I advance into the castle. I have decided I want to be an extreme omnivore and start planning on using that. I also do a scan to see if there are nearby enemies.

The teleporter activates, and a 6-legged mechanical being crawls out. Blades of Cold Iron extend outwards from the machine, as it begins to move towards the mages, slowly, menacingly.

"...Well, your loss. And fault."

My own aura activates. Being non-magical in nature, if the alarm goes off again, whatever the alarm is being projected through is promptly cut off due to being blasted into ash.

Sundowner, to his credit, catches on quick and, after running up to join the group, helps with the whole intimidation thing via those arm blades.

also that alarm should almost certainly go off, you are a universe eater(or the drone avatar of one) and you are inside their base, so they will probably try to capture and experiment on you.

Putting on a 'shy girl' act, my infusion quickly retreats within the group, discretely disarming the attacks for a minute(and dragging engie and jon to the back of the group to hide behind before they attack) to give the group a chance to at least get closer before they have to wade through hordes of monsters and cannon fire. I then whisper to them under my breath with your first instinct CANNOT be 'blow em up' they think they are more powerful than anything for good reasons, I want ot get as close as possible before they open fire... I mean really, say you want to come here to study new forms of magic, or begin your training in the first place...

hopefully they won't recognize me, but they probably wouldnt associate my current form, which is my infusions prefered form, which is essentially a catgirl in light winter clothes, with the immortal machine mage/barbarian they know. Of course... they might know of the one that had practically cracked a castle in half with her bare hands(and lots of time)

seriously, lets try and not have the first reaction be 'nuke em' and... oh what am I saying, even jindra the sensible mage's first instinct was attack...

I hand jindra back the pistol, throw jon so he can slap one of them, and allow engie to summon his... thing, before finally saying with a flat disappointed monotone voice charge... that was accompanied with vague point in the direction of the fort, and the throwing of a shrapnel grenade into the middle of the three mages. your friends are going to get themselves killed...

Paradox energy crackles around my fist and it bursts into flames.

"Which one of you wants to go first?"

Scrambling up after H20 helped him, he looked over at the partially antagonistic group of "Hero's." Clasping his hand to his face as he watched them threaten the guards, slowly letting it slide down whilst he observed the massive white fortress before him, sighing. "Of, gorilla, course. They just need to use violence against the people who run this place. Y'know, they could be gods or something, but no..."

Oh Boy was completely and absolutely done with this nonsense. He'd thought he was finished when he let the glitch in, but no, he'd survived. And now the Godmodder had found some new friends. They were probably more useful than him, and he was probably a lost cause. But that didn't stop him from being pissed.

"It's ninja time, baby." Putting on some black sunglasses, Oh Boy put his plan into action. He'd saved a small remnant of the glitch energy that had been so violently rejected from his body, it was still hurting him. But he could use it for one last glitch teleport... hopefully.

If it worked, Oh Boy appeared on the top of the mountain fortress. Coughing up more blood as he drop kicked into the spire.

If not, he'll jump off the platform into the abyss, having reached his limit for frustration. When in doubt, jump.

I apologize on behalf of the others. We really don't want trouble. I take a second look at the others, especially Zed. Well, I don't want trouble. I'm Dr. Shiny, and my... acquaintances and I are looking for a guy known as The Godmodder. He also goes by Richard, but that's beside the point.

I pause for a moment. You seem like reasonable guys. Can you help us find him? He looks something like this. I draw a picture of the Godmodder and show the guys.

I immediately grab creeper and move us the back of the crowd. Then I give one of the two cloaking devices to Chaos Creeper.

Use this to hide yourself. They won't be able to detect us as these are tech only, no magic. Follow me.

I place my cloaking device on my Glyph Blade to hide it from the apprentices, then before people start trying to kill them, I talk to one of them.

You see my company specializes in finding alternate dimensions and parallel universes, but this world in particular has eluded us until recently. If they don't, I decapitate the apprentice I was talking to with using my cloaked sword before cloaking myself and rushing in.

Omnversal Cloaking devices: They render the user completely invisible except for the person holding the other cloaking device of a pair. They cloak the user by making light go straight through them making it impossible to find the user unless you have the other paired device. Thankfully, the two cloaking devices here are paired meaning chaos and I can track each other.

Another note since it is important: None of my stuff is magical, not even the Glyph Armor/Glyph Blade. It's just very advanced tech.

After reading the results of Alpha's scan, I hear Zbse setting off the alarm and almost everyone up ahead getting ready instinctively fight first rather than use reason. I facepalm. Hard.

"At least Shiny's trying to be the voice of reason, I'll give him that. Oh well, I'm gonna go get some more help, regardless of however many potential battles I may miss."

Deciding to let Shiny handle the situation, I try and head back through the portal in order to go to the House of Knowledge and get help from either Obi-Wan Kenobi or Hermione Granger, depending on who's more available.

I seriously doubt some of us could pass ourselves off as anything other than a threat. I'm half suprised Engie and I approaching didn't seriously set off a much larger and aggressive response. And I doubt they are idiotic enough to let anyone in with out at least a cursory scan. So maybe not everyone's definition of sensible but in the long run sending a message of 'stay away or die' seems more practical to me.

I retrieve a large grappling hook launcher from my hammer space and leap off the side of the platform, next to the path way. I launch the hook at the bottom of the path and begin swinging towards the fortress, relaunching the hook at the height of every swing.

Okay, wyld I'd just like to point out a single puff of logic here. The wizards are stated to leave all sorts of eldritch monsters and constructs just roaming the halls of their castles. Even finely tuned, only a small handful of magic types would be destructive enough to be tuned to the sensors. Under these circumstances, a mage circle this big would start off just thinking that yet another member had forgotten to tell everyone else about some random people he'd decided to summon in for whatever reason.

Only three people are exceptions. You of course are currently anti-magic form, and would just appear to their radar to be an unusually successful anti-magic experiment because you're currently in your magic absorption infusion's form. These guys aren't used to the alternate you, and so aren't able to latch onto her energy signature. Engie is both in a remotely-controlled drone, and currently 'flattened' by the OP scale, which sets off the other thing that might make engie sound alarms, which is an outside energy source, since Richard is both actively working with them and physically there, meaning that his arrival would not only set off that particular alarm but also far overshadow anything else. Next to engie, Unity would only be noticeable because of high power level, due to being separated parts, and once again the OP scale covers the energy signature.

Anyways, because of the insane craziness that is commonplace within the fortress, they aren't going to be able to track anyone (except wyld if he switches out of infusion mode) via their wards as long as people don't set off trigger magics. As you've discovered, paradox magic is enough to set off alarms. Any other energy signatures will be judged on a case by case basis.

Also, be careful with your limit breaks, if the chaos you will all probably be soon causing doesn't blow the alarms away, your limit breaks will.

I was going to say something like them being almost unable to monitor the whole fort, particularly the insides, and that what was set off were perimeter defenses. Your puff works too though :P

Also Piono I'm not sure if that was directed at me or Wyld. Either way its IC logic from a character well accustomed to gauging things using supernatural senses just as much as physical/real ones.
Or maybe I'm a derp and you were kind of seconding my thoughts.

I take a selfie of me with the batch blade because I'm almost positive that it's not going to last forever and i wanna remember it.

I notice that the mage circle apprentices are(or may start) causing problems. I make some more batch files just by thinking of them and try to analyze the three mage's strengths and weaknesses. While i wait for the result, i offer some cherry pie.

Ok, so I'm going to assume that my armor was completely rendered useless during the Strife and stop using it for the time being. Should I have time to complete my forty-post charge, I will reactivate it and return to using it.

Having barely managed to make it here, my armor, ravaged by Glitch and meteor and my own foolishness, finally grinds to a halt, the fusion reactor making such a hump in the back ejecting a cloud of radiation and flame as its containment begins to fail, then shutting down completely, leaving the entire suit running on a few long-life batteries and a solar array.

For a few moments, the entire thing sits inert, then the frontal plates articulate outwards like a badly dented flower, allowing me to jump out, then stumble and fall, barely avoiding a faceplant by catching myself with my remaining arm, the stump of the other covered by a smooth plate of metal.

I am rather tall, youngish-looking, and very ordinary, in an athletic sort of way. Perhaps a little paler than normal, as a result of so much time inside machines.

Then I snap my left hand's fingers at my ruined armor, which shimmers, then implodes silently in a flicker of twisting wrongness, sucked into Hammerspace, the portal to which hovers in the air before me for perhaps ten seconds, then spits out a large crate before shrinking to a point and vanishing.

I casually tear the top off the steel crate one-handed, the twenty kilos of combat-grade utility nanites in my bloodstream made very obvious.

After a few moments of rummaging, I put on a basic suit of light powered armor, effectively a standard hazard suit with a better power source and more robust armor plates, along with, rather usefully, a neural-tie arm assembly that doesn't much care whether or not a real arm lies inside, then a sort of tabard, covered with warding glyphs and woven with magic-grounding fibers.

As for weaponry, I produce first a small buckler of sorts, which generates a protective field, to be strapped to my left arm, then a large ASR-88 assault rifle, bayonet mounted horizontally between the main barrel, firing 6mm IAP from a forty-round helical mag, and a 20mm undermount, useable with a number of ammunition types and fed from a four-shot box magazine, the whole linked to my HUD integral crosshair for targeting purposes. Beyond that, I have a small utility laser as a multi-purpose sidearm, and the ten-kiloton pocket nuke issued as standard to any officers under my command.

I look up from this to watch my allies deciding whether or not to use an irredeemably stupid plan of attack, and, sighing, prepare to back them up, whichever course they choose.

I suggest instead of going straight through the front door, we climb onto the roof or sides or the bottom, and use that to take enemies by surprise and access more areas easily. Maybe even a section of magic that less specialised in combat scenarios.

I don't think we can get straight to the Godmodder, as he's probably right in the heart of this place or in a weird pocket dimension. But it has its advantages."

Tartar channeled the power of the charge, but at the same time combined that power with the power of the Golden Orb he was in possession of to create the Hollow Core, which like its name implied was a undefined sword. It was pretty normal, a symmetrical mediaval-esque blade with a cross shaped hilt with a golden orb at the end of the swordshaft. This sword had by itself no outstanding features, and was at this moment weak. But it had the power to contain up to 7 modules which could empower it and from which it could derive its strength. The Hollow Core was merely a vessel to contain these augmentations.But at the same time, it was a strong vessel, it could contain massive amounts of energy, but as of this moment, it wasn't usable for anything. "It has begun, but it is yet to be done, now comes the second part. The creation of the Temporal Manipulation Circuit.

Tartar used the power of the charge and channeled it into taking shape as a piece of technology, a Temporal Manipulation Circuit which he embedded into the Hollow Sword Core. This granted the sword its first power. The Circuit itself had the power to absorb and emit temporal energies. Thus by drawing power from the universe itself it could power itself, and emit this energy at will. "It is now done, the Hollow Core and the Temporal Circuit are complete. The construction of the Epochmaker is now underway."

Hopefully I didn't use too few charges on making this. I've no idea how many charges are needed for creations of artifacts. But hopefully this this entry-level artifact can be of some help (And upgraded in the future).

Are you folks familiar with the being known as the Godmodder? Minecraftian, has a huge hammer, about yeah tall? This man is extremely powerful, and worse, very power hungry. Though damaged, he continued on his quest to bent the power of tropes to his will. After he escaped for our last encounter, every indicator points towards him fleeing into this fortress. I apologize if you dislike interloopers, however the Godmodder's defeat is absolutely crucial to the integrity of the multiverse. So please, I politely ask you to let us through on our search!

Depending on the figure's reactions, I take one of two actions:

• If they appear willing to let us pass: I attempt to examine some of the tunnels in the fortress, attempting to determine how viable it would be for armored vehicles to traverse the fortress, as well as searching for any clues to which way the Godmodder went.

• If the figures continue to be hostile: I grab my sidearm, a revolver, and hold it so i clearly am not aiming at any of them, yet it is also clearly visible that I'm willing to use it if things get hairy.Listen here, It seems you do not understand the gravity of this situation. Defeating the Godmodder is FAR more important than your lives or even your entire multidimensional fortress. We are NOT in the mood for negotiations, as we do not have time to do so. Let us pass, or we shall force you!

• This summon will consist of multiple army units, each with their own "health" (i.e men) meter, as well as an HQ vital to effective coordination. All units except the HQ heal 2% of their health each turn, due to Easy Logistics however if the HQ is destroyed they loose healing, and suffer a debuff to combat ability. The exact composition will be decided once I have more data about the fort. (Is this OK piono?)

Something funny happened the other day... well, not so much the event as the timing. Shortly after the glitch event cleared up, I discovered a glitch in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS... that can only be performed (as far as I can tell) as Sonic.

I ignore the ongoing fight and send some nanobots in to scout ahead.
