I'm not. Hunter would have missed (Ultimate Marksman, remember?) and even then, I targeted... All the PG entities. Mechanically, I could have just said Hunter used Bullet Dance and it would have the same effect. I didn't... Please chill out.

((So, I want to ask you guys a question, you guys all know that the continuity reboot is coming. Do you guys want me to start it up as soon as this session is done, or do you want to migrate over to DTG0, ride out the end of canon, and wait for everything to come to it's incredible head and not accidentally diffuse things by making another game?))

Spirit tilts their head.

'Well...I am feeling a bit hungry...and if you don't think you'll be uncomfortable...'

S/he looks to Shadow, who tilts his head.

"Hm? Alright, I'll give you a fruit, I guess."

He clicks his fingers, conjuring an apple. He hands it to Spirit, who looks to Kai.

'Okay...so, here I go...'

S/he covers the apple with their hands, and slightly tightens their grip, getting a firm hold. Drops of moisture gradually begin to form on the fruit's outside as water is drawn out from inside the fruit, and it begins to shrink and degrade as essential nutrients are leeched from within. As this is happening, Spirit closes their eyes, and their skin and foliage begins to become a brighter, lusher, healthier green. Gradually, the apple becomes more and more drained, until it dissolves into mineral-rich, fresh soil, which Spirit closes their palms on. S/he scatters the soil to the ground, and ensures it mixes with the rest, then gives a cursory look to Kai.

'...you probably want me to explain what I just did, right...?'

Hiding, huh? Useful. Ohhhh...well, that's still a bit unfortunate...but I think this Blank Book sounds interesting.

You have a point. That makes sense, and I don't care if it might be grammatically incorrect.

Critiquing the idealistic views of a lovestruck Nature Deity? Now, you're just looking for things to correct... tongue

Seriously, though, it's a common saying. Though your point does intrigue me...

Spirit looks pleasantly surprised.

'Oh? You really think that? Well...yeah, I think we're quite alike, too...but...'selling myself short'? You think I'm better than what I said?'

S/he sighs, looking thankful.

'That's one of the best things anyone's ever said to me...'

Spirit and Neo exchange a glance, and Neo cocks his head.

"...I do not wish you any discomfort, Miss Kai. I hope you become more comfortable..."

Spirit looks sympathetic.

'Oh, well...I don't want you to be afraid...'

The Guardian frowns.

"Ssshould I alter my flight path, then?"

Back when he's landed, he tilts his head.

"Well, I mussst sssay you have a point, but there are sssuch thingsss assss flying sssnakesss. They do not get at all assss large assss me, however. I alssso feel sssympathetic for your fear of heightsss...I would gladly help you conquer that fear sssometime."

Spirit pets Kai behind the ears, and tries to help her smoothe down her fur, looking sympathetic.

'It's alright...I didn't know you'd be embarrassed. I wouldn't have joked around if I did.'

Neo tilts his head, amusement in his eyes.

"Yes, my Avatar is quite aerodynamic, I would say. There is nothing to impede acceleration."

He looks to Shadow and the others.

"It would be safe to say that the only Aspects that would share your sympathies would be Arkus and Shadow for their headwear, and Fury for his quills. Fury becomes quite irate if something happens to his hairstyle."

Fury raises an eyebrow, frowning unamusedly.

"Yeah, why do you know that? Firsthand knowledge. Don't even think of doing something, metalhead..."

Spirit rolls their eyes.

'Can you see what we have to put up with?'

Spirit looks to Wilson, tilting their head.

'Well, I don't think either of you needs to take the blame...it was an accident. It happens sometimes.'

S/he looks to Cyndi, blinking.

'I saw you out there...you were in some kind of superpowered form...apparently you had some sort of amnesia, though, because you didn't remember talking to anyone, and you had a shorter attention span than normal...'

S/he looks surprised, and nods.

'You remember me? We haven't talked much, though...okay...yes, I'm Spirit.'

S/he points across the lake.

'Kai's over there. I convinced her to let me out into the fray as long as I kept close and stayed safe. I don't want either of us to get hurt again...'

S/he looks a bit apologetic.

'Um...I'm still a bit upset over snapping at you when you were worried about Kai, when she fainted after hurting herself with the Fragment of the Song...I was scared and confused, and I was ready to take everything as an attack...I hope you'll forgive me...and, if you were wondering why Kai asked me to tell you she's thankful, then, she said something about learning part of that song from you a long time ago...'

S/he blinks.

'...um...you don't have to go...the Sanctuary is really good if you're hurt...and Wilson said he didn't mean you any harm...'

S/he looks a bit sad, and glances back to Wilson, watching him inspecting the bracer. S/he blinks.

'...what's that...?'

S/he takes a closer look at it, and tilts their head.

'Neo could probably find out what it used to do...'

S/he blinks, and nods.

'Yeah, I hope she's not gone too long, either...she seems really nice, and I wouldn't want her to be too upset...'

Arkus blinks, tilting his head.

"Well, we do know Paarthurnax, yes...and several incarnations of the Last Dovahkiin throughout Reality. When we visit, we enjoy speaking with Paarthurnax, since we always have much to talk about. He is a very wise being. His moral reformation is a good thing, indeed, since Alduin's Revolution was a cataclysmic event. On a related note, we have actually been able to convince the Blades to let Paarthurnax live, as well as any other Dragons we met that forsook Alduin's word. Of course, with a group of Deities that would evidently be on the scale of the Divines and Daedric Princes, they would do well to listen..."

Spirit tilts their head, blinking. S/he looks a bit nervous.

'Um...okay...they scare me...I think I'll protect Kai, yeah...'

S/he looks to Kai, and Shadow conjures a bandanna. Spirit takes it, and gives Kai a nervous look.

'Okay...you might need to have this on over your mouth...I think these Green things are kind of dangerous...I'm sorry for all this, but Speed knows about these aliens...'

Galvix flinches, and growls, sparking.

"Hey! CutThatOut! IMayImmortalBeLivingLightning,ButThat'sStillExtremelyUncomfortable! KnockItOffBeforeIMakeYouKnockItOff!"

Shadow narrows his eyes.

"Now, you really don't get to hurt my siblings..."

He sees Tabbune go down, and snarls.

   "Or my friends! You're awful!"

Actions:

Shadow lunges for the Mecha Zombie, attempting to clock it in the head with his Robo Wrecker.

"I hope I get some Alchemy ingredients, soon..."

Spirit tries to heal Ira and Amaria, and Neo supplies some energy to Galvix in order to heal him. Galvix and Fury team up, and Neo shoots a heated missile at the Mecha Herobrine.

Plus three to Talist.

Action: I point out to the Mecha Herobrine that Herobrine has been removed several times throughout Minecraft's development. And so, it is only a matter of time before this particular Herobrine gets removed from Minecraft in MC 1.10. Therefore, faced with the pointlessness of its existence, the fourth Mecha Herobrine should suffer an existential crisis and take one damage. Because existential crises like these work on mechanicals. Totally. ... THEY DO! IT'S MY ACTION!

And luckily for Cyndi, she apparently still has power over time and so can be in two places at once and talk to both Spirit and Mikoto at the same time. I just need to write some more of that thing.

@piono: Well, I've already migrated over there, but Timey-Wimey Ball and everything means that plot points that are going to happen here are inevitably going to be spoiled over there. In fact, one such plot point has already been spoiled, and all I've done is just show up on the field!

@Spirit: DEEERRRP!!! I really should have him respond. Doing that now. My bad.

Aarik's stats:

Sigma's Revenge: 97/120 (+2)

[up] Spirit, [up] Consumer, [up] piono
Alpha chuckles at what the Guardian tells him, feeling much better now.

I suppose that's true. I'm just kicking myself for not being able to do anything else. He made me watch, you know. He made it so that I had to see what he was doing to everyone. It's a fate I don't want to wish on anyone else. Not even him. Heh. I guess I'm just too forgiving. Maybe I should be more like him... Anyways, thank you. For everything. And, uh, sorry about the eye. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't like the idea any more than you did.
Delta places a hand on Gamma's shoulder.

You still never really answered his question. What is the exact yield of your missiles?

You really want to know?

Delta shakes his head, to which Gamma does his best at mimicking a sigh.

About a Mettaton.

Everyone stops what they're doing to glare at Gamma as he snickers. Aarik is the first to speak up.

You'd better hope to whatever god you pray to that that's an actual measurement, because if not, I'm going to do some things to you that I can't say out loud because there may be children listening in, and I don't want that nice voice in the sky to hit me with a lightning bolt because of that.

Gamma just rolls on the floor, laughing.

N-nope! Ohh, Progenitor, that was hard, keeping a straight voice! Whew. Okay, in all seriousness, my missiles are nowhere near that powerful, but they are more powerful than a single nuke. I'd say that one could wipe out a couple of cities. Two, definitely. Maybe three, depending on how close that third one is. I've never been good with calculating that much. Again, I never want to be able to use it.
Aarik aims his Nukem down the sights, pointing it directly at the last Mecha Herobrine.

Fire in the hole!

When he fires the rocket, the rocket flies true, jetting towards the Mecha Herobrine. When it hits, the missile creates a rather large explosion, encompassing a good quarter of the field.

He then turns to Hunter, about to protest, when the screaming finally gets to him. He drops his weapon, clutching the sides of his head.

No... no... Don't let him out... Don't let him out... Don't let him out don't let him out don't let him out don't let him out...
Action Summary:

Aarik attacks a Mecha Herobrine, which would normally deal a whopping 23,100 damage, but will probably only do 1 because it's annoying like that, and deals 10,500 damage to anything near it (e.g.: anything giving it buffs/defending it or are attacking it). He then suffers what appears to be a mental breakdown. note  Everyone else guards.

[nja]Anti Ninja

Speed and Fira casts a Flame Barrier on the Guardian, preventing 3000 damage dealt to it this turn. Hunter switches back to Justice and Retribution, and reloads.

D 4 C attacks a Mecha Zombie for 7000. Then, Infinity summons Whitesnake  (Okay, I don't really get it, so I'll delay it for the turn.)

Speed and Fira does an all out assault at the Fourth Mecha Herobrine. The Fourth Mrcha Herobrine takes 1 damage. Hunter then uses Bullet Dance and destroys the Mecha Zombie. Herobrine dodges the rest of the bullets.

(Piono: Yeah. No. You don't get free stuff out of nowhere. It's in my sig. Also part of the reason I don't like the idea of a creativity modifier on attacks, though I prefer to use it only to even out ugly numbers or prevent awkward 5000 HP boss turns. Not only that, it generally doesn't affect maths much as I don't give more than 50%, and it only serves to skew the Emblem drops. And the Zombie's dead anyway.) John Egbert drops his hammer straight to the zombie. The Zombie, finishing it's dead remains.

Kathryn, pissed off at Hubter Bullet Dancing near her, decides to attack Hunter with the power of the 3000th post, and crits. She breaks through the barrier and does 7000 damage to Hunter directly, ignoring Justice's barrier.

Shadow shoots at the dead Mecha Zombie. He gains an Alchemy point and style point for desecrating the Zombie's corpse. Sacred tries to heal the (remaining) Portlight Crew members, Galvix also helps. Neodyme and Fury teams up to shoot a heat-seeking missile at the Herobrine, but misses.

Walrus and the Girls rushes to attack the dead Mecha Zombie. Is brutalizing the undead's corpse a theme here? I just don't get people... Free crit rewarded for failed attack.

Talist tries to point out that the Herobrine is always removed at every Minecraft update. The Herobrine points out that the Herobrine always returns at every Minecraft update, which caused him to be deleted every time. The Herobrine always returns, people.

Jindra attacks the Godmodder with lightning balls, which he tosses back at Jindra, creating a mini ping-pong game. This will require two people to bounce back. And no, the Aspects can't join. Jindra's summons attacks the Herobrine, and does 1 damage to it with the power of teamwork.

Aarik attacks the Mecha Herobrine, and despite thinking that it will deal 1 damage, it does 0 instead. Aka dodged. Every armor blocks. Then, having a mental breakdown increases Aarik's luck by one.

End of turn:

The Godmodder attacks the Vault Door for 100000 damage.

The Mecha Herobrine attacks the Stag, Hunter, Ira, and the Heavenbringer for 15000 each. Ira is wounded.

Amaria and Ira tries to attack the Godmodder, but is both held back.

Amaria casts Angelic Gift on Ira, granting her a Health barrier and increasing her power.

The usual stuff happens.

  • 1 to jindra, alpha and infinity

hehehe. i've got an idea.

Sanford, Hank and John confront the Mecha Herobrine. John readies his hammer, Sanford twirls his fish hook a few times. And then the Mecha Herobrine is encased in an energy field from behind. Deimos waves from his position over by Eric, then puts his sniper away, leaning back nonchalantly.

The energy field collapses in on itself, condensing inwards, but leaving the Mecha Herobrine incapacitated, and the trio jump forward. Sanford fish-hooks the Mech's head, causing it to lurch forward, John rushes into it and smashes his hammer into the Mecha Herobrine's face, launching it upwards, and sending Sanford upwards onto the Mecha Herobrine as the string on the fish hook pulls tight.

The Mecha Herobrine lands on it's feet, but that's when Sanford pulls it off its feet going out behind it and yanks it backwards, activates his rocket boots (hooray for the random arsenal of assorted crap that the IUPC has lying around in storage!) and pulls the Mecha Herobrine along on the ground. Hank's line of explosives is waiting, as is Hank, jumps on top of the Mecha Herobrine as explosion after explosion goes off underneath the Mecha Herobrine as earth and dirt grinds underneath it, and Hank cuts away at the joint connecting the Mecha Herobrine's head to it's body.

Finally, the combined stress from Sanford pulling the Mecha Herobrine along the ground across landmines and Hank hacking away at the metal makes it give way, the head pops off, lands on one final land mine, and launches up in the air, disconnecting from Sanford's fish hook. Everyone can see that the repeated explosions and grinding tore open a large hole in the 'face' of the Mecha Herobrine. Actually, come to think of it, thanks to the cubical shape of it, it looks sort of like a box now...

John comes screaming down from the heavens, holding not his hammer, but something else, it's small and brown, but at the speeds he's moving, and with how far away he is, it's hard to make out. i said, put the bunny.

He stops in midair, catching the whirling Mecha Herobrine head. The object in his hand is now visible. It is a stuffed bunny with a highly dangerous mini-nuke strapped to it. back in the BOX!!!

John slams the bunny into the "box" and throws the Mecha Herobrine's head off into the distance. There is a distant twinkle in the sky as the mini-nuke goes off, completely obliterating the head of the Mecha Herobrine.

now why couldn't he put the bunny back in the box?

In addition to (hopefully) dealing damage, the Mecha Herobrine is now headless, leaving it open to the next attack targeting it. One more attack should be enough to finish it off. Time to deal with Richie.

Too tired to do flavor text and the like, but:

  • Solar pistol-whips the now headless Mecha Herobrine with their flare gun. I'm going to assume this doesn't count as a use, but if it does, they also fire it down the thing's stump-head.
  • Providence uses Godseye. (That targets all PG entities, unless I'm remembering incorrectly.)
  • The Umbra of Providence attacks the Godmodder directly. At the very least, that's going to be a hinderance.
  • The Greens attack the Mecha Herobrine or, failing that, the next PG entity on the field if there's another. Or the Godmodder, that works too.

[RP AND ATTACKS]

Kathryn tries to see if she can repair the Shiny Sword by mixing light and darkness energy, before channeling the amazing power of bad writing. The sword radiates more edginess, and more bad fanfiction, but it also gains durability. Hopefully. She doesn't have any solid materials to repair it with, so if she continues to craft that, eventually, it will be all bad fanfiction incarnate, which would also mean that there would be nothing to hold the fanfiction energy, which would mean that it would dissipate into thin air.

The Light and Darkness energy also forms into two elementals under Kathryn's control. These two elements attempt to attack the Mecha Herobrine.

That's okay, I don't understand me either at times.

And with that, I'll take my leave. Good luck.

Time to do something that I don't think has been done to the Godmodder yet.

Okay, so there's one target. Which means... I shall not miss! HIGH VOLTAGE!

I pull out a gun that shoots ducks (actual living ducks, not the rubber kind) and fire it at the Godmodder, while D4C uses High Voltage on something (which will probably end up being the Godmodder, since I have doubts that the Mecha Herobrine will survive long enough to be hit by High Voltage this turn.) The girls attack the Mecha Herobrine one more time, a flurry of swords and guns. Meanwhile, I go with one of my favorite moves: ramming something at high speed.

Hey Godmodder! I GOT MY CAR AGAIN!!!!

I try and hit the Godmodder with the '68 Malibu bet you forgot about that one once more, because why not at this point.

@walrus and everyone who posts after this: change your target to the Godmodder. We have three attacks aimed at the thing, and we have two that should almost certainly hit (all three if my stun goes through), we don't need another corpse-targeting fiasco. Target the Godmodder please.

The robot grabs another one of the Mecha-Zombies. However, before throwing this one, he straps on a proximity mine set to explode once it is within arm's reach of something alive. The robot then hurls the mecha-zombie towards the godmodder.

In my mind this is closer to Grievous Harm with a Body towards the godmodder than an attack towards the zombie.

63/120 Hint: Will probably be used in some attempt to farther my plot.

@Piono (Reboot Time Frame): Eh... DTG 0 will probably take a really long time. But at the same time, a longer delay means more time to formulate ideas for the reboot, so... either way really.

For RP, I'll reply to Spirit first so that it makes more sense. Then Piono.

Kai tilts her head and watches Spirit's hand curiously, occasionally sniffing the air. When Spirit is done, she takes a step forward and paws at the ground.

That actually looked sorta neat. Was it some... some kind of recycling?

She takes another step forward and starts sifting through the dirt, looking for the differently colored soil.

The Blank Book was my second ever entity and it had a system of pages. Players could add pages to it and each page was one potential attack. Players could attack through the book and it also lost pages from damage instead of health. So, people were adding so many pages per turn it became effectively immortal.

There are things in our brains called 'mirror neurons' and they help us empathize with things similar to us. You know, for supporting social groups. Then there's also the Mere-Exposure Effect, which just says that people like things more after being exposed to it more often. Sorry, but I've studied this kind of thing in Psychology.

Kai actually looks somewhat surprised.

Well... yeah... of course. You're really nice. You're always looking out for other people, and that's really sweet of you. And now I need to wonder why people haven't pointed that out to you already...

((I think this is during the flight? Maybe?))

Ah... no, it's fine. But thank you all... for your concern.

On the ground, she smiles slightly to the Guardian.

Well you're the first flying snake I've ever seen. And of course, the biggest. Biggest snake, that is. But... uh... you don't need to make that big of a deal about my fear. I'll be okay, really.

Kai nuzzles her head against Spirit's hand and doesn't seem that bothered.

Well I imagine I did look sorta funny. So you can joke about that. Plus... if you could compare me to cotton candy, I must have looked cute.

Hearing Fury and Neo, Kai giggles while looking between them.

Heh... I'm sorry I opened up such a heated debate over the permanency of hair styles. Sweet Spirit? I don't suppose you happened to compare Fury to cotton candy, did you?

Cyndi stops and turns to look back at Spirit.

Hm? ... That would make sense. I remember blacking out... then coming to here. ... I must have thought it was necessary... ... And to be more exact... it's anterograde amnesia. ... I can't make... any new long term memories while like that. ... So yes... I remember speaking to you.

She follows Spirit's pointing and sees Kai across the water, seeming to slightly change her position so that Spirit would be more between her and Wilson. Then hearing their apology, she sighs, her eyes almost closing out of exhaustion.

Um... ... I think I can understand why you... felt that way. ... I... sure. I can... forgive you... I didn't really know much... of what I was doing either. So it's... fine... ... And I don't know why... she would want to thank me. ... I'm not much of a... musician. ... I was going to be, as you know... but I'm not. ... So I did not... teach her anything, as far as I know.

She glances back over at Kai lying on the lake shore, but still takes a few steps backwards.

You are referring to that place... by the lake, right? ... Maybe I will... return later... But right now...

She pauses for a moment, blinking slowly.

It wouldn't... be good to be around it...

She sounded deliberately detached, and picking up on this, Wilson asks carefully,

Is there something wrong with where we are now? Apart from you know, the fighting?

And he gets a response in the same tired detached tone.

No... It's not anything about this place. ... It's... just my mistakes. ... But I'm sorry... I think I am at risk of... passing out...

Well, that's... vague. But if you insist... bye...

Not seeing any particular harm in it, Wilson shows the bracer to Spirit.

I'm not sure I've seen Neo. ... But is that short for Neodyme perhaps?

The only reason he knew that was because of briefings he had before arriving here. He looks inside the wire compartment again.

However... It looks like most of the wires have been broken, which means trying to fix it would be basically guessing. ... Hm...

His little 'pointer' claw clicking against the plastic, he manages to single out a little green square.

Unless... I don't know... Neo can read the encoding on the microchips or something?

He looks up from it again.

... I think she'll be back. Pretty soon, actually...

Then he starts muttering under his breath.

And I don't think I've quite reached my happy ending. The plot still has more for me...

Now for Cynder's super long segment of talking to Mikoto.

Cyndi was feeling a little less exhausted after resting for a while, so she felt like she could get through this conversation with Mikoto, then surrender herself to sleep.

So… What do you want to say? And what’s wrong with you? You’re wounded, aren’t you?

Judging from his inflections, Cyndi thought he was in a reasonably good mood. Well, good isn’t the correct word. Understanding might be more accurate. But regardless, she took it as a chance to push her luck by being more direct than usual.

You’ve... told me to find and kill Wilson. Inari lost track of him... sometime near the end of the Second Godmodding War... but we are extremely lucky because I saw him. He’s here, a couple hundred meters away from me, in fact.

Cyndi couldn’t tell any difference in Mikoto’s tone.

… And? I’m assuming this excuse you’re about to tell me is related to your wounds.

Cyndi knew she could share memories through this telepathic link, and over time had learned how to control it a little. Still, even with evidence to back up her excuse, she was nervous.

I was fighting against the Godmodder all out. I don’t remember it, but I must have been. ... You told me to build trust if possible, so I did. Wilson... must have arrived just after I got downed. And I think he tried to help me up. Once I recognized... that it was Wilson, I attacked him.

As she says this, she shows Mikoto her own memory of fighting the Deicide, blacking out, then fighting Wilson and getting defeated, albeit cropped conveniently.

Honestly, it was... terrible timing, but I fought him anyway. And I lost. I know I... was not at my strongest, but that would not have helped. He had... these really weird things called friends, so it was three against one.

I am fully aware of what a friend is. Please do not toy with me.

Cyndi suddenly stops, taken aback.

   … … I’m sorry.

Mikoto was completely silent, so silent in fact that Cyndi started to think that he cut off his side of the communications in order to prove a point. If that was the case, she should feign being more intimidated than she really was. Becoming keenly aware that she was talking to someone who wasn’t physically anywhere near her, she timidly called out to the open sky,

So… I was thinking… I do not think that Wilson recognized me because he did not refer to me as Willow. … So… um…

Now for the moment of truth. She had to be direct enough to get her suggestion across, but not so direct that Mikoto would think she was trying to control him.

If he doesn’t know me… then maybe we can be less forceful? He wouldn’t… have any particular reason to fight me… And I think I could convincingly tell him I was mistaken in attacking him…

There was still complete silence from Mikoto. That was more unnerving to her than any kind of fight, even though she thought that was Mikoto's whole goal. Still, she tried to feign more fear than she felt.

Uh… Can you still... hear me?

Stuttering slightly, Mikoto’s voice returns quickly, seemingly flustered.

Y-yes, I still c-can. Please just tell me whatever you’re going to say.

There was still something strange about Mikoto’s voice. It seemed forced and somewhat hoarse. Knowing that she was actually talking to someone, Cyndi felt somewhat relieved, but still nervous.

Okay… thank you. So… because Wilson doesn’t recognize me, I could… try to be his friend?

There was another bout of silence from Mikoto.

Because if he eventually trusts me… maybe I can... catch him alone? Then it would be... one against one and I’d have the first hit…

Still, Mikoto stayed silent.

… Do I have... your permission to try?

Cornered with a direct question, Mikoto suddenly replied in the same stuttering fashion.

W- … yes. D-do what you think is necessary for us both. I h-had a similar idea, actually.

Cyndi was shocked. He had just straight up accepted it, no compromises or objections. However, she managed to keep her emotions in line and tried to sound genuinely thankful.

   Okay... thank you again.

However, she ended up sounding more sarcastic than genuine. She would just have to hope he didn't pick up on that.

… Um… In that case, I should... probably get some rest before heading back and ta-

Actually, wait.

Cyndi stopped completely, waiting for Mikoto to continue.

In the memory… are you really still afraid of drowning like that?

Now it was Cynder’s turn to not respond. But eventually, she confessed sheepishly.

   ... Yes... I am.

Mikoto didn’t seem surprised.

And are you reasonably close to that lake from the memory?

   Um… yes?

She didn’t like where this was going, and her fears were quickly confirmed by Mikoto’s continued flat tone.

Then please go get a bottle of silt from it.

Wh-why? Why do you need silt?

I don’t. You need to get the silt. The technical term is systemic desensitization. You have an irrational fear of drowning, even though you suffer no ill effects from water. The only reason you haven’t learned how to swim is because you’re too afraid of drowning. So, the fear propagates itself. You're causing your own fear. And I’ll help you break that cycle by asking you to get me some silt from the lake. Getting silt shouldn’t require you to go past wading level, so that’s a good start.

He explained, flatly. Rationally, Cyndi knew that water had no effect on ender dragons and that swimming should actually be fairly easy for her thanks to her wings, but she still cringed at the thought of actually swimming in water deep enough to kill her.

Does that mean once I get you the silt, you’ll order me to get something else from the lake?

Mikoto’s tone took on a hint of… would it be playfulness?

Of course. And it will require you to go deeper, because that’s the whole point of desensitization. How about this? If you get me the silt, I’ll tell you a little story about myself.

   That’s… kinda patronizing…

But to be honest, it had peaked her curiosity. She didn’t know much about Mikoto beyond the fact that he was some kind of moon demigod and was responsible for some of her abilities. But at the same time, she wasn’t sure she could believe whatever he had to say.

It’s your choice, but I’d urge you to follow the request, even without the story. You don’t want to be terrified of water forever, do you? And this doesn’t even require you to sw-

He suddenly cut off again in the middle of his sentence. After waiting a few seconds with no reply, Cynder asked,

Is… everything okay? Is something wrong with the link?

It took him a few seconds, but Mikoto managed to stutter a reply.

N-no. I’m fine, it’s j-just an unrelated responsibility. Worry- … … worry about yourself. I’ll speak to you later. Good bye.

And with that, he hastily cut off the link, leaving Cyndi truly alone under the tree. After waiting five minutes to make sure he had actually left, Cyndi sighed in relief. That had gone incredibly well for her, apart from the silt thing. She had basically gotten permission to rules lawyer her way into doing whatever she wanted. And Mikoto had been acting somewhat strange, so maybe she managed to catch him in the middle of something and he didn’t want to deal with her. As she put her head down, she also noticed that her wounds felt a bit better, which must have been from Mikoto. … Actually, things had gone so well recently that she started to suspect that she had been outplayed, and the terrifying thing was that she couldn’t tell how. However, quickly running out of what reserves of energy she had left, she puts her worries aside and fell asleep. She had actually been outplayed, not by Mikoto, but by herself.

((I tried to really emphasize describing tones of voice because I can't describe anything to do with body language. I think it worked out fairly well.))

Kai, not quite able to see well through the glasses, looks up at Spirit with the bandanna.

Uh... okay. If you think it's best...

Resigning herself to being the model for the new hit game 'Littlest Pet Shop Arctic Wolf Dress Up', she tilts her head up to let Spirit tie on the bandanna. After that, not much of her face is actually still visible under all the baubles she's gotten and she coughs once.

This feels... unnatural and kinda restricting. But okay. I'll wear it.

Sorry I didn't post last turn, Piono.

On hearing his name, Wilson puts the bracer in his ender pouch and walks over to Eric and Deimos.

Aspects? ... I can't really say either way on that. I don't have enough personal interaction with them to judge, and I don't think I get any help from the Narrative for making judgement calls. I've spoken some to Spirit, who seems nice enough. But that's not enough to go by. Sorry if this isn't very helpful.

Let's see... Wilson is the least occupied right now...

Hey, you're not okay, are you?

Within the span of one dividing line, Wilson had moved over to Aarik. He had put up a heat haze like distortion around his eyes to protect himself, but now needed something for sound.

I... ah... ... How do I block sound? I've never had to do this... But luckily, gravity can be used for so much.

He takes another step towards Aarik, closes his eyes, and starts motioning his paw around in a circular motion pointlessly. After a few moments, the sound of the Green screeching is replaced by harmless wind. He had set up a thin layer of vacuum around Aarik and himself, which blocked all outside sound because of the good old sci-fi principle that nobody can hear you scream in space. AKA: Sound is just vibrations in the air. However, Wilson did not seem like he was having fun while maintaining it.

Gh... Some kind of... proper professional... gah... therapist wouldn't go... unmissed around here... ... And I don't want to suffocate us both... Should last long enough though...

Action: Ugh... I build a new, better vault door. And I hide lots of candy behind it. And put a big blinking light on top of it. With that kind of tech, the Godmodder would have no choice but to attack this other vault door and not the original one. And if he tries to resist, THE BLINKING LIGHT COMPELS HIM TO ATTACK THE DECOY ONE. I mean, it's not a decoy. Attacking it is a perfectly valid use of an action.

Just got back from holiday. Was on plane. No promises I'll finish my post. Just in case...

Action Summary:

Speed throws giant prisms of Amethyst at the Godmodder, then attempts to find Wilson... And Cynder... For reasons known only to him and Acendant Cynder. Yes. The Acendant part is intentional.

Hunter sarcastically apologises to Kathryn, shoves his helmet onto Aarik, starts his Walkman, and gets started in removing the wall. Oh, and he called on the Server Announcer for information again. He fires at the Godmodder accidentally.

For some reason editing doesn't work...

Piono's crew combos away at the Fourth Mecha Herobrine, with John slamming the Mech with his hammer while raging about bunnies and boxes. The attack does absolutely no damage because this game is evil and loves to troll. It does stagger the Fourth Mecha Herobrine, though.

Solar whacks the Herobrine with his Flare Gun. 1 damage! The Greens follows but the Herobrine has snapped back, so nope. The Providence and it's Umbra attacks the Godmodder, but is held back.

Kathryn summons the Dark Elemental  and Light Elemental  (1 Charge = ~1000 HP/250 Attack. So your entities are going to be weak if you split a small charge.) Kathryn then attacks the Herobrine with Light and Darkness, and hits because I would like to not give Infinity more Emblems. No offense, you just have too much, Infinity. Disappartion Emblem  dropped.

Magnus rushes at the Godmodder after setting up electricity and wind magic. Yeah. Last time I tried that it didn't end well. I'm starting to get bored of you. The Godmodder whacks Magnus, but fails to wound him because Salvation mechanics.

Infinity shoots ducks at the Godmodder. I think that counts as animal abuse. 1 damage! The D 4 C casts High Voltage on the Godmodder, but is blocked. Whitesnake enters and gives Infinity and the D 4 C a 30000 barrier and Infinity gains 5 Whitesnake Discs.

The Girls attacks the Herobrine to make sure it's dead. Walrus uses his Malibu and crits, dealing 1 damage to the Godmodder.

CJB tries to throw the corpse of the Zombie, but found that it's in no position to be thrown after taking a corpse beating.

Jindra tries to backstab the Godmodder and abandons the Boss Ping Pong. Not playing it fair, eh? The Godmodder counter-backstabs and wounds Jindra.

Talist builds a door to lure in the Godmodder, forcing him to attack that door by using blinking lights and candy. The Godmodder, not being stupid, notices and immediately godmods the door.

Speed throws giant amethysts at the Godmodder, which normally is blocked easily, but with the amount of damage the Godmodder is taking, actually goes through and does 1 damage. Hunter tries to talk to the Server-Announcer but fails to get any response due to the SA being a being beyond the {=3.75th=} wall if that's a thing.

End of turn:

Good job taking out my army. I still have another octillion of them if I wanted to, but that'd just be distasteful.

Now. Enough with the games. I'd be taking what I need now. You thought you had a chance to stop me, right?

Tabbune has respawned.

A Frostbolt quickly strikes the Godmodder as the voice is heard, but is quickly dodged.

The Godmodder snaps his finger. A second passes. The Vault's door breaks. Another second passes. Suddenly, The Godmodder holds the Aghanim Scepter in his hands.

He stands there as he cackles maniacally. Try stopping me now, insects! I'd be waiting! Don't worry. I'll wait for you. The party won't be fun without you punks. As he says it, he starts to disappear, but the teleportation is long enough to land a few attacks on him.

The Portlight Crew tries to do a combination attack, but is stopped with a quick Death Beam.

For those of you who have player-bosses. Now's your chance to start it.
