I use my Chainaxe to glide over to a foothold or side entrance. I then test how summoned entities will hold up, by summoning a Dwarf Bulborb. If he appears intact, he shall be my trusty pet, and I will infuse him with elements to become a Dwarf Elemental Bulborb. If he is glitched or hostile, I will merely punt his sorry tush off the castle.

Okay, sorry for schedule and priority failure, but there's no update tonight. Missing updates should stop being common now though since the play is over. They won't stop completely though, end of the year has me a little frazzled.

I pull out a cellphone and order in a sample of the Blacklight Virus.

I sigh and shrug at Jindra, saying well, I was hoping we'd at least get a little closer before we would have to wade through hordes of monsters. I mean, stay away or die would work with most people, but not ones who can summon endless hordes of... unusual creatures, indefinitely.

Q&A: @jindra: No, you're fine. I won't correct IC stuff unless its a character using 'knowledge' that contradicts established lore of DTG. @moo: Okay. @tartar: that'll work okay for a starter, but upgrades are going to be more difficult, because I want to avoid another elemental chainaxe, one is enough. I'm not going to let you waste a limit break on that right now though. @ichigo: Just some OOC knowledge, but most of the gods you might try to get help from here aren't going to be available. There's something else going down in the pantheon. @paradise: Yeah, I suppose. Although how you're going to get your HQ into the fortress is a good question.

Several people try to assuage the worries of the apprentices, everyone is bristling with tension. Shiny shows the picture of the godmodder to them. "Shoot. Take them down! They're hostiles!" Before the apprentices can do anything, everyone, who already had their weapons drawn, mows them down with a combination bullets, grenades and suchlike. The magical actions don't work until engie's aura goes off. When the alarm sounds again, it is suddenly cut short as the grey glow around engie spikes outwards, shattering the blue crystals lining the walkway, and the magic starts working again.

By this point, the three apprentices are all already dead. Remilia continues trying to bust down the gate, and starts making headway, but when the alarm gets cut off, reinforcing magic floods into the barrier, and Remilia is unable to finish bashing the door down. Ichigo attempts to make it for the portal, but the blaze of fire forces him to back away; the apprentices were right in front of it. And everyone who tries to go into the castle finds the way blocked by the barrier preventing Remilia's entrance.

Ohboy gives up, and as the magic dampeners go offline, teleports all the way to the top of the fortress, smashing straight into another of the blue crystals. Ohboy lands safely where it once rested, and watches with satisfaction as it falls somewhere off below, landing on a unsuspecting flux demon, which topples out into the abyss. Math grapples off the platform, and circles around, but finds himself on another entrance platform. This one seems to be empty though... Tartar summons his sword core and gives it time powers, fseftr's nanobots' location systems short out due to the alien geometries, and fail.

h2o and engie's summons go through just fine, but both are blasted into pieces by a small circle of mages who appear where the apprentices were, and a chunk of wall shoots out, forcing Remilia away from the door, followed by several more mages. "Right then. Whoever you punks think you are, you've made a big mistake. Take 'em down boys!" "Ahem." "And ladies!" The various magic users immediately begin whipping up spells to unleash.

Falcon Punch: 35/35

"So you wanna do this the hard way, huh? Well, if it lets me get through the portal, then so be it."

I unleash my Falcon Punch on the apprentices standing in front of the portal, sending them flying away. After that, I quickly dash through the portal as fast as I can in order to go and get more help.

"You know what I find funny about mages?" I ask, gray tethers suddenly impaling the aeromancers.

"Their inherent squishiness. Seriously, it's like to be able to cast spells, you have to have bones made out of gell-o."

The tethers yank hard, pulling the mages closer to me.

"There's that, and the fact that you're all pretty much rendered useless if you can't cast spells. So, yoink."

The tethers pulse, physically removing the magical essence from the Aeromancers. A blast of wind then hurls them all into the abyss below, but they only get a short distance before baby dragonfly drones burst out of their flesh.

"Yay, more to join the others!"

Each of the baby dragonfly drones all fly up to me, using the teleporter on my drone's back to teleport to the Drone Hivemind. I think I'll only let you know that that exists, and tell you nothing more about it, for now.

Meanwhile, Sundowner charges the Hydromancers, machetes glowing with heat. Cause, y'know, burn the water mages for the damages.

A baby dragonfly drone crawls out of the Update Terminal, looks around, then wonders how the hell my teleporter screwed up THAT badly, before flying away.

Having acquired a golden orb, somehow. Oh Boy held it above him, using its power to summon a thousand sparkling star fragments. Jumping into the air as he threw the destructive force into the main mass of the fortress, the fragments exploded into a multicoloured burst of plasma, hopefully burning into the fortress.

If it breaks through, Oh Boy will roll into the hole. Brandishing a platter of garnished human flesh as an offering for any being that may be in there. Oh, yeah. And some meth too, everyone knows that magical beings love crystal meth. Or so he thought.

what thunder? the closest I ever saw you to making thunder was trying to electrocute someone to death.

oh also it wasn't smart telling them, they probably have contingency plans against us. Also They'll probably be able to detect the lack of magic that you practically throw everywhere from a mile away.

whatever, they can TRY and kill me, a whole fort of these guys couldn't do it in over a decade.

I appear to vanish, leaving but a puff of air where I once stood.

The pyromancers and hydromancers hear a noise above them.

They look up, only to see me spiraling down on a crash course straight for their faces.

I smash into one of the pyromancers, my collision creating a small shockwave.

So much for basic decency.

I run for cover and activate my cloaking device and give the extra to Chaos Creeper. Then I rush around the firefight cloaked, setting my blade to speed, decapitating mages.

And since I'm cloaked I check their corpses for pages of zbse's book.

Hmm... There has to be something here. I'll search every inch of this platform. And cast a magic detection spell specifically covering this platform.

Then, see if there are any pathways off of here. Where am I in relation to the other platform?

@Herobrine: Hey, I stayed behind to scan the fortress for a passage that I could use to sneak into the place. Everyone else decided to just go Leeroy Jenkins.

Well more a few people decided to raise flags while we were discussing how best to head in. And things went down hill from there. Though that is going to be a funny image of them going "HEY ENEMIES" when we all already were pulling weapons on them. And cracking the barrier s apparently going to be a thing too. The idea of stealth died FAST.

I wake up. Somehow the Glitch put me to sleep. I had a weird dream where I merged with the Glitched-out Metal Sonic and killed everyone, but that was definitely a dream. That would have been an awesome thing, though.

I question what is going on, because I certainly don't know, and shoot some random non-deity jackgorilla in the head with a gun almost literally the size of china. I don't even care who, AG PG or Neutral, as long as it's not Twin nor Cobalt Shade. Or property of either.

Back, after life threw complications at me. Herp a derp.
