Destroy The Godmodder

As much as it seems like I'm advertising, if you personally know anyone who was previously involved in this game but is not currently player, I would like to have as many of my players, past and present, involved in the finale as possible. Don't do any contacting until the warded sanctuary has ended, and don't go spam-happy or pester people. A single PM will suffice, and if they say no, leave it at that. If they want to ask questions, they can ask me.

That being said, something everyone should know, the final two events will involve the entire pantheon. Anyone that wishes to slip in interaction with any character from the pantheon that isn't an overdeity can do so, provided they ask me first to make sure no one else has already reserved that deity for themself. Don't take a character you can't roleplay as should the need arise, because that would make a few people upset, but other than that, go for it.

So yes, this is my official statement, the finale is coming up. In fact, both of the remaining events are really just two parts to the finale. Anyone who's been watching the thread but wasn't sure how to join in, right after the end of the warded sanctuary would be the perfect time to do so. People jumping in will be okay right up until the game ends.

Strong currents of energy started flowing through the Epochmaker. It was at that point a Pontiac Sunfire from General Motors suddenly was launched at him. In response to this Tartar started creating a temporal loop in the path of the Sunfire. Before it could reach him it suddenly teleported back to the spot where it had been created. And it looped in this area over, and over and over. It was cut off from the regular flow of time. By this time Epochmaker had been filled to the brim with temporal energy, the temporal circuit was bursting with power. In one quick moment Tartar unleashed it all, temporal energies filled the whole room, and everything besides Tartar himself started moving at a crawling pace. "Pitch Black Eternal Abyss - Eternal Damnation of Cognition "

Tartar knew that the Creation Mage with his exceptionally fast reflexes would quickly catch on to the fact that time had slowed for everyone but him, and do something to counteract it. At this point time was therefore the most precious resource he had, the quicker he would be done, the higher the chance of his plan succeeding.

As everyone started moving at a snails pace Tartar started carving Magical Circles around the now listless Creation Mage. The Magical circles weren't created with anything material, but rather embedded into the timestream itself. Overlapping he embedded the fifth circle of Mars, the first circle of the Moon and the seventh circle of the Sun around the space-time coordinates of the Creation Mage. When he was done he initiated the ritual he had set in motion. Converging around the Creation Mage were the full power of the timestream drawn out by the Epochmaker.

As massive amounts of temporal energies surged into the fortress and into the Magical Circles, the deceleration caused by Epochmaker previously stopped and everything started moving normally. But by this point the Creation Mage was hopefully trapped. The circle was in fact a portal to the far flung past (of a few months ago). Tartar had previously witnessed an event of immeasurable power, the Dragon Ascent of Mega Rayquaza which had in one fell swoop annihilated the Grox Battleship, one of the Godmodders own Glitch Anchors. The circle was meant to transport the Creation Mage onto the course of Rayquaza as it made its attack at that moment, and in turn hopefully be anihilated by it.

After about a minute or so the Circle would dissipate and the Creation Mage would be transported back, in any case if there was anything left of him.

Huh, the rate at which I'm gaining charges has really slowed down :/ @Mathlecticism and @Tabbune would it be possible that you could commit as many charges to me as I'm commiting to you two? Since I kinda want this artifact done before the end of the game.

YAY RAMBLING By sunfire, do you mean actively fusing plasma created and directed by magic? Because A; that's perfectly scientifically accurate, B; it makes more sense than saying you're using solar magic directly, and C; it's already canon for my technology. Anachron fusion weapons have all the supernatural effects of sunlight, only more lethal to stuff in general.

Well, guess there just weren't many posts today. @amp: No, sunfire is pretty much purely magical, but it has a similar effect... on everything around it. Basically you could cut holes through quantum armor with the stuff. @laitome: Please be aware that moocow gifted you his heavy lobsters. I went ahead and ‘ported out the three that weren’t busted to finish up everyone’s wishlists but pillow, since crystal (amethyst in case you weren’t paying attention) seems to have disappeared. Also, the laittlecruiser does not have the capability to eat derelict craft, as that ability was not stated to be one that it had. @earl: Alright then, we’ll see how that goes then. @tartar: You know, you could just cut the charge short and do it now. At this point, I’m paying more attention to flavor text than charge time anyways.

@everyone: alrighty, here’s another challenge, that’ll probably be more difficult than the last one. Who thinks they can figure out what’s up with the Headmaster? Also, when are people going to realize that the fight in the core would be a good time to use some limit breaks? I thought I said that that’s what they’re for...

Pastry shoots the shattered corpse of the terror bunny. Just in case.

Shiny looks through the vulture gunship’s manual, figures out how to fly, and notices flashes of energy popping up on the gunship’s display. He follows the after-effects of these flares, and flies his way through a series of collapsing hallways and airvents, followed closely by his heavy lobsters, and comes out with a somehow completely intact vulture gunship and two heavy lobsters in equal states of near complete okayness, hovering in the air around the core of the warded sanctuary.

While the magi are distracted by the sudden arrival of a heavily armed gunship, zbse sends out paradox pulses, snapping a massive number of strings through the kritz provided by jondanger. The Headmaster dives at zbse, and suddenly the room warps around him and he finds the very floor trying to crush him into itself, but the core seems to be fluctuating. A form within can be vaguely seen. Zbse is quickly saved by a stream of custom-fire shots from jondanger’s heavy lobsters distracting the headmaster.

Engie charges at the Headmaster, who, without even turning around to acknowledge the threat, brings to bear a massive hammer. This, under normal circumstances, would not even slow engie. These are not normal circumstances. Engie goes straight through the walkway and down into the abyss below. Now what makes you think that Trip? Coolstar surrounds himself with a batch bubble, almost completely ignored by the powerful magi all around.

A voice shakes the chamber. Well noticed narrator.    You seem to have an ability for noticing things others do not.    Even if you have an annoying way of doing it.    But we have more important things to do than enjoy a happily ever after.    Such as defend his little brother. The creation mage gestures, showing that she is referring to the Headmaster as the little brother.    Family comes before all else.    So leave.    You have no right here.    And cleaning up will be hard enough    Without you interfering.    ...I didn’t even have to do anything.

Jindra scatters grenades at the magi, but the destruction magi, wary of anything sent in their direction, blasts them all with bolts of destructive energy. The creation mage raises a barrier to protect the destruction mage from Remilia’s shots. Fseftr begins destroying the walkways. The creation mage is already flying, the destruction mage soon gains a pair of black dragon wings to compliment the creation mage’s, and the godmodder and Headmaster just begin levitating. Wyld and his infusion join the fight in time to watch as all the walkways leading inwards are blown out by fseftr.

Tartar freezes time with the epochmaker once more… only to discover that the creation mage was watching for it this time. The creation mage slows just barely, and tartar shoots into overtime and barely catches the creation mage in his spell before the creation mage hits him with the sunfire, redirected back at him from the redirect by tartar. Tartar drops to the ground, and looks up in dismay as the creation mage reappears completely unharmed, and now covered in an armor of pure creation energy.

The destruction and creation mage rise into the air together as the Headmaster lingers back trying to recover from his attacks, and a massive golden wyvern springs into being out of the magical core at the center of the room, and swoops around the room blasting raw destruction energy in every direction, with small spirals of energy creation blasts of destruction shooting out of it as it goes along, and shooting in every direction if it is destroyed. (everyone has to block this attack individually)

The godmodder zooms forward, smashing one of shiny's heavy lobsters into Sundowner before he gets to do anything, before turning around. This is for sicking that Notch-awful narrator voice on us. He slams the banhammer into coolstar, launching him across the room, shattering the fill tool gun, and sending the Batch Blade tumbling downwards before it gets caught in one of the strings of magical energy and dissipates.

And then Dimentio's signature whoosh-bling is heard. A few people turn around to see Dimentio standing in one of the upper corners, looking very pleased with himself. I see you are all doing very well. Do not worry, I dealt with the disagreeable gentleman from the last room. The godmodder scowls up at him. Are you here to cause more trouble Dimentio!? Dimentio bows. Oh, no. Well, I suppose that that is a lie. I am indeed here to cause trouble. But not the directed kind that gives everyone a bad day. I'm just here to cause the general mischief one generates to alleviate boredom.

Don't you have a pantheon-wide brawl to attend to? Dimentio yawns very melodramatically. I thought that since you were the one behind it, where ever was closer to you would be more interesting. I daresay that I was right. Are you going to help or not? Oh no, I already said I wouldn't attack them. Then why the gorilla are you here? Oh, I'll just watch. Maybe throw in a little magic of my own to spice things up.

Who is this man?    This dark jester.    He echoes with dangerous power.    Why does a member of the Dark Carnival hail in the sanctuary of my brother?    Dimentio springs up with glee. Oh joy! I feared I would be unable to give my spiel! He floats down to the middle of the room, everyone watching him, and with a great deal of flourishing and dramatic gestures, he gives his monologue;

Master of dimensions, pleaser of crowds, perpetuater of majjyks, wielder of the darkest art, creator of his own line of cologne, bane of light, king of the dark jesters, prince of the Dark Carnival, I am, Dimentio. It is much longer than I remember it being. I am quite certain you made at least half of those up. Dimentio chuckles. But you will never know which half! He then floats back up to his corner and alights on the same upper walkway as before, and waves everyone along. Continue with your fight, I'm finished for now.

Laitome charges through the combatants, absorbing weapons, armor, and such into his armor, making him into a giant hardlight/metal construct more than a match for the marines and psykers on board, since they can’t really unleash the vehicles on him. The Laittlecruiser begins punching the imperial destroyer, causing massive flares in its shields, it’s tractor beam having smashed up the last of the strike craft.

Amp fires a few rounds at the destroyer. There’s no way that could possibly… Laitome leaps backwards right before one of the rounds, empowered by one of the overdeities of tvtropes, punches straight through the entire ship. Somehow not hitting any critical systems, but scaring the heck out of everyone inside as the shields suddenly take a massive hit, and points of 0 integrity begin cropping up on the destroyer’s armor, and then the shields begin dropping even further as math’s attack and the continued pummeling from the Laittlecruiser continue to beat away at the shields. Pillow considers his options in preparation for his limit break.

oh, i didn't notice that. Just so you know now coolstar, my infusion will forever have a grudge against you and your narrator voice. in fact... Can I 'slay' the narrator voice by draining it with my infusion? I'm planning on the infusion getting a temporary 'range' increase on what it can and can't drain of power. Like, in my head it comes in stages. Magic is the easiest to drain, its 'raw energy' and shouldn't exist in the first place. Followed by the 'power' of reality warpers, and things like engie, then moving on to 'raw' energies like heat, light, and more abstract concepts like luck. Finally onto things like the kinetic energy of things in the world, and anything else that's 'real' that i missed. Finally comes life itself.

I've also noticed that most of the veterans from the beginning of the thread sort of disappeared, Ichigo, armored fury, jondanger, trollort all seem to have vanished.

I turn the radio in my gunship all the way up. I also put in earplugs.

I may have joined with the intent to just mess around, but I'm really looking forward to everything in the endgame now. Also, I hope to get involved with the other "main" DTG games when they come out. I still have a lot of things planned for my character and "The Hospital," and there is no way I can get them in by the endgame of this session.

I try and use the remains of the terror bunny and forge into into Terror Bunny Armor.

Moge-Ko was suddenly aware of three very important things. The first was that she was no-longer talking with that funny Gilgamesh guy about his weapons in that weird void rift. The second was that she was somewhere very new and unfamiliar. The last thing which became very quickly apparent was that she was in danger here.

Something was horribly amiss with this world, and drawing her wicked curved dagger, Moge-Ko began to focus on the situation at hand, as well as look for things to stab. The devastation around was readily apparent but the question now was... who was friend and who was foe?

Damnit, I missed a round.

"Oi vey...."

Sighing after bouncing off the field, I zip over to the Laittlecruiser. Landing on one of the elbows, I clone myself to where there are twenty of me on each elbow. As the cruiser punches, I look the opposite way and eject blue-bell jet flames from my mouth, giving each punch the added force of twenty aricraft turbines.

I also play an epic song, to increase the crit chance of everyone in the hangar.

Except the bad guys. That would be dumb.

@moge-kom-m-m-m-m-MOGE-KO? You were literally the scariest/creepiest villain I've EVER seen in a game. I love you.

As the wave of destruction washes over the pair, the mage begins covering himself with some sort of magiteck power armor before being washed in the breath of wyvern.

The infusion on the other hand face tanks the blast, leaving the area behind her pretty much melted, a cartoon like 'shadow' where the blast hit her instead of the... well everything else. With the mage now obscured in dramatic smoke, she looked in his direction somewhat curiously, as the smoke dissipated, revealing what can be described as a currently gunless red super turret[spoiler: okay, the 'mobile' fort can't really move, due to the nature of magiteck i can pretty much upgrade it our change it in MOST any way, but for the sake of what should happen in a few rounds, mobility isn't going to be the strong suit of this thing. it's essentially indestructible and has massive fire power.]]

Deep within the suit, in a small set of nearly skin tight red magiteck armor, he was in a T-shape within it, arms attatcked to control slots to mentally control the suit, and feet equally 'tied down' via a connection with the battle fort.

... wow that is pretty impressive, almost makes me wish I could do that myself.

oh please, a little studying and you should find a way to harness all that power you keep absorbing. With a pause, the battle fortress shifted slightly towards the 'miniboss squad' in front of him. now then, mister headmaster and Company, Lets see you take me down now, this suit and its armor are nigh indestructible! and even if you could get past it all, I'm still an immortal, you've already lost. You are outnumbered, surrounded, and as of the arrival of the gunship and me, outgunned.

A crackling charge spreads across the suit, as 'slots' reveal themselves and begin firing rather standard arcane missiles in a huge swarm at the enemies in the core.

The infusion grins and begins walking towards the group with a fearlessly menacing terminator-esque walk. you don't stand a chance.

Herobrine's music struck Moge-Ko right away. Got her foot tapping... and something about it resonated with her. Felt... right. Perhaps this was where she would find her second chance. She just hoped it wouldn't end unfortunately short.

@wyld: I'd noticed that too... which is why I'm kinda hoping some of them will come back, because it'll be rather disappointing if half of the major players from this game aren't even involved in the finale.

@moge-ko: Welcome! The answer is, the cretion mage, destruction mage, Headmaster and godmodder are the foes, everyone else is on your team. Probably. From wyld's statement, I'm guessing you're well known in the roleplay side of the forum?

@jondanger: No, the destruction mage's brother. The godmodder has no living relatives of any kind. Funny ain't it, usually the orphans are sweet and lovable. Not this son of a gun.

I think its set for a little trump. I drop down under the blasts, and with a gesture call up a magic circle that starts to pull in all the loose magical energy in the room. Aligning it with the Creation Mage "Starlight. Breaker." This is PROBABLY my limit break

With little else to go on, I charge into the sanctuary, don ear protection and set up a surround sound system broadcasting a combination of a Brown Note and Justin Bieber's "Baby" in hopes of provoking a reaction from that odd disembodied voice and/or the Godmodder.

While waiting for any effects, I look around for any pages and/or pillars that I can knock on an enemy's head. Best to keep alert.

@Piono: Thanks for the welcome. Small shock, that. I'm actually new to the whole forum thing here. I guess he's reacting more to the character I portray than me myself. I am a fairly experienced roleplayer though and a long time lurker of the tropes. Weird, innin it?
