we can end the Godmodder's threat, and we can restore order to the Pantheon.'
Fury, meanwhile, stares at Superman in disbelief.
"Dang, they got Supes? I guess he's not that tough if he can be brainwashed like that...but I guess we need to get them off the mind-control, now..."
@Tabbune:: I really want to know what my Emblems do, so I can unload them in an awesome action with lots of detail, which feasibly only looks like something I can pull off on the weekend. Okay?
Actions:
Shadow:
The Aspect of Darkness channels his energy, and his weapons begin to glow with a violet light. He smirks darkly, looking to Zeus.
"It looks like we're both the highest-ranking Gods in our respective Pantheons...now we're against each other. Now...I think we're about to come to blows."
Shadow dashes forward, creating two mirage-duplicates of himself at his sides. The three enact a cup-game-like maneuver, constantly switching places, and, eventually, when Zeus is distracted, the real Shadow uses the Punch Gun to fire a slug at his chest, and, upon knocking him back, enacts a combo with the Robo Wrecker. This is followed by...
Galvix:
The Aspect of Electricity acts as a lightning rod, and absorbs Zeus' attacks aimed at Shadow, and then redirects those to the other two Gods. He channels his power, his form surging and crackling with the Greek God's divine powers.
"ComeOn! IsThatTheBestYouCanDo? I'mTenTimesTheElectricityGodYouAre!"
Neo:
The Aspect of Metal, Magnetism, Energy, and Technology launches a set of metal bars, trying to bind Zeus to the wall. He then launches darts coated with a tranquilizer at the bound God.
Arkus:
The Aspect of the Eldritch and Arcane begins focusing, his eyes glowing intensely. He readies his wand, and begins to speak in Latin.
"Sors immanis mundi fabricatorem voco animo. Ne nos quia veritatem et iustitiam quaerentes iudicium et rutrum velit. Dolores inferni circumdederunt bonum cesset manus tua in cordibus vestris. Et ligabunt te in lucem interiorem!"
"Oh, great maker of the world, I call to your spirit. Do not act against us, for we seek to uphold truth and justice, and wish to help you. I call upon the good in your heart to stay your hand. Let your inner light bind you!"
Arkus completes his incantation, and sends a beam of violet energy toward Arceus. Should it hit, it would attempt to reach Arceus' mind, and compel the Alpha Pokémon to avoid attacking anyone, or at least to reduce its damage.
Light:
The Aspect of Light activates the Healing Station, channeling some of his own Divine power into it, causing a dome of healing light to sweep over the AG's who need it most, especially the Guardian.
Spirit:
And Spirit enacts their own ability, focusing. S/he causes a seed to drop into the ground, which shakes. Eventually, an enormous ironwood tree erupts from the ground underneath Superman, rapidly attempting to engulf him.
Plus three to Talist.
@Everybody: Thanks for your sympathies. The last rat is doing well, and my sister is about to adopt two new ones, two near-identical ones who are likely sisters. They're Mink Dumbo Berkshires, so they're really soft gray ones with adorable ears. She's naming them Lavender and Lilac. They'll keep Nu, who's the remaining rat, a hairless albino standard-ear, company.

Plan D 59/60
I'm going to pull out a gattling gun loaded with kryponite bullets and unload on Superman, hopefully knocking out all of that solar power he has.
1x +1 to solar, piono
Just an action...
Spirit
Alpha
Infinity
I make a building out of cardboard and tell Superman I bet he couldn't destroy it like he claims. Of course, being Superman, he destroys my cardboard in about 0.004 seconds. But after that, he realizes that I must have made it out of kyptonite cardboard because why else would I think cardboard would stand a chance against him? ... Really, I didn't. It was just plain cardboard. But he still thinks that it was kyptonite cardboard, leading to a spiral of anxiety where he thinks he has kyptonite... poisoning (I guess that would be the right word), even though he doesn't. That's called a somatic illness and often ends up giving symptoms for a disease that someone thinks they have, even though they don't. Slowly... his own mind shall destroy him...
@Tabbune: Tabbs, you're not playing along!! Why didn't you have Zeus quote Vegeta!? It was supposed to be funny!! But in all seriousness, in regards to that, you have almost nothing on me. I, too, had a girl I liked back in high school. However, there was this guy that was always hanging around her. Since I'd never seen them kiss or anything, I naturally assumed that he was either her brother or a really good friend. So one day, I'd finally gathered enough courage to pull him aside and ask if she had a boyfriend. Turns out, he was her boyfriend. Most humiliating day of my life. I don't think that he actually spread that around (I really hope he didn't, anyways), but I always kicked myself for that. So yeah, your crush did tell you she had a boyfriend, but at least you didn't ask her boyfriend. So be glad for that.

Sigma tilts his head as the bullets are stopped, then realizes who did it as he sees him form.
Ah. You must be Ex. I've been wanting to meet you.
The hologram flickers out, then flickers back in next to Ex.
I'd like to request an alliance. With our powers combined, we could do almost anything. We could rule everything. However, for me to gain my full power, I'll need your help. You see, I need my siblings to die so that I can get at their data. However, they've been proving... resilient. I'll finish them off myself. I'll just need someone else to weaken them enough for me. What do you say? Partners?
He turns to Shadow as he taunts him.
Well, I'm not going to be piloting my body, so much as be it. But to answer your questions, no, I couldn't stay away. My job here's not done yet. And no, it won't be exactly what you'd call humanoid. As for my codename, you'll find that this will fit very well with how I'll be fighting you all. Destroy.
Aarik almost drops his gun from shock.
You've gotta be kidding me.
Sigma only laughs as the hologram fades away.
Aarik lines up another shot with his sniper, this time getting a bead on Superman. More specifically, a patch near Superman.
So, guess I count as an entity, huh? Doesn't really matter, I've got Lady Luck on my side.
He squeezes the trigger, causing a bullet to erupt from the barrel, nicking Superman as it whizzes by to bounce off of a wall, directly into Zeus for 22,000 damage (unmodified, of course). However, because of something he did while off-camera, all of his bullets now randomly have a chance to be elementally charged as explosive, corrosive, fire, and shock. This one was charged with fire. Zeus is wearing a toga. Zeus' toga catches on fire, giving him severe third degree burns. When he does finally put himself out, he is naked. Times 2 damage for embarrassment factor!!
Who are you kidding? This is Zeus we're talking about! The god that Really Gets Around! I know that's not his actual title, but still, he really does.
Well, if you think about it, it does seem that most of the...
Gamma drones on and on about how Zeus is a real Jerkass, dealing damage to all three of the gods out of sheer boredom.
Beta throws Zeus high into the air, looks around, finds a concrete divider, and recreates this infamous scene.

Alpha then does the unthinkable and focuses on Zeus.
Betcha my god's better than you.
Alpha starts a "My dad is better than your dad" argument, then surprises him with an RKO out of nowhere!

When everything changes nothing changes./null
Okay, so. You know how I have in my head an idea that I want to turn DTG into a comic series, right? That's still a bit of a ways off, but sometimes I imagine possible fanart and fan projects, sometimes based off of ideas or things that haven't, won't, or can't happen.
Anyways, a thing popped into my head, the recent spate of "You Are My Sunshine" Undertale things with Sans and Papyrus, my mind inevitably drifted to DTG. Guess who popped into my head? Spirit and Kai.
And my mind followed the most demented train of thought ending with: "You know, we really don't have enough emotionally impacting events in DTG, what would probably solve that would be properly introducing Kai and Spirit into DTG0 or the reboot, then killing Kai off some point near the halfway point to send Spirit into a depression and the rest of the aspects into a rage."
(Please don't kill me sacred/talist, I know that's a horrible train of thought, please don't kill me I'm an author it's in my nature, but it's true.) I had this whole idea and a string of images that ran through my head and it was super emotional and sad but also super cool and part of me wants it to happen now in the actual games just so it could be an actual thing even though it's terrible.
(0)_(0) I'm a terrible person. Please don't hurt me.
DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?iPad is dying. Brb to comment on...that...

I'm not going to have enough time to post due to a test tomorrow (sorry to Alpha and Spirit), but I'll say this.
@Piono: ... Huh? I remember you saying a while ago that we didn't have enough relationships in DTG. And now that we have one, as contrived and unrealistic as it may be, you say we don't have enough tragedy? Why? Planets blow up on a semi regular basis, Wilson burnt down his own home and blames himself for the lives of everyone inside, and Blue's grandfather was assassinated. It might not look like it, but actually all of my characters have come pre-packaged with their own traumatic backstory/future plans (yes, including Kai. She's alluded to it a few times, but Spirit keeps telling her it doesn't matter.) ... I should really try to get Mikoto's stuff to work. I honestly feel bad for him because he's kinda screwed right now. (I also remember I forgot to apply his speech quirk in that previous post. Dang it. I should have replaced his V's with F's.)
Although I have a bigger problem with the plan than that. What are other people's ideas when it comes to characters? I'm currently planning on not bringing anyone into the reboot and get a new cast. Maybe with the exception of Talist just because he's my base combat guy and isn't for R Ping.
And anyway, if you want that kind of tragedy, you'll have to change how the DTG universe fundamentally works. Because right now, Death is Cheap. If Kai actually died, I don't think it would be an understatement to say that Spirit & co would go bashing down the gates of Limbo to get her back. Plus, in DTG 0, it just takes a 50 post charge to revive someone.
@piono: Don't worry, I've got you covered on that front.
Suck it, troper!(Speed: Actually, mind not using that... glitchy mess of a font? I'd like to actually see what he's saying. And symbols exist if you want something that's glitchy yet not.)
(Piono: Thanks for the words. But I've pretty much decided to just respect her relationship and throw any idea of actually dating her.)
(Sacred: The Scrap Searcher summons a temporary Scrap Golem. Strength of Gods gives you extra damage and cleave on your attacks (one character only, though). Walpurgisnacht Slayer isolates the target and forces them to fight against some Dark Magical Girls. Divine Godmodding drastically alters the End of Turn battle in your favor.)
(Alpha: Because I don't know DBZA, lol. And that has got to be awkward.)
(Piono: Cool idea. Let's kill Kai. That aside, I do try to fit in emotional moments in this game, but I just can't due to minimal writing experience and time.)
(Talist: My idea for my characters is to bring them back with a twist. Portlight Crew may or may not get mechanized and will be more "efficient killers", probably evil too. Fraissa (my character in DtG0) will probably be more mind-controlly and have "eviler" beasts. Either that or more protectory. Kinda mixed because it doesn't just affect my DtG *hintsatsecretprojectthathasbeenabandonedmanytimesbutwillbefinishedassoonasIhavetimeafternationals*)

...there we are. Moved to my laptop.
@Piono:
...erm, no. I'm sorry, but I can't comprehend why a story needs a senseless moment of heartbreak, especially for one of the two most optimistic characters in the entire franchise. And another thing about Spirit is that, being an Empath, s/he's incredibly innocent and impressionable, and an eternal optimist unless proven different, possibly a bit too much, so any sort of critical trauma like that would emotionally wound them intensely, probably even permanently. S/he'd certainly have trouble seeing any light in the world, and s/he would definitely never fall in love again, for fear of the event repeating itself. This is not something that is worth happening.
@Talist:
Oh, Spirit's blocking Kai from giving her story? That has to be unintentional on their part. S/he's an idealist, so s/he hates to focus on the negatives. S/he prefers a positive outlook, and can be a bit hyperactive, but, if prompted, s/he can sit down and listen. I'd count on that.

Quick RP:
The Aspects and the Guardian stare at the two hellish apparitions. Shadow sidesteps Speed.EXE's hand, and promptly spits upon him, scowling.
"Pfeh! You do not scare me! I've heard of the atrocities you've committed, and it only steels my resolve!"
He smirks darkly, adjusting his hat.
"Oh? Not insulting enough for you? Well, allow me to borrow a page from an old friend of mine..."
He clears his throat, and points dramatically.
In the words of the great Bard himself, thou art a half-faced, hell-hated hedge-pig!"
He whips around, and points at Sigma in the same manner.
"And as for you, thou art a currish, clapper-clawed clack-dish!"
Yes, I am in Drama class. We just got done watching Much ado about Nothing and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
He glares at the pair of them.
"Thy mewling, motely-minded miscreants!"
He finishes his insult spree by dramatically averting his gaze from the pair of them. He quickly keys something into a terminal on his wrist.
"By the way, there's a humanoid body hidden underneath Destroy Gundam's shell...not that you care, anyway. You're still going to be crushed."
As the two phantoms fade, Shadow and the others give them a defiant look, standing their ground.
...until .EXE pulls his little shapeshifting stunt.
The Guardian blinks, taken aback by the merciless taunt, and he bares his fangs, hissing. He looks to Spirit, and notices s/he's frozen where s/he stands, a Thousand-Yard Stare in their eyes. S/he shakes slightly, which can initially be taken for fear, but, as their eyes begin to darken, clouding with black and lighting up with glowing green points, it's revealed to be cold, intense anger. S/he clenches their fists, watching the phantom leave in the form of their beloved.
'...he's going to pay for that...'

@Talist: Like I said, small part of me. It was a an idea that floated into my head, and I just sort of typed it down, because, as you pointed out, it isn't really worth enacting. Under the scale of whether it may or may not happen, it falls under shouldn't. Tragedy is cheap in DTG, and although we don't actually have much that actually tugs at the heart strings since none of it happens to characters we're actually emotionally attached to yet, (well, except for sacred, since he's an easy target.) most of me wants to see Kai and Spirit make it all the way to the end. We finally have characters who can get a happily ever after instead of a tumultuous depression filled ever after, it'd sort of suck to kill half of them off at the last second.
Also, anything I say in posts like this is idle speculation. I'm not trying to hammer anyone into a plan. Especially not for the reboot. I have a little bit of a plot planned, but the point of the reboot is to not start out with people's plots nailed down, but with the mechanics nailed down, so we have structure, but we still have options. But yeah, there'll probably be some changes. Death won't be cheap. You'll probably be able to get back versions of a person, if you're willing to get back a cheap copy, rather than the actual person you spent millenia adventuring through the multiverse with. Limbo'll be a lot harder to break into and out of.
@sacred: Same thing as above. It's the sort of thing where you look at the sort of "sad fan project" things just because feels. You know? But you guys are right, honestly, DTG needs more optimism than it needs edginess right now.
DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?Okay...

Turns until the beast arrives: 6.
A sense of dread fills the air..
The battlefield seems... hotter.
Welcome to my special hell./R Pnull. Let's go in order of other people.
Heh, alright then. I'll not look at your second slash third personality funny. Although, given the whole 'one physical form' thing, I'm not sure exactly how that would work. For us, split personality disorder isn't particularly descriptive because the specifics vary so much between people.
On hearing the Fenririan v. Fenrisian backstory, Wilson remains stoic, holding back a joke that would probably irritate Aarik more. But listening more to Aarik, he turns Not So Stoic, with his ears falling slightly. He sympathizes with Aarik, remembering his own similar past.
... I know what that's like, with flames all around you, breaking through and melting away everything you've ever known. It's terrifying. Then being forced to flee into something you don't know, with nowhere to go and nowhere to stay. But I'm glad you found somewhere, as distant as it might have been. ... But what about your parents? Or... should I not ask about that? I understand either way. ...
Then he turns somewhat slowly to Sigma.
Oh yeah, hi again. ... Hm. And what do you mean by my 'master'?
He seems a little annoyed now, so possibly Sigma hit on something.
Just because I'm a fox, doesn't mean I have a 'master' or 'owner'. So I find your comments very offensive. Say something else like that, and I'll have to file a lawsuit for discrimination in the workplace. But more seriously, are you referring to Talist as my 'master'? Why? ... I'll clarify this, I suppose. Talist has his band of elites that he calls Companions. And no, that's not a reference to Skyrim. He's like... the general of them, but I'm not a Companion, and neither is Cynder. Kai is, however. So I'm not actually under Talist's, the character's, command or anything. Of course, this is me explaining some stuff that I shouldn't actually know. You can go ahead and ask him about your 'hiding behind pets due to failure' theory if you want, but I suspect that when you have the opportunity to do so, you'll have more pressing issues to deal with, like getting his fancy stick to stop crushing your throat.
To demonstrate his point, Wilson disappears suddenly in a brief flash of light and reappears alongside an illusionary copy of himself. When he speaks, it's impossible to tell which is actually talking, which makes it slightly disturbing.
There are a bunch of ways to get your hologram to fight for you. But whatever. I'll take your word for it that you don't need it.
As quickly as it had appeared, the light illusion version of Wilson disappeared.
But if you get more enjoyment from waiting, seems like you could wait a couple decades for exponential waiting fun. We'd all enjoy it so much. You could even invite us to your birthday party.
@Spirit: As we've moved place again, I'll try to move along more... Sorry...
Kai listens to Spirit explaining their taste, nodding a little.
That sounds so odd... I can't really imagine tasting like... that. Uh... But I guess that taste is just a label. ... I could... ah... place a label on... ahm... wait... Taste is just like detecting... Er... detecting chemicals so... eh... Would it be like... ahh...
She abandons that line of thought and swaps to something else.
I can't quite get the comparison. ... Actually... did the sunlight taste like cotton candy? Or ice cream? That's a lot easier. Well, if you can even compare it.
Hearing Spirit describe their views on hunting, Kai starts to get anxious and lies down on the ground.
I'm s-sorry... ... I'll eat something hunted... but... it's not like I need it... ... And it doesn't really benefit me much... So... ... Uh... I'll stop. Yeah. It's okay. I don't need to hunt if you'd prefer I don't.
Kai blinks, realizing that reference might have made her sound arrogant.
I was just... like... setting myself as the Executive Branch, and that's... Ah, never mind. And I wouldn't say I'm that clever, because out of everything I could have studied while recovering from near death trauma, I picked the rather useless subject.
She looks up, a bit surprised.
Huh? No, of course. I know you're not jealous or malicious! You're nice too. I didn't expect to be so much happier in a war. But... things have been going so well for me, thanks a lot to people like you. ... Thanks...
Hearing Fury forgive her, Kai looks more relieved.
Oh... okay. Thank you... I still feel kinda bad...
As Fury pats her on the head, she tilts her head down.
But if you don't mind... thank you...
The IUPC stands for Inter-Universal Peace Cores. Hank and Eric are more in charge of it than I am. They did some scouting of this place beforehand, but I don't really know what people look like. ... And I'll take this to him. If I find him, after all.
And now this little section is kinda meaningless. I'd like to hurry along.
Given the choice, Kai looks down at the ground, listening to everyone around.
Ah... could I... um... If you want me to choose...
Then she looks up at Spirit.
Could I ride on the Guardian? The Portlight or... ships like that feel kinda closed. And I feel like Cynder will have an easier time following than you expect.
Assuming that Spirit and the Guardian agree, Kai half walks, half limps over to the Guardian and waits for Spirit to help her up. Once she's on, she lies down and closes her eyes.
Sweet Spirit, please tell me when we're high in the air, okay?
She takes off the tiara and holds it down to the Guardian's back in front of her, bracer herself against the sudden acceleration. She takes a deep breath and endures the take off. And when in the air, she opens one eye and looks up at Spirit.
We're... okay now, right?
Confirming that, she picks her head up to look around, feeling the rushing wind and seeming to calm down. She still looks up at the clouds rather than the ground. Enjoying herself, she looks back to the horizontal and holds out her right paw out, trying to get her leg reasonably straight and looking at how both her real and artificial fur rippled in the wind. She was incredibly intent on that, like she was carefully studying how it moved and seeing if there was a difference between her two kinds of fur. She stays like that until she feels the Guardian descend.
We're going down? Right? Okay. I'll... close my eyes again.
She does as she says and lies down again, closing her eyes so she won't have to see the ground until it was within a couple meters. Once she feels the Guardian stop moving, she rises up to her feet, waiting for Spirit to help her down while staggering slightly from dizziness.
Whoa... Ah... thank you, Guardian.
Once again, her fur is all sticking out from the air resistance. She puts her head down briefly to brush some of her fur out of her face, puts on the tiara, then looks up again.
You know... this time, I think I'll keep it like this.
Once she gets down from the Guardian, she follows Spirit to see .Exe and Sigma and adds to Shadow's 'comments'.
You juggler! You cankerblossom! You thief of love!
Yeah, I read Midsummer Night's Dream about a year or two ago. And Kai would probably know that line.
She stays rather upbeat, her happiness overpowering the fear of seeing the grotesque .Exe. And watching the transformation trickery, she's more just confused and off-put by seeing 'herself' speaking.
Uh... hi? Well... this isn't a recording...
She turns to Spirit, her ears falling as she reads their expression. More nervous from Spirit's reaction rather than .Exe's action, she tries to get Spirit's attention with a timid voice.
Hey... uh... that's obviously not me. I'm so much cuter than that, right? And... fluffier.
Then she quickly turns her head away, possibly to hide her eyes. Her tail now dragging on the ground, she edges towards Spirit, softly muttering a mist cloud of an anxious song (that metaphor is kinda confusing...). A few moments later, a half second of growling is the only warning anyone gets before Kai suddenly flips into anger like a frayed rope finally snapping and takes an awkward, but defiant step towards .Exe. However, her appearance betrayed her words and stance; she looked like a pipe cleaner with legs because she hadn't straightened out her fur.
What are you even trying?! You're n-not me! I-... I can describe the Court's process of incorporation! Not you! S-so just stop it! Stop messing with Spirit!
Of course, he words are pointless as .Exe disappears anyway, leaving Kai softly growling at the wind. And just as quickly as the wind comes and goes, her anger left her, replaced with anxiety. Now embarrassed by her outburst, she slowly backs away to Spirit again.
Ah... sorry...
@Piono: Tragedy is a choice left entirely to the players, after all. And, especially in a setting and ongoing RP format like this, I really don't like the thought of killing off characters. It's not like a book where you can swap around the order of events midway through writing it. ... I do have some plans for story stuff in the reboot (IE: 2 character concepts, their relation to each other, a vague idea of a plot), but currently it's all rather generic ideas that can happen just on my own and without godmodders or the Narrative or whatever. I'd recommend to everyone to keep the your characters based on original things.
@Sacred: Eh, don't worry about it. Plus, if you had pressed the issue more, I would have had Kai be extremely vague because it's spoilers for stuff that I hope will happen in DTG 0.
As he is about to jump down off the Portlight, Wilson hears a voice behind him.
Hello Wilson.
He recognized the voice and turns around to see Cyndi standing directly under a light, keeping his neutral tone.
Oh hey there. I presume you sneaked back aboard the Portlight thanks to the power of plot convenience?
Cynder looked rather creepy with the light unnaturally highlighting her eyes and making their darkness seem to shine like some kind of unnaturally tinted fire.
... Yes. I am not going to attack you. I honestly made a mistake. I’m sorry.
Eh, it’s fine. I can forgive you. Especially because you’re doing quite well compared to other people around here who consistently try to kill me.
Somewhat surprised by his quick forgiveness, Cynder blinks slowly and pauses for a while before eventually continuing.
Thank you. … So can I hav-
However, she looks around and realizes that she had kept Wilson inside the Portlight too long and everyone else was leaving. Pretty soon, Wilson and her would be alone in the ship, and that gave her an idea. She could try again and attack Wilson. With enough of a surprise factor, she could win this time and kill Wilson in the Portlight. And with that, the greatness she could accomplish... Her hope shined within her, but not like how a torch did, but like how a sword's edge shined in the light, only properly shown against a backdrop of both light and darkness. Her hope was sharp and strong, so it was only to be expected that it could eviscerate weaker hopes and become even stronger, right? Mikoto had delegated that task to her and promised that she could get such strength if she succeeded—the kind of strength that could shine with untold of hope. It would just take o-
Actually, could we get out of this ship? I’d prefer to be outside.
Without waiting for his response, Cynder interrupts her own thoughts to walk past Wilson and jump down out of the Portlight.
Um… okay? I personally think it feels rather nice.
Clearly not agreeing with him, Cyndi had already left and either couldn’t hear him or chose not to.
Not many other places to go but outside...

There's a Youtube Channel... I do some stuff with it.../rp addendum to Wilson and Cyndi leaving the Portlight.
Hank stays behind, and as Wilson is leaving, Hank disembarks the Portlight alongside Wilson. Watch yourself when you're with that dragon Wilson. I don't trust her.
((That was for a few reasons: partly because 1. Hank is slightly paranoid and would've made sure to be the last one to leave the Portlight anyways, 2. Wilson's part of the IUPC and I need to make a little bit more effort to include him in sort of the inter-party politics. He's part of the crew, and I'm not very good at keeping that in mind, and 3. Hank legit does not trust Cyndi yet. As stated above, he's slightly paranoid, as a side of effect of the universe he hails from.))

Aarik chuckles at what Wilson asks him.
You, uh, you caught that, huh? Yeah, got three in here. Vlad - That's what he calls himself, by the way - I was born with him. He's not that bad, actually. Then there's when he's grumpy. He'll absolutely destroy you if you just look at him wrong. Alright, I MAY be exaggerating that a bit. But he's still rather unpleasant in that mood.
Aarik shakes in anger as he looks at Wilson.
Yeah. It sounds real similar, don't it? Used to be one group 'a people, but various disputes broke 'em in half. One planet. Two nations at war with the other. Heh. I was born a Fenrisian, but quickly changed sides. The reason? My village had a superstition. "The boy of two minds would destroy the village." Sounds silly, right? My parents didn't believe in that, so when the others came to take me, they refused. The others got REAL miffed at that. They tried burning our house down, but just then, a huge wind came through, blowing the fires onto the other houses. In their own religious fervor, they caused their own downfall. I ran, as fast and as far as I could. I eventually made it to the Fenririan border, and they took me in, no problem. They didn't even care that I had two personalities. Imagine it. An 8-year-old boy, running and crawling through the frozen tundra with only the clothes on his back.
He turns back to Sigma, sneering.
So, how'd you know about where I'm from?
We have... extensive files on people of note in the various universes. You have one. Everyone here has one. Almost everyone.
The hologram turns to Wilson, grinning.
I have next to nothing on your master. When I fought him earlier, that was the most we'd gotten on him. I found it particularly interesting that he leans on you and your fellows as a result of some sort of failure. But that doesn't make sense to me. If that's true, then he'd be here, on the front lines. But instead, he's hiding. Hiding behind his little pets. And you never really met me, did you? When you first arrived, I was the giant dragon. Do you remember? I'd used it as a "Get Out of Jail Free" card, I believe is the phrase. However, that backfired horribly. Now, I'm preparing my real body to finish each and every one of you personally. And I don't need this hologram to do anything else. I'll get more enjoyment from it if I wait that much longer.
You sadistic *bleep*.
Sigma turns back to Aarik, obviously unamused.
You're already on my list. You don't need to improve your standings.
Everyone's surprised as they see who they're up against.
Welp. We're *bleep*ed. We're fighting two people who are gods in their own worlds, and one who might as well be one.
Yeah, we know this already. How do you?
Aarik tries to scratch the back of his head, but fails because of the helmet.
Well, the experiment with the Psycho brain sorta left me, uh... aware.
Of?
You know what the fourth wall is, right?
Yeah, Shadow explained that to me.
Yeah, I can see past that now, and into other universes now. Including the one out there.
He points directly at the screen. Everyone's screen. All at once. But it only looks like he's pointing at your screen.
I am unsure of where you are pointing.
Aarik stops pointing and shrugs.
Eh, didn't expect you to know. Other people will, though.
He then aims down the sights of his sniper, lining up a really good shot.
This should solve at least 80% of the problems in Greek mythology.
Pulling the trigger, he gets a, erm... different type of headshot.
Please. You can just say that I shot him in the *bleep*.
Okay, I've never had to argue with a character before, but can you not do that? Please?
What? Breaking the fourth wall or swearing? I'm confused here.
Yes.
Dammit, I walked right into that one!
Yep.
WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?!!!?
None of your business!
