I go through the portal, and take five charges from earl, before merging my two charges, making it a nice round 150. I then push all of those onto Herobrine, for him to upgrade his mega charge with.

Regenerative Bio-Steel 6/6 might be too late but I'm changing this to Glyph Blade insurance, in the event the hardlight armor is destroyed I get the glyph blade back.

I then toss a tracking device through the portal before flying onto the Laittlecrusier

Victor warp us out of here.

Sir we have a guest, it's Tabbune he's hopping on for some reason.

Just tell him to not wreck anything although he is welcome to help with repairs.

After that I repair the Laittlecrusier as it warps out of the dome and warps right back to where ever the portal leads.

had a bit of an AFK problem on my part, now i am back! and here... we go.

@sacred yeah what piono said, these reapers we are 'fighting' are the standard grim reapers one would fight to avoid being killed, like in dante's inferno. The 'head death' however is pretty much above overdiety level strength, and one of those overdieties could reasonabley take you on and have it be a fair fight without the OP scale. Also a warning: these reapers are pretty much a collection of BA warriors that got killed in action from all over the multiverse who had offers from the head death to become a reaper too.

The infusion didn't even register the attempts to contact her, there was no 'reason' 'logic' or 'higher process' going on at the moment, just raw instinct, anger, and insanity brought on by the death of an immortal. No, it wasn't that the death affected her personally, but rather immortals of her ilk in general, the essence of an immortal was, for lack of a better term, stolen. Confused, and frightened, she registered the attempted contacts as a psychic attack, and the world once again seemed to alter. This time, from a TV screen, with her ducking under the veiw of the camera, and reappearing behind light with a roundhouse kick that... was interrupted by a group of armored soldiers leaping out of a portal, using a disturbingly similr combat style to the infusion, overwhelming her with numbers and dragging her into the portal. One stayed behind for a moment and simply said no need to be alarmed, she paid us to go back in time to stop her from doing this, we're just following orders. Turning back he waved the others through, with the sounds of continued fighting within the portal How could you have let her go you stupid- the portal closed, presumably to open later at the godmodder's location once she calmed down.

... oh hey, Yeah I don't think simply 'breaking me out' is going to do much, there's only one way out for me that doesn't involve being forcibly escorted into the afterlife, and that's through that door. I could PROBABLY get through given some time, but, I'm occupied right now.

Following that, he grinned and stepped forward, several reapers beginning to charge in a staggered line towards the pair. right, more dakka it is. Pieces of machinery began forming in the air around him, combining into several floating cannons, all of them firing in a massive stream of energy towards them, some of them running and hiding, others dying, but one expertly dodging the blasts and rushing up, encouraging others to do so. uhh, right. Following that, a flight suit formed on the mage, then launched him up and back away from the reaper.

these guys aren't that bad.

I'll have the infusion get warped in once something 'interesting' happens, or shortly after.

@Pionoplayer Two things. 1: What exactly is the Blacklister? 2: Will we just be able to summon anything for the upcoming fight in the Pantheon? Do we have to ask you if its okay or something before summoning something?

With the Blacklister in hand Tartar proceeded to give chase after the Godmodder through the portal. Whatever awaited him, Tartar expected the worst.

Using the power of the the two paradox pages I grabbed, I conjure a paradox piano. Then I grab a quadruped-accessible chair, and start playing King Crimson's Court of The Crimson King on it. No, not the song, the whole alblum.

So, you know what guys? I decided that I'm going to throw you guys a lifeline. I can't update tomorrow or Friday, and I don't think I want to do a full update Saturday, but I think I can throw you guys a morsel or two.

In short, you guys will be listed as in transit until Monday, and until then, we'll do a bit of catching you all up on what's been going on in the meantime, let people claim gods and goddesses, and so on.

Let the story post begin.

Oh, but before that can begin... guys, when you try to claim gods, link to their page in the pantheon please so that I can find them. Also, be aware that your god might be handed off to other people dependent on how many other deities you've already laid claim to and whether or not you're meta-gaming with them.

But, of course, because interruptions never come alone…

Q&A: @pastry: Well… can’t say that doesn’t make me a little sad, but I could tell you were sort of becoming disinterested in the game already. It was nice having you pastry. Live long and prosper. @herobrine: Raw creativity was at about what you said, was intended to be a 1000 post charge, and no, you can’t fold it over unless you can find dimentiosome, get him back, and convince him to fold it over. @moge-ko: I understand. Good luck. @paradise: Depends on the god. It’ll make a bit more sense once you hit the fight. Basically it equates to ‘I take control of this deity, since they’re probably in the area, and why the heck not.’ and finding a reason in-character to recruit their aid in taking down the godmodder. @tartar: The Blacklister is a very nasty and upgraded version of the banhammer that the godmodder obtained in the later parts of DTG2. That time stop wouldn’t have even slowed the Blacklister, so no, you do not have the overpowered death weapon. Sorry. and yeah, I think you guys can just summon things as long as I okay it first. That’s mostly how the gods are going to work anyways.

Paradise brutally overkills zbse, but is disappointed to find that the book is completely unusable after the paradox ordeal. Perhaps if all the pages had been gathered before ripping the book apart… Everyone in the pocket dimension discovers that they aren’t getting cell service through the portal, and need to wait. (to translate into gameplay terms, I need links within the pantheon. I never had time to read through the entire thing, and I sure as heck don’t now.) Jondanger jumps through the portal, he is followed by shiny, spino, amp, math, a reappeared armored fury, paradise, coolstar and his army, pillow, herobrine, engie, fseftr, solar, teostra, wyld, tartar and hyena, and then the Laittlecruiser, with everyone on it.

On the ground, dazed, are a few familiar faces. Captain America and Carmen Sandiego. Both of whom seem to have come back looking for you. The godmodder can be seen off in the distance, making a beeline straight for the Main House. Herobrine pulls Sundowner aside, who growls saying he smells a fight, and is done missing out on things because of his lousy contacts and rushes off after the godmodder, shortly followed by Remilia. Similarly, herobrine’s contact is not of much use, as comms seem to be down. Completely. As in pantheon-wide blackout. Worse than what the Glitch did.

Pastry fires several shots after the godmodder, they do nothing, they don’t even come close to him, then turns as the Laittlecruiser flies overhead. The two gods look around, still slightly dazed… Someone finally has the bright idea to suggest asking them questions as to what the heck is going on.

I don't think you guys need a world update just yet, as the fighting hasn't resumed. Feel free to ask the two deities questions about the current situation. You'll be getting your answers Saturday.

...Screw it, Autochthon and the Emperor of Mankind. I have no real knowledge of Autochthon, and haven't read the Horus Heresy, but hey. Also, while my own little god isn't on the Pantheon, I reserve the right to call him in for funsies.

I'd like to summon Saber (The Fate/Stay night one, not the spin-off ones.) Even though I have no chance of getting her right.

I claim either Yamato or Musashi and Yurnero the Juggernaut.

VERY quick question: so does "taking controll" of a god mean that in our posts we control their actions in addition to our own? or what?

edit: so what will actually be going on in the coming fight? Just the godmodder and minions? what exactly are they trying to do? You said we needed an in-character justification.

Also, is this a case of out in-character selves actually going to the gods's temple to recruit them, or do they have noting to do with us and just happen to be fighting the Godmodder also?

Because it would be hilarious if the Godmodder was finally brought down by Glass Joe, of all people. And, considering how his fights usually go, kind of heartwarming too.

I'd say a good limit depends on the power of God.

If it's a greater god or overdeity, no more than one of them. That's an overkill god.

If it's an intermediate, you can have two.

If it's a lesser..... nah. Still two. Prevents Clutter.

So trip for instance. You can have either Jotaro or Goku. Goku is op. If you get Jotaro though, you can get one other intermediate god.

alright, let's do some clarification/book keeping.

I'm going to work on a list of claimed gods, and answer some questions. Yeesh, I'm obsessed with this thing. So much for hiatus.

@jondanger: Okay, you're going to need to choose one of them to drop, but other than that, you're good.

@amp: First, you need to link the gods, like this [[Pantheon/spaceinpantheon nameofgod]]. Additionally, the Emperor of Mankind is an overdeity, I've already said that overdeities, and most of the greater gods, are off-limits.

@hyena: If you have no chance of getting a character right, I'd prefer (not stopping you, but I'd prefer) if you didn't claim them. Also, you didn't link to their spot in the pantheon.

@fury: yamato and musashi and Yurnero claimed.

@paradise: Yes, you get to control their actions as well. What is the oncoming fight? The godmodder managed to finagle the five grand united alliances into one massive free for all in the main house while you guys were gone. Literally the entire pantheon is at war with itself. And it can be either you going up to recruit them directly, or them stumbling into the right place at the right time, and having the godmodder put in their crosshairs.

@herobrine: I suppose you could bring him in, since that Alucard is not (I don't think) in the pantheon. No limitations on him.

@math: Oh shoot... that PM got buried, mind posting them again?

@spino: Almost... you linked to the franchise and not the pantheon... Also, Godzilla is a greater god, and a fairly powerful one too, as long as you're fine with just Godzilla, you can take him.

@earl: Ormagoden is also a greater god, so you'll have to choose between him or Dethklok.

@tabbune: the three vikings successfully claimed.

@tartar: I'm afraid she's an overdeity, sorry dude, no can do.

@trip: Jotaro claimed, Goku denied. He qualifies as an overdeity, and you can bet he's already in Super Saiyan.

@paradise: I think I'm going to ask people to limit it to two, unless you choose a greater god, in which case make it one. I think I'll give you the pikmin and Latios and Latias. Although since he's got a little bit of a connection (even if not the deity), shiny might get dibs on latios and latias if he so chooses.

@herobrine: I like that idea, I think I'll go with two, unless a greater god, in which case one. No overdeities.
