Seeing as the others have probably thinned out the battlemage pack too much to hit more than a couple with the Blunderboss, and that Shiny just blinded a bunch of them, I draw a rather sharp knife and begin literally backstabbing a few of the mages and looting their corpses for Zbse's pages, or anything else that could be useful.

The names of the electrical charges really ought to be swapped. It is just DUMB that the place with MORE electrons is NEGATIVELY charged.

pretty soon here, the powerhouses like jindra, me due to my character's story and being a hard counter to mages with my abilities in flavor text, and a couple of others should start getting separated from the main group due to a combo of lack of communication between members of the group and traps.

Having just noticed the destructive fire power of jindra, my infusion narrows her eyes at said super mage and says cheater...Better be careful, these guys have nasty tricks they like to use when they are losing, and with that kind of power they'll be able to see you coming from miles away.

I Look around for a moment, torn between wanting to investigate the room below, and following jindra. Then, non infusion me takes over and allows me to do just that using Schrodinger clones! A series of 'illusions' that are both real and not, each of them following a path, and able to complete tasks as if they were real. I may or may not be any one of those three going n any particular path. Ah, its nice to be back... I really do need to change the body you've got us into though...

basically I can pick any area to do an action in each round, I'm in three places at once, but I can't affect all three at any given point in time. Unfortunately all three areas can affect me regardless of which one i chose to affect.

@herobrine do you mean just you vs the godmodder? because the 'we' gave me the idea that would be cool: the godmodder doing something screwy that splits reality and allows him to engage everyone at once, but the everyone at once wouldn't be able to help eachother, and they;d EACH have to defeat their version to allow victory Think of it like alternate reality clones, each with their personal dimension where they shunt us off to duel players one on one.

Well, it really depends on how long all this takes. I doubt this event with the castle alone will bring the godmodder down to 1HP, and it's entirely possible this'll drag on for a few more months at least.

@Piono; Honestly, I find being less flavortext-overpowered more interesting to write out at this point, though I might pull something if events in both threads coincide the right way.

I pillar up using some wood, and then examine the creature from above, check for hostility, weak points, and such. If the creature is hostile, I produce a random vat of acid and dump it upon the creature.

I hate mages. And now I'm surrounded. I can't take it. It makes my blood boil with frustration. Any thAt run off will call in some sort of backup or contingency plan. I find myself slipping into a martial trance of sorts. I may not be a dwarf but I suddenly have all combat there in my head. I pull out 10 swordfish with iron coated sword noses from my hammerspace. I start twirling all of them around with my telekinesis, blocking shots and stabbing mages. If there are no mages I do this to the colossus.

I examine the papers on the floating table cursorily, followed by examining the panel more closely. I specifically focus on its composition, its mode of attachment to the presumed wall which holds it, and any magical or nonmagical traps on it. If there are no traps, I attempt to open the panel using the appropriate opening technique. If there are traps, I attempt to disarm them.

Q&A: @fseftr: I know... its just a little bit... overwhelming when you pull these out regularly. And your sword's getting nerfed a bit, you don't get complete control over time, but I have no problem with some time slowing/speeding up powers. @paradise: Absolutely nothing. Just summon them in. The portals activate on their sometimes... Basically, just go ahead and summon them. When I said to wait for the portal room, I meant because the rooms you were in wouldn't have room for your soldiers. The portal room gives us somewhat of an excuse in terms of size and proportion. @wyld/herobrine: I already have the final events planned out. And sorry herobrine, but you're not going to get to top wyld's mega fortress... @amp: that's okay. You can still be effective while not over powered.

Announcement: Due to the nature of the last two event chains, it will work better if charging stops being a thing for them. After the end of the warded sanctuary, no more powering up charges (naturally or +1s, only holding them) and even those must be used by the 1 hp fight.

Okay guys, I'm sorry, but there will be no update today. I'm really burned out. This week was a bit stressful, and was compounded by having some sleep problems. I can't think of anything. I might end up being able to update early tomorrow. Updates should be more regular after this (if I had a nickel for every time I'd said that.) since AP tests are over and all that's left are a couple of projects, plus the end-of-year exams, which are usually all pushovers anyways.

Thanks for being supportive guys. And I figure that since we've switched to flavor-text based combat, I have nothing planned tomorrow evening, and suchlike, I can give everyone something I did not think I was going to be able to do ever again.

That's right, everyone gets a second post this round as compensation for a short break for the GM.

Also, for those people worried about such things, I highly doubt anyone but the group fighting the battle mages will pass through their fight in exactly one round, but if you do, you've all got general ideas of where to go.

For the group already in the portal room, you are going to be assailed by a small swarm of demons coming out of the glowing portal, and the battle mages are going to run away and set off the traps.
