The storm has arrived.
I throw both my swords at any of the remaining mages in the room. As soon as the swords make contact with anything, they violently explode and release pieces of hot shrapnel. These will quickly cool down if they don’t hit anything magical.
The animals continue their rampaging fury throughout the room.

right then. Before ANYTHING else, I grab a pistol and try my damn hardest to make sure that there are no remaining battlemages in the portal room. I can't have them interfering with transport.
That cleared, I start up the portals. I've got something special to use, and this room seems large enough to use it!
Zhukov's army 150/150 let's rock. (the following is partially copypasted from my last post, with some modifications, including upping the numbers as you suggested. if this is too much, you can tune them down.)
- Zhukov's Logistics headquaters will be located inside the portal room, partly due to space reasons and partly because it allows us to Hand Wave Easy Logistics. This keeps the other units fighting and allows them to heal 2% of their strength every turn. This has some soldiers to provide basic defense, but it won't hold off a serious attack. if this is destroyed, the other units loose their regeneration and suffer a 30% penalty to combat ability due to lack of supply and leadership.
- Since are largely indoors, no aircraft are coming. however, small anti-aircraft guns are scattered among the brigades, in-case some of them find a huge room with a dragon in it or something.
- It's best to go infantry heavy here, and small units so they can cover multiple areas. 30000 infantry trained for urban combat, devised into 10 brigades of 3000 men each. Each brigade includes a bunch of engineers, in case any walls need to be demolished or bridges built. They also have some small anti-tank weapons (including Molotov Cocktails) in-case anything oversized Comes up, along with a few other incendiary weapons.
- let's not bring too many tanks. 90 tanks, divided into 10 groups of 9, (1 to each infantry brigade unless they end up needed elsewhere). Each group should consist of 7 t-34s with 76.2 mm guns, of which 2 T-34s have their bow machine guns replaced with a flamethrower; and 2 Kliment Voroshilov (KV-2) tanks equipped with the "derpgun", AKA the 152 mm howitzer, in case anything real heavy shows up.

In the event the creature talks but still attacks me I fire a sword beam at Creepers acid to vaporize the acid and hopefully to get the creature to trust me.
If it doesn't talk I just let the acid fall and dodge anything the creature throws at me.

Q&A: @tabbune: I mean that once the warded sanctuary event is over, all charges will be frozen. No increase in charge will be allowed anymore, only spending ones currently in storage. @paradise: I read that as; 30K marines with various added skills in 10 brigades, and 90 armored vehicles, 5 tanks with machine guns, 2 tanks with flamethrowers, and two mobile artillery. Does that summarize it well? Also, I think for my own sanity I'm gonna remove that ridiculously low healing factor. Are you still sure you don't want to add another unit type or two?

augmentor, having barely survived the paradox destruction of the entry bridge, joins the team in the portal room. Jindra points at a point in the wall, and blows it down. Inside is an armory. And a very large group of enchanters are working on stuff in there. Including one guy who is significantly more powerful than anyone else in immediate vicinity. He stands up, and turns to face you. "Someone needs to tell Dyerlith to keep his pets in the summoning labs! Come on people, we've dealt with rampaging monsters before!"
Remilia sprays danmaku at the battle mages, who amidst the rest of the attacks, aren't in much shape to block. 5 go down. Amp continues spraying attacks. By now, the battle mages have begun throwing up shields and moving to more defensive formations, only 2 of them who are still dazed are killed. Sundowner charges their formation, scattering it once more while cutting apart 7 of them. Don't group together if the AoE attacks one shot you...
Fseftr summons the azure armory and ultraband, and tests out the first on the unfortunate battle mages, several of whom are burnt to a crisp. Herobrine begins testing out his control of the glitch... and one of the portals in the portal room seizes up. Everyone turns to look at it as it spazzes out, then tips over, slamming into the wall and collapsing. And then the crumbled remains spit out herobrine. Welp. Looks like he's back. This prevents shiny's attack from working. Although the blindness does cause their attempts to flee to fail miserably.
Paradise charges into the middle of the battle mages, and taking advantage of shiny's blinding them, backstabs several to death. The following attacks from wyld and jondanger completely wipe them out (keep the charge jon). Paradise finds a page on one of the corpses. Wyld investigates the portal... and just about gets trampled by a pack of flux demons that comes out. The portal shuts down right before wyld blows it up with a magitek bomb. Too late.
Tabbune takes himself and solar to the portal room. Engie, in the meanwhile. Goes to pathway 2's portal room. This one is already full to the brim with undead. Not to mention the obsidian colossus in the center. Several larger forms dominate the shape of the horde, several skeletal giants and hydras, as well as a few dracolichs, plus a number of death knights and liches. The obsidian colossus starts moving, and a number of traps go off in the room. They were waiting for you. maskwolf summons an antimagic shield and breastplate. He also finds another page of zbse's book. Darkness shows up in the second portal room and joins engie in smashing up lesser undead in large amounts.
Laitome lights up the room. The massive, five-headed shadow hydra recoils in response, all five of the eyeless heads hissing at laitome and his drones. While four of the heads begin smashing the drones, the last one darts at laitome, but the head smashes into the shield, and moves back, shaking itself. Shadow and the party go into the first door they come to... and find laitome and chaoscreeper dodging attacks from the shadow hydra. Wow. What are the odds? Chaoscreeper's vat of acid runs right off the hydra. It responds by spitting acid at chaoscreeper.
Ohboy unleashes an EMP at the technomancers, who look at their equipment in shock as it somehow shuts down! They slowly pull themselves out of range, and begin restarting their power suits to keep from getting killed in the meantime. The firestorm mages unleash a wave of fire at ohboy, but moocow jumps in front of him and shields him. Coolstar suddenly appears in the room with ohboy and moocow, dropping from the ceiling and chopping apart two of the chronomancers.
math's swarm of animals attempts to rampage on the magi, but the aeromancers blow them away with a massive blast of wind. Math on the other hand, jumps off the wall, and is not deflected, instead, cutting two of the druids clean in half. The mages blow him back out of the circle, returning to trying to prevent the animals from flattening them. Earl returns randomly. Welcome back! Zbse dashes through the hallways, going deeper and deeper into the citadel, and follows math's train of animals, fending off a couple of mages with paradox magic on the way there.
Crystal searches the papers on the floating table. It seems to detail a lot of things... Notable in them is the conversation and notes on the people that were watching the room. "Why do we have such low ranking magi watching a project like this?" "Hey! We're fully ranked" crossed out "This is what I mean! We need to have advanced magi at the least! I do not understand why we have fodder watching this. This is too powerful for someone who doesn't understand the magical theory to be in charge of it." Markings of a general rude and vulgar nature, followed by an officially marked stamp of approval. It seems like there were supposed to be more important people here by now. The panel appear to be linked to the wall by a further apparatus of magic and clockwork, and surprisingly, even with how hard you check, there isn't a single trap in the room.
Jindra examines the room. All of the enchanters have grabbed gear by now. This might not be as much of a curbstomp as you were expecting. Jondanger drop-kicks a flux demon, causing it to inexplicably dissipate... but jon looks down and realizes that his bitter spray is gone. Ichigo is unsuccessful in finding the side hallway. To him it just looks like it goes straight with no offshoots. Amp's popcorn kills another flux demon.
Pastry imbues himself with the power of the Blacklight, powering up. And then paradise summons Zhukov's army. Engie places down turret, which begin blowing apart the lesser undead that try to come forward. maskwolf finds another page. Pillow slams the wreckage of the colossus into the wall, catching two flux demons the in the blast.
Ohboy unleashes a rabies ridden rabbit upon the head of one of the chronomancers, who uses time powers to get rid of it. Moocow obtains a wand of healing, and coolstar cuts up another of the chronomancers. Math's swords explode both of the remaining druids and one of the aeromancers, the remainder of whom are murdered by the animals. And then the portal finishes activating, unleashing a small flood of storm spirits. And then the colossus activates. This predictably scares away all the animals. Crystal examines the papers more closely... hey look! Another of zbse's pages... wait... what was that doing in the research material?
The enchanters prepare to take on jindra. In the portal room, the traps all suddenly spring into action. Through various flamethrowers, death spells, poisons and demonic portals, an entire infantry platoon dies off. Someone might want to take care of the traps. And then five figures walk in the room. "All right cupcakes! Why is it so hard to take out a few intru-" He looks at wyld. His eyes narrow. "You. Alright you four, lets take 'em down!" Arch battle mage and battle masters added! In portal room 2, the undead wash forwards and finally overrun engie's turrets. The shadow hydra finally gets laitome, tearing off his cloaking device and eating it. The room is also considerably darker now. The technomacners facing down ohboy's group get their gear back online as the chronomancers rush moocow, and rip the elemental shield away. The firestorm magi conjure up a massive wall of flame.
