@piono Are the strike craft peppering the Laittlecrusier automated drones or manned fighters? Also is the imperial destroyer's shield a bubble shield or a surface shield? I'm gonna be trying to absorb more stuff to buff the armor just so you know.
@shadow the hole cold-blooded maiming definitely crossed many lines, but there was no way for us to know that would happen which is why I'm kinda indifferent about this whole thing. Overall I would say be a bit more careful with your attacks, last thing we need is a civil war during an already 3-sided battle, soon to be 4.

Meanwhile in the fortress
Ok there's enough scrap here. Let's do this.
Then I hit a button on the glyph blade.
Hardlight conversion process beginning.
Suddenly the Glyph Blade opens up and turns into a chestpiece which I immediately put on. Cloaking I run into the greatest density of scrap metal and discard weapons and stand in the middle of it. With a flash of light, the chest piece begins to attract any metallic debris in the hanger and converts them into hardlight generators and refined into dense plates. When the light subsides, I am suddenly gone...
Meanwhile on the Laittlecrusier
Sir, We've picked up Laitome he's on his way to the bridge.
Good we're losing this fight.
Hey Victor! Nice job turning the ship into transformer.
Hardlight Armor complete.
It wasn't me.
Really! So it was the narrator voice... Anyway hit the defensive matrix and focus fire on that destroyer. Just poke a hole through it's shield and make sure it stays there.
The Laittlecrusier activates the defense matrix and begins to focus all of it's fire-power on a single point of the shield. The same bit Math is trying to breakthrough
I move to the ships escape hatch and cloak as it opens. Flying out I maneuver past the swarm of strike craft using the cloaking device to my advantage. When the shield of the destroyer breaks, I fly into the opening with math and use a hard-light drill to drill my way into it. If the drill fails I use a hardlight fighter plane going at mach 4 to break a hole into the destroyer.

Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.The Druid was crazy, you say? Well, perhaps, if he'd seen the Sacred Spirit, AKA the Aspect of Nature, AKA the Will of the Forest, he may have stood down. And the reason I started shooting the Emerald Nova at the Mages in the beginning was because I thought they'd already beed aggro'd by everyone else killing the first Mage wave. I tried to use the Psychic Paper, didn't I? I didn't want to hurt anyone. I wasn't like the others who rushed in all guns blazing. I tried Diplomacy. That's more than I can say about Engie or the rest of the 'maim first, gloat later' club. And now the senseless elimination of an already captured, neutralized enemy, and what can only be described as the cold-blooded murder of the heartbroken Spellweaver, combined with basically launching what amounts to the much-hyped Big Bad of Wyld's story arc into a celestial body, thus ruining Piono's plans, has made up my mind. You guys need to clean up your act, or I'm going to take a leave of absence. Keep in mind that Shadow wields the Emerald fracking Nova, the second strongest Artifact intact at this point in the game. If I leave, the results would be, at the least, inconvenient, and, at the most, catastrophic. Now, I'm going to calm myself down. I hope you guys made it to the end of this and took it to heart.

I spam elements in multiple directions.

Welcome to my special hell.Okay, normally I don't care at all for the OOC arguments, but I have one main button, which is coercion. I have no real opinion on the senseless murders, though do note I said senseless. They probably could've been avoided, and it would've been preferable, but here's the thing, who cares? This is a forum game, and I don't know if you've noticed, but we're a right little group of sociopaths here. Now, moving on to the throwing of the arch summoner into the sun. How is that even something you're upset about? Piono didn't tell us it was going to be an epic triple boss fight or whatever, as far as I can tell, and even if he did, the Arch Summoner was a valid target and clearly a guilty party. But obviously, an appropriate reaction to this is OOC coercion of the other players to behave more morally, in, I repeat, a forum game. You can be as moral as you want, I highly doubt anyone will coerce you into being less so, but how morally other players behave is an IC matter, not an OOC one. If you want to threaten to leave IC because of this, go right ahead, but don't expect anyone to change any of their IC stuff because of what you say on this matter OOC. One last thing, I'm pretty certain that's not how artifacts work, at least not those four.

I pull out a blue syringe.
"The cure for Blacklight, huh..."
I inject myself with it, pulling out my laser rifle, while also beginning to radio in for a certain...special project.
Special Project: 1/20
Tartar could hear the communication that flowed through the hivemind of the Trope Army (That's us, I guess?), and the troubling thoughts that flowed through the network. After murdering humanoids, creatures, software and ideas by the thousands, people suddenly started having second thoughts in regards to defeating the mages that stood between the Army and the Godmodder. Tartar found such thoughts meaningless, everyone had already crossed The Moral Event Horizon. It was too late to turn back now, the Godmodder had to be stopped, lest damnation would fall upon all. Any casualties were trifling in comparison to what would happen were they to fail.
With unshakable resolve Tartar continued the fight. And at just that moment the power of The Charge that he had been channeling had finished its long casting time. [[blue: " Limiti Esterni!"
- Transducer Terminalnote 55/55... Hmmm 55 charges... Aaaaaand they're gone.
A surge of power filled Tartar's whole body as The Charge manifested through him and rippled through space-time and caused energies beyond understanding to take the shape of a small hollowed out ring which Tartar promptly embedded onto the Epochmaker. Two of the three augmentations needed to complete the sword had now been completed. A surge of power rushed through the Epochmaker, A thrill of exhilaration rushed through Tartar as he beheld the sword. And suddenly reality came crashing down on him, as blobs of dark fiery energy was thrown his way by the great Demon Lord. Quickly Tartar activated the Transducer terminal and transduced the incoming bolts of magical energy into temporal energy which promtly got absorbed into the Temporal Circuit, effectively nullifying the attack.
In one swift motion Tartar charged the Demon Lord, and as he approached him, he swung the now energized Epochmaker into the great demon. He then activated the transducer and converted all of the temporal energy he had just absorbed into electrical energy which started flowing into the Fiery Beast. The current which manifested itself through the great demon scrambled through its insides, directly damaging its inner body.

Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.Q&A: @wyld: Meh, I think its funny that coolstar, one our less sociopathic players, was the one who did it. Moral of this story, Read the updates people! @laitome: manned, and for the purposes of making your life miserable, I'm going to say both. @solar: You should've seen some of the sadistic invocations of black comedy in DTG2 my friend. @wyld: Yes, the arch summoner is dead, sorry. The big bad here is still alive, and I'm not talking about the godmodder. @trip: just so it wasn’t clear, the source wielder responded moocow, Dimentio, and you, so yes, your post was counted. @laitome: I’ve basically decided that I’m going to interpret the defensive matrix as limited invincibility, because there’s nothing big enough on the outside to deal 2 million damage in two rounds. @pastry: Are you deactivating the blacklight?
@sacred: I highly doubt it. He'd have seen it as a corrupted demon, and attacked anyways. Not everyone can be saved, especially not in a setting as violent as DTG. The heroes here manage to be more impressive because even though they can't save everyone, when they put their minds to it, they save more people than they have any right to. And as for them having been aggro'd, the arch druid watched your group rip apart half the castle and break all the wards with paradox magic. He was way more aggro'd than those earlier guys were.
Now to concede a very big point, you aren't the worst, but the point is that you were calling everyone cold hearted monsters, and everyone who hasn't already taken that as part of the base of their character was already flipping out over the spellweaver's death. Coolstar was probably hit harder by it than you. The druid was most certainly not neutralized, and in fact was supposed to be killed by becoming a human fireball. When I realized I'd forgotten that, I decided to roll with it, and the arch druid was going to do what he would do in such a circumstances. Hit everyone when they turn their backs on the body. The Arch Summoner is by far the worst of the magi you've encountered here, possibly even bordering on the level of evil perpetrated by engie's character. He deserves no sympathy, and I would've stated if it had done more than just derail that part of the boss sequence, the one that you guys are ripping up unreasonably fast already by the way, and he most certainly isn't the big bad.
Did you miss the part where the others were complaining about the Headmaster letting him do all that stuff? Apparently that particular title didn't set off any internal alarms, so I'll do it now. Dyerlith wasn't the big bad. He was the most morally decrepit, but not the most powerful. As the mirror mage has already demonstrated. Also, don't use your position in game as black mail material. I'm going to let it go because I can tell you're riled up, but that's a form of trolling, and under a less forgiving GM would get you stripped of the very power you were trying to abuse. Being upset about an unfair death is okay, lashing out at the other players for it is not. That being said though… You will have the opportunity to save a fair number of lives with that golden orb of yours. Maybe not restore any, but the imperium of man has a destroyer placed right in the path of the evacuation, and everyone seems intent on ignoring that one.
.
Suddenly, rampaging into the hangar through one of the side hallways come… a gore magala and a Frenzied Dah'ren Mohran. The two beasts are impressive, but in my opinion, not impressive enough. Although they manage to tear apart a few psykers, all it takes is a couple of a colossi and panicky magi to blow the two to smithereens before they can do anything. Because of the quick take-down, and the nature of absolutely everyone present, no frenzy fever starts up. At all. Shortly thereafter, herobrine and the arch electromancer arrive in the hangar. The electromancer gasps in shock. The psykers, having an advantage on a front that really can’t be blocked, are systematically attacking the minds of the mage circle, slowly shutting down all resistance. The magi are beginning to lose shielding power, the fight will go very sour very quickly if something isn’t done.
Augmentor moves to the elevated hall, joining the others. Jondanger attempts to bonk the demon lord with a baseball bat, but the blast of fire and darkness blows him away before he can land the blow. Wyld throws the carp at the godmodder after ducking behind the infusion, but the godmodder smacks it aside with tabbune. Ouch. Guess ‘love hurts’ applies in more situations than one would expect.
Solar waits on the walkway, only to get blasted in the face by a shot from the demon lord, sending him careening off into the abyss… again. The godmodder uses tabbune as a meat shield once more, but the redirected blast from jindra sends tabbune flying away. And then Remilia charges straight at the godmodder. Oh gorilla, did it have to be Touhou? Richard catches Remilia on the banhammer, and headbuts her in the face. While she’s stunned from the sudden face-smash, the godmodder whirls her around into the wall, breaking her grip, grabs her, and throws her back towards the group. Get out of my way.
H2o spams elements in multiple directions. Not enough of them, as he is promptly hit in the head by the blast from the demon lord. The infusion suddenly lands on the demon lord, and the demon lord immediately begins turning to dust, disintegrating in its entirety, it thrashes around, and manages to smash the infusion off onto a platform, only for tartar to run in and blasting it apart with an electrical attack. The godmodder, before going through the door, sighs. Alright Flopsy, I’m sorry, but I’ve got to let you go. I need a distraction. He runs through the door, leaving behind… Well, it’s just a rabbit. Huh.
Engie deals with several of the versions of himself, but Murikan engie slams into a wall while attempting to chase a hallucination, and dark engie finds himself very confused and dizzy after stoner engie does… I’m not actually sure what. Stoner engie attempts to follow up by attacking the mirror mage, but gets confused at all the reflections, and just decides to sit down with a joint to try and make sense of everything. Fseftr discovers upon trying to leave the room that there is, in fact, a very good reason not to. There aren’t any openings. Everything is covered in mirrors, and likely the door will remained concealed as long as the mirror mage remains alive.
Zbse, having taken the souls of the arch druid and arch spellweaver, the one looking strong, but sickly, and the other pulsing with fear and hopelessness, faces the source wielder, and fires a blast of energy at him. A flash of the magical light intercepts the bolt, taking it out of the air. Interesting. So you are the one who destroyed my power nodes. It appears that you have a method with which to repay me however.
Moo’s attempts to convince the source wielder to join sides are met with a condescending laugh. Considering your current track record, and who you take company with, I would be quite the fool to take you up on that offer. Are we making puns off each other’s chosen tools? Much like the bird passes overhead unnoticed by all but the one it drops upon, I doubt the others here will find your wit amusing. And yet you are still here jester. Do you take me for an idiot? Is that not your role? And yet you are still here spellcaster. I have no reason to give you what you wish, and every reason to keep it from you. Then I suppose that is the way it shall be. Hee hee hee. I do love a good scuffle.
Immediately the room flashes with power as the source wielder begins spraying the light of the raw magic at Dimentio, but Dimentio simply turns sideways, abusing his two-dimensional nature to its fullest, before reappearing to the side, and then the other side, and then all around, and soon the room is filled with Dimentio duplicates. The source crystals around the room begin flaring up, zapping duplicate after duplicate, and Dimentio appears behind the source wielder, bringing down a paradox bolt on his head, channeling a massive amount of power into it, only for the source wielder to whirl around and catch it with a similarly empowered magic missile. Go onwards Players, you have more important things to deal with. I shall deal with him, and we shall meet again in a short time. He grins at zbse, and with his off hand, gestures everyone to the door at the other end of the room, realizing that it is currently locked, and then blowing it off its hinges.
Shiny decides that he’s had enough, and a massive blast of ink scream down out of the sky, washing all of the imperial guardsmen and heavy bolter teams off the side into the abyss below. The vulture gunship is unperturbed, and opens fire, unleashing a spray of bolts that send chunks of rock around shiny flying into the air as the explosive rounds slam into the platform shiny is standing on. He looks behind as he hears a crack, and realizes the platform he’s standing on is about to go the way of all the guardsmen…
Math attempts to completely blow up one of the destroyers from the inside, but his ‘drill’ hits the shield and blows up before it can get through. Realizing that their enemies are attempting to board, the destroyer amps up the shields right as math jumps forward, causing him to bounces off. Nice job breaking it, you’re small and slow enough you wouldn’t have had to bust through the shield if you hadn’t tipped ‘em off. Laitome’s attempts to break through the shield are similarly thwarted by the incredibly obnoxious power of directed shielding. Laitome’s day is not made any better by a glancing shot that takes out the cloaking device. The Laittlecruiser activates the defensive matrix, managing to absorb all incoming attacks.

Why is a yam attacking me?@piono Okay about the matrix since that doesn't change anything. You completely either missed or noped the hardlight manipulation armor, granted I forgot the mention it but yeah it replaced the Glyph Blade and used up my charge so replace Glyph Blade with "Hardlight Armor." Fixed my post last round. I just realized this, but it would be hilarious if it turned out that the rabbit was just an ordinary rabbit.
@moo Could you give me your +1's at the end of each round? Not planning anything but spare charges are good to have in case of emergency.

@piono in the case of the water man reaquiring the chainaxe, do I still get to do the ending sequence with it? Looks like it'll be a few updates anyways before it happens.
that... little... That slamming into the platform hurt quite a bit to the infusion. as she stood up she stared over and around for the demon lord. Hmmm. Where'd it go? oh well. airs a bit dusty for being a waterfal room though.
Then the infusion saw... the rabbit. well its not that-it made eye contact with her, and suddenly she realised. it... I.... its... so cute! She walked towards it as if in a trance. must hug the rabbbit!
uhhh... that's probably a terrible idea. Sure, it was cute... probably. but it was just a rabbit. right? whatever. Themage simply throws a translocator device behing the rabbit as the infusion walked towards it, intent on simply moving past the 'distraction'.

"Okay. That's it."
I command the Lobsters to focus fire on the other battleship and kindly ask the Laittlecruiser to do the same. Then I silently but quickly slip into the first battleship.
I then do exactly the same thing I planned to do last turn, except with more shouting and smashing. For reference ...
Inside the ship, I pull out a variety of random objects from hammerspace. A set of small metal cylinders, a parasol, some bottles of Fanta, a set of obsidian corks, a flamethrower and a large war hammer. Okay, this make can work. I run to nearest set of turrets and beat the operators over the head with the parasol. Then I smash outside with the war hammer and stuff obsidian corks into the barrel of every turret I see. Jumping back inside, I run through the ship, beating every person I see with the hammer and use any droids/armoured guys as battering rams to bash down doors. While I run, every so often I place down a small metal cylinder. I run to the opposite side of the ship and repeat with the cork stuffing. I then charge towards the head of the ship.
As I reach it, I smash down the door and immediately throw the bottles of Fanta to the four corners of the room. Being extremely shaken up from all the running and the fighting, they explode, causing the masses of consoles to short circuit. The turrets along the side of the ship accidently fire, exploding from the pent up energy. I smash the most important looking person in the room with the hammer, before pulling up my flamethrower and lighting the fabric parasol on fire. I throw the flaming umbrella down the hall. Running up to a nearby window, I smash it before turning to the remaining people.
"You guys need to clean up your act. All of this invasion stuff really ... STINKS !" I drop out of the battleship and smash a button on my belt. Suddenly, every single cylinder releases a momentary puff of gas, a momentary hilarious sound before the whole ship erupts in explosions. Every single canister releasing a continous stream of methane gas while the parasol ignites it.
I calmly hitch a ride back over to the Laittlecruiser.

Ha, ha, no.
No, I'm just waiting to hit the bottom in hopes that I can find some things there.
I do yell upwards, pulling a megaphone from one-post hammerspace to project my voice.
Guys! I'm not saying attack the rabbit - seriously, I'm not - but that thing is probably from Caerbannog if you get what I'm trying to say! Wait on it - if it's just his pet then that's a low blow - but don't let your guard down!
However, seeing that the floor has been blasted out from under the poor bunny, I also angle myself to be able to catch it. Maybe, if I get really lucky, I can make friends with the ball of fluff and (possible) murder.

Murikan Engie immediately looks for a gap between two mirrors, drives a Mechroa tendril into one (or uses one to make a gap if there isn't one), and starts levering a mirror off of the wall. He has not taken kindly to having been fooled so easily.
Dark Engie and regular me resume fighting, however the former has been rather badly affected by Weed Rush, and was already nowhere near full power. You're allowed 3 guesses as to how badly I wreck Dark me, and the first 2 don't count.
Stoned Engie, after using his joint, suddenly has a moment of perfect clarity. So far, everyone else has just been pelting the Mirror Mage with either physical or energy based attacks. Those can be reflected. However, a gas, diffusing across the entire room naturally... That doesn't sound reflectible to him. And he distinctly remembers something someone once told him, about how mages are magical... Of course! Naturally, the opposite of magical stuff would be... Anti-magic! Stoned Engie concentrates, empowered by some kinds of drugs that we're better off not naming, a cloud of smoke expanding to fill the room with a thick gaseous substance that appears to function as Anti-magic.

The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.
hey, I wasn't trying to get all high and mighty. I'd probably still be attacking the mages/imperium NOW if the godmodder wasn't within arms reach. I wasn't totally serious either, pretty much all of our characters are total sociopaths, just that particular one was a bit more 'intense' than most of the incidents we've come across so far.
