Hey, look! There are no question marks on the corruption charge now. I looked up what the value was at before! I sure hope that this is how it works.
Question: How do player bosses work? As in, is it a sort of charge, or what? I haven't sen anyone doing anything special recently. Because, despite me having no idea player bosses were a thing until recently, the corruption has always been a sort of player boss.

I am fully anticipating to be knocked back by the godmodder. This will function as a segway into the player boss, assuming that's how it works. I don't even know the specifics of what a player boss is. That said, the corruption has been taking up a charge slot for most of my game time, so a resolution of some sort is important to the character.

...my sister had to have her second rat euthanized today, because she was really sick, and was having trouble breathing...now her third rat is going to have to live alone for a while, until my sister gets her a new cagemate...rats are highly social creatures. They pine when they're alone.

S/he nods, and watches Kai look for the fresh soil, which begins to become visible under the old, though the grains are very well-distributed, so as to encourage maximum growth, so the color takes some noticing.
'I suppose you could call the way I eat 'recycling', I guess...I'm part-plant, so I don't eat the same food other people do, and I don't have a mouth, so I absorb things through contact with my skin. Unlike the other Aspects, I actually need to feed in order to keep myself healthy. When the Sylvans found and raised me, they ended up changing me a lot, making me very different from my siblings. Instead of simply eating something, I drain it through touch, absorbing its water content, nutrients...'
S/he pauses, looking a bit nervous.
'...and...life force...well, that's how I need to eat, feeding off of those three things. When I've drained something, it disintegrates into fresh soil, which encourages plant growth, which I guess is supposed to benefit me, as well, because I can draw energy from it by taking root. I mostly just use it to grow flowers, and to generally help any nearby plants grow strong. Now...I do feed off of the life force of my meals, and I can feed off of both plants and animals...I try to feed off of fruit when I can, but I'm also often tempted to sample the latter...when I do feed, I try to make sure what I'm going to feed off has died naturally, as that usually carries enough residual life force to keep myself healthy, but, sometimes, I pick some fresh fruit, or hunt and catch some live insects or fish, and I feed off of those. Live food gives me more nourishment than that which has died prior, but I always feel guilty about it...'
Effectively, Spirit is sort of a blend between a parasitic plant like a strangler fig, and an Energy Vampire.

Spirit giggles, nodding.
'Alright, if you're okay with it. I just didn't want to fluster you. I know people can get really embarrassed about things, so I didn't want to strike a nerve or anything. And, yeah...you did look pretty cute. I love fluffy things. Fluffy animals, especially. It's kind of fascinating that I'd fall for one.'
Fury cocks his head, adjusting the shoulders of his jacket.
"Oi. I take big pride in my fashion sense. My quills, especially. It's annoying enough that they all stand up when I get angry, ruining all my hard work. You know how tough it is to style these? I have to get special brushes and combs made so they won't melt or snap!"
Neo folds his arms.
"And I do most of the forging for all of us, so I believe you have me to thank for the continuation of the improvement of your image."
Fury raises a finger, but can't think of a rebuttal, and sighs.
"Point taken."
Spirit blinks, and snickers a bit. Fury raises an eyebrow, looking mildly embarrassed. Spirit shakes their head.
'Oh, no...'
Fury begins to look more at ease. Spirit then starts to snicker more.
'...he looks kind of like a thistle!
S/he starts to laugh, and Fury goes a bit pale in the face, trying to keep his composure. He looks down, and kicks the dirt. He eventually manages a small, uneasy grin, and shrugs.
"Heh...good one..."
Spirit blinks, listening to Cyndi.
'Well...it's good that you can retain some memories...for what you were doing, you were pretty amazing out there. I was impressed. I was shocked when you fell unconscious...I hope you're going to be alright, now...'
S/he looks at Cyndi with a mix of thankfulness and relief.
'Oh, good...yes, I was agitated out of my mind, then...the one I love nearly took her own life trying to gain her revenge on the one who crippled her...I did my best to keep myself calm for her, though...I didn't doubt her for a second. I guess I just channeled all of my negative emotions toward whoever happened to be in the area...I need to work on that...anyway, it's such a relief that there's no hard feelings between us...now that I get to hold a conversation with you, I can see that you're not a bad person at all...I just snapped because I was scared.'
S/he tilts their head.
'Well...she did, and I promised I'd tell you. With the way she said it, it seemed pretty important to her, so, maybe you could possibly give it a little more thought? I mean, once you're better, of course...you look like you need some rest...anyway, you're not the musical type? Hm...I wonder why she said you taught her, then...I wonder if it was indirect in some way...'
S/he blinks.
'Is...there something wrong with our Sanctuary...? Is there anything that upsets you about it? I think it's peaceful...'
S/he looks visibly disappointed, but nods.
'Alright...bye, Cynder...hopefully we'll see you at the Sanctuary, later, maybe...I hope you feel better.'
Spirit's eyes light up, and s/he nods, looking pleasantly surprised.
'Yes, Neo's my nickname for him! He's my brother. He's the Aspect of Metal, Magnetism, Energy, and Technology. He handles most of the high-tech science stuff. Wait...'
S/he looks curious.

S/he blinks.
'Oh, Neo's really good at guesswork. He can test something for a short amount of time, and then repair it in rapid order. He's really smart.'
S/he tilts their head.
'Oh, he's good with computers, too. He's an energy being, so he can even upload himself into technology. He can likely read that without any problem.'
S/he casts a glance in the direction Cyndi walked off into.
'I hope so...I wanted to see if I could help work this out between you two...I wouldn't want to see two people who could be friends fighting over such a big misunderstanding...'
S/he blinks, and takes on a bit of a nervous look at the ominous words, sneaking a glance in Wilson's direction.

'I'm sorry...I wish I didn't think this was necessary, but Speed and Fira told me I should have you cover your mouth, as well as your eyes and ears...Solar summoned some kind of body-stealing aliens that are apparently usually Evil, and they don't trust Solar enough to believe he can control them...I don't want you to get hurt...'

Round II:
The Aspects focus fire on the Godmodder, attempting to interrupt his teleport. Shadow and Fury harry him, while Light, Spirit, and Neo run healing duty for AG's. Galvix reinforces the healing station from before that never got used, giving it armor. Arkus tries to shield everyone from any incoming attacks.

@speed: The IUPC is the Inter-Universal Peace Corps, initially founded... a long time ago, but during the events of DTG2, the antics of Alpha and Piono resulted in it being wiped from the timeline, with Eric and Piono being the only surviving members. Obviously, Piono's evil now, so that's a problem.
Eric refounded the organization, and has slowly been attempting to build up membership, but since an incident with one Kalare Erelye he is very wary about who he lets into the organization. The IUPC is dedicated to upholding truth, justice, mercy and all those good things. And they're outgunned, outmanned and outmaneuvered. The only reason why they aren't dead yet is because the Narrative still has plans for them and Haven, the extra-universal planet they set up home base on (has it's own city that basically acts as a safe haven for refugees) has some serious void magics keeping it shielded from the various groups that want them dead.
Basically they're just another group of good guys in the big bad Multiverse.

I've prepared a special concoction for this attack... It's a real Gargle Blaster, to use a term. I would feel sorry for the poor sap who made it if I weren't created to feel no remorse.
I teleport a cocktail of rum, fine sake, absinthe, nitroglycerin, fluoroantimonic acid, nuclear waste, and pure, concentrated hellfire... into the Godmodder's face. D4C, meanwhile, sits back and tries to think of what to do in a situation where he can't really do much.
I suppose now would be as good a time as any to describe what the hell Infinity even looks like. He's wearing a hood and mask, and largely black-and-white clothing otherwise. There are lines on the outfit that change color depending on which of his personalities, of which there have been three revealed, is the current dominant one.
How did Infinity acquire his other personalities? It is a mystery we shall take to our graves. Or the reboot. Whichever one I feel like.

Once she had a chance to realize where she was, she looked down at her leg, but quickly remembered that she had left her bracer by Wilson. Seemingly satisfied with that knowledge, she got up and shook herself off before deciding to head back to Wilson. She would have to prepare a couple of responses for questions he might ask, such as ‘what we’re you thinking?’. Of course, she didn’t want to reveal too much, as that would probably be bad.

Other note: God, the Pantheon Pokémon's movesets are terrible. Hyper Voice on Arceus. Really. This set can't even hit levitating Ghost-types without changing plates (which is impossible in-battle). Why not go for {=Extreme Killer=} Arceus or something. Seriously, Pantheon. And that's forgetting the Kanto starter sets. They don't even bring items!

But I've got homework to do, so my characters start out the fight by laying down some covering fire, John whips up a storm, obscuring the battlefield with dust, Eric tosses rune words the explode into basic elemental bursts, and the others just sort of fire into the dust storm at the gods.

I turn to face the AG's.
So, these guys are all borderline Overdeities, meaning they're really f***ing strong. Zeus has 400,000 HP, Arceus has 600,000 HP, and Superman has 800,000 HP. Added together, that's 1,800,000 HP. Meaning that this will most likely be the longest fight we've had to do yet.
I think I said a while ago that I would show no more mercy to any opponent I would face. That if an enemy appears before me, I would not hesitate to destroy it. That includes gods. Even if they're Greater Gods.
I then turn to face the opposition again.
So, who wants to die first?
ACTIONS:
I pull out the Lightning Spear, and aim it at Zeus. A sound of gathering energy is heard, and then a final lightning bolt is fired from the spear's tip. The air is torn apart to make room for the bolt, and a massive thunderclap sounds in the air as the bolt reaches its target. (The Lightning Spear's base damage is 9000.)
Meanwhile, D4C also faces the opposition. He decides to follow Solar's example and kick one of the three where it hurts most.

Go figure.
Walls of flesh catch all of Hunter's bullets, and throw them back. They all miss. A fountain of blood rises from the ground, and a figure is formed.
It looks like Speed... But very, very, very obviously off. It's neck looks like it's been hanged, head cocked at a lethal angle. It's arms are contorted into physically impossible positions, as are it's legs. It has long, bloodstained claws for fingers, and clawed toes pierce shoes. But least obviously, the face. Black eyes. Red irises. No pupils. Ears torn to look like horns. And a scarred mouth forced into a grin. As it speaks, it sounds it's voice is coming from several places... None of which are the Apparition.
