I seriously think the inertia fish will circle around the globe until I need it most. After all, such inertia means nothing is stopping it for a long while. Also I didn't attack laitome because I forgot he was not glitched.

@Pillowmantis I think you're misunderstanding inertia . Inertia is the force need to change it's motion, or in more clearer terms the vector of the acceleration times the the objects mass. Thus you can either change inertia by changing mass, or acceleration (aka the objects speed). Let's say the fish weighed half a kilo, and you raise raise its mass by 1000 (like you did). In that case you're practically throwing a 0,5 ton fish. Nothing more. It's affected by gravity like everything else, and will quickly hit the ground. Ergo nothing of significance has happened.

Now were you to have increased inertia by raising the acceleration you'd just have thrown it at a higher speed. And in that case why even use a attack that specifically raises inertia instead of saying that you threw i faster?

Typhon is a blob monster made up of various disease cells, at least from the perspective of his entire body. The actual creature within the mass is only a single-cell (although generally regarded as a true shapeshifter superior in almost all regard save size). Granted, it's generally pointless to note that difference as that would be like pointing out that humans are technically just their brains (referring only to the physical, here). While he has sometimes assimilated human parts to make himself fit in, he isn't technically human. However, he certainly isn't a mindless beast, though. In fact, the 'monster' in the trope would probably refer more to his trickery and deceit and lust for power than anything. In fact, his 'unique nature' is particularly why I thought cutting him out was an option. After all, his entire body doesn't actually need to be in one piece to stay alive (although some (obviously) wouldn't be under his control). It's also why most bladed weapons have almost no effect on him. You might as well stab the water in a bucket of water. As for 'humanitarian'... I guess it all depends whether one has to actually be of the human species or just a life form with human-like intelligence.

@Laitome We'll see how much of your post is allowed to pass, considering you purged the glitch, destroyed Metal Sonic, who was an anchor, destroyed several powerful entities (albeit ones that were weakened beforehand), restored the physics AND on top of that created a new artifact!

On a sidenote, who even creates those DTG wiki pages? And how do people have their own lore? I've seen no posts detailed enough to warrant a back story of any sizable scale for any one person yet...

@tartar I did all of that with a 7000 post power boost + Golden Orb + my armor breaking ultimate. For reference Demonic Megiddo without the orb would've nearly killed Saren when the strife began, and if I used it during the strife Saren and the fighter would die together anyway. I also didn't kill metal sonic, coolestar did that. I believe physics restores itself when the glitch is destroyed if I'm wrong it'll be noped. Piono also gave me the ok to just wipe out Saren, pillow, the fighter, remains of the Delphinus, and the Glitch, so I decided to do it all at once with my ultimate attack which could've done it without the 7000th post power. As a result the glyph blade is a combination of my near dead armor and the 7000th post power hence the "excess dark power" part of my post. Ditto on the wiki pages.

@wyld kinda it's up to piono whether or not you did. I'm not even sure if my Uber Demonic Megiddo could destroy that fighter at full health given how unfocused the blast was.

Q&A: @augmentor: sorry you missed the strife bro, I had to cut it short before feelings got hurt. @math: I'm not going to penalize everyone who didn't get to use their limit break. Actually, since I'm feeling generous, I'm giving everyone that didn't get one before a golden orb with which to perform a limit break sometime between now and the end. @engie: Nope. You did a bit of nope'gineering, but the only thing you were guilty was a bit of OP scale breaking. @paradise: Strife's over already. Doing the coherence post right now. @tartar: this is art-major physics here. In DTG you can increase something's inertia by increasing its inertia. It will be the same mass and same speed, but be a whole lot harder to stop, with absolutely no good reason. @tartar: the strife was already mostly over. I think pillow had already been taken out, and all that was left was to smash up the fighter. The wiki has several people who work on it, most notably fseftr and twin. And you haven't been in DTG2. There is very extensive backstory for quite a few people. And although I'm not certain if Sacred's done a comprehensive background dump, but he's got enough for a decent-sized wiki page.

The OP scale is a construct of the Narrative which, within any situation that the Narrative sees fit to balance out, will nerf/strengthen abilities and combatants within an area to preserve dramatic tensions and/or there being a story. The godmodder is thus far the only person in the multiverse to successfully weaponize it. At its basic level, it allows everyone to fight on the same level (mostly), but if something really bad happens, the OP scale will find a way to nope it. In the first DTG, the godmodder hacked in a physical representation to make said ramifications more predictable, hence the term "making the OP scale roll over" as in genericcraft, usually when that happened, the OP scale would physically topple over and squash the offender. (not canon until now. I'm adding the whole thing about the physical construct because it explains the term, and is suitably funny.)

Notice: Everyone has been shunted to the [P] (player) faction, as the game's hit the point where the only person left to fight is the godmodder, and we just had what will probably be the last good opportunity to give the PGs a chance to change back. This is the GM's official message that it will take a whole lot more effort than it is worth to try and sabotage team mates from here on out.

Laitome starts the entire thing off with a pillar of green light from several dominus strikes funneled into one spot, adding green fire to the rain of death coming from the sky. moocow attempts to take the chainaxe from wyld, before finally realizing through the glitchy haze in their head that wyld hasn't had it since before moocow finally stopped just watching from the edge of the battlefield and joined in! And suddenly everyone hears a horrible buzz and looks around as clumps of Glitch begins coalescing into beasts of pure Glitchiness. ^note to the person who makes the adaptation. The glitchlings are inconsequential to this right here. Its just something to do with the people who don't get a whole lot of pvp actions. Draw/whatever them in someplace in the background fighting glitchlings.

Duck charges at metal sonic with his knife drawn, but Metal Sonic jumps over his head, and glitch-dashes into duck, tossing him forwards. Metal Sonic dashes towards h2o, but is intercepted by amp launching several nuclear projectiles at it. Metal Sonic dodges and weaves between them, returning in kind with a barrage of missiles, which smashes into amp, smashing up his shields and covering him in Glitch goop. The explosive rounds meanwhile travel off into the distance and blow up an unassuming hill, adding even more debris to the fiery rain of death.

moocow, having changed targets, weaves between the raining metal and fire, and ohboy dissolves into a glitchy mass of ones of zeroes, rolling towards h2o, and jumping forward to try and subdue him, while Saren opens up with a barrage of bio blasts. H2o responds by driving the chainaxe into ohboy, burning away a large portion of the Glitchy goop, then forming an elemental shield that moocow and Saren's blasts bounce right off of.

Tabbune casts a void lightning bolt in wyld's direction, but turns before seeing the result because math has begun throwing things at him. Tabbune charges straight at math with glitch power, and math responds by throwing a massive energy ball and most of the floating rocks at him. Tabbune absorbs the energy ball, and unleashes a massive spray of lightning that explodes the massive boulder and adds rocks and lightning to the storm of debris. This, however, solves amp's problem by launching a massive rock at high speeds into him, followed by one of the larger lightning strikes, and then a piece of Delphinus, thoroughly cleansing amp's systems of Glitch.

Wyld and tartar both jump on tabbune while he's recovering from transforming so much magical energy. Tabbune begins to unleash a storm surge outwards, but wyld teleport-grabs him and begins putting him into a stasis lock, which tarter begins using to try and create a temporal storm! This near-certain death is avoided by a gout of green fire landing near them, disrupting their concentration, followed by a large piece of Delphinus that almost crushes wyld and Glitches through tabbune, leaving Tabbune to quickly untimefreeze. And then Saren changes targets, spraying bio blasts in the direction of tabbune's fight.

Pillow launches a number of mackerel at tartar, then manipulates the physics engine to super-charge their inertia. Tartar just rolls his eyes and steps out of the way and watches the fish sail off into the distance. Without looking to see whether or not they hit, he forms a Glitch katamari ball and begins rolling around to absorb things. He charges straight at wyld as soon as he can, which is intercepted by a multi-sided interception. Wyld dive-kicks his way into the ball, but before he can hit pillow, laitome uses a union strike to launch the orb high into the air without wyld, where it slams into Saren and explodes with a massive amount of energy and rubble, adding even more to the flamey rain of death. Needless to say, Saren does not take the attack well.

Math creates a massive bell out of stone, sending shockwaves rippling across the entire Glitch Hub, which tabbune counters with a massive wave of Glitch, and the two cancel each other out. Saren gets up off the ground and attempts to do a reaper-style laser at laitome, who rushes up while he's charging it, and union strikes him into Metal Sonic as he tries to join the fray. Both of them are hit by math's sound wave as he increases the strength, amplifying it enough to force it through towards tabbune, who moves out of the way.

ohboy then Glitches over to where shiny is, trying to encase shiny's feet, and then shiny himself, who dodges the attack by activating the chaos emeralds and emitting a burst of energy that forces ohboy away and sends shiny into chaos form. Ohboy begins regrouping, and is suddenly disrupted, losing just a bit more mass, by solar shooting him in the back of the head with the Devastator. Shiny takes this further by taking ohboy out every time he tries reform with lightning-quick punches and kicks, followed up by anti-glitch blasts.

engie, quite amused with the antics, decides that he'll chip in in his own special way. By which, of course, I mean creating a massive 50-foot tall monstrosity of mechroa that rips apart the battlefield, just adding to the destruction of the rain of death. Large tentacles of monochrome death metal begin snaking their way to the remaining Glitched beings. Tabbune turns to frostbolt the mechroa tendrils, as the soundwave coalesces into an arrow, and is joined by a number of swords that math summons to join it and both streak straight towards tabbune.

Saren attempts to get up, and Remilia's addition of curvy lasers begin hitting him, as Metal Sonic has already moved on and has left Saren as the only Glitched thing not currently moving. Remilie, encouraged by the success, begins slamming curvy lasers into him repeatedly. And, having stopped moving, things falling from the sky begin hitting him again as he is pinned, and unable to dodge them. He very quickly begins taking large quantities of damage.

Darkness casts psi-shield on himself, pulling out the sword of kings, and begins walking towards the first enemy he sees: moo, who is still trying (with absolutely no success whatsoever) to take the elemental chainaxe away from h2o. ohboy moves away from shiny, and finally reforms, lunging into solar to try and get revenge for the headshot, painting him with a white and black target. Sonic, having recovered from being hit with Saren, charges straight at amp, but is intercepted by jindra, who stabs an electrically charged sword right into it, causing Metal Sonic to spark and spazz out.

Tabbune casts a massive fireball at math that consumes the projectiles launched by math, and continues forwards towards math himself. math summons up a massive water form, intercepting the fireball and redirecting it to orbit (where it gets rayquaza'd) and bringing around a massive water hammer to try and take out tabbune, but tabbune counters it with two frostbolts, freezing the form solid. The stone bell fails to continue to let loose its shockwaves, as the handful of players fighting glitchlings on the edges accidentally damage it with high explosives, but the real death blow comes from Sundowner being a bit careless with a combo-attack that slices clean through the entire structure.

Having gotten a reprieve, wyld calls for his allies to fire a strike. The Phantom Hammer fires directly at the fighter, the shot streaking through the sky, catching the unfortunate Saren right as he manages to get out from under Remilia's lasers, completely vaporizing him. The shot punches a massive hole in the hull of Delphinus, but when it reaches the fighter, there is a flash of graphical glitches and a large explosion, hollowing out the inside even more, but the shot is diffused. Wyld follows up by summoning a mana wall... which is promptly smashed through by the Glitched intermediate god.

Shadow, getting a brief break from the fight against the glitchlings, takes a shot at pillow, gunning him down before he can create more havoc. moo continues trying to steal the chainaxe, but is forced to dodge out of the way as darkness makes a beeline for him. Laitome charges towards tabbune, gunning for a stone fisticuffs, as math uses the raw power of how much water he has in his form to bust out of the ice, chaining into laitome's combo on tabbune.

duck, having finally gotten away from the fight with the glitchlings, charges at metal sonic in an extremely distracting manner. Metal Sonic turns, and jumps up in the air to try and ground-pound him, only to get energy blasted by the Party in another brief respite. Tabbune busts out of the combo in a wave of elemental energy and glitches out, suddenly appearing in front of the Party, pulling out the magic gem at his core and transforming it to sword form, but Shadow dodges backwards and sprays tabbune down with the emerald nova. Metal Sonic has gotten up once more, but is immediately warp-tackled by shiny, and then this-is-sparta-kicked by duck before glitching away once more.

Math rushes over with his water form, and creates a massive drill of water, slamming into tabbune before he can get back up, tabbune manages to freeze it on the way down, but is still pinned. Math gets out of his shattered form, but sees tabbune has been pinned, and unleashes a massive beam of light and an enormous number of extremely complex math equations, slamming it into tabbune, completely curing him of the Glitch.

Shiny digs a large number of pitfalls in the ground. Metal Sonic, in a bout of absolutely insanely bad luck, trips over one and faceplants right into another falling piece of Delphinus, opening him up to attack. Laitome makes use of this opportunity, grabbing him with torpor parry, slamming him into the ground with union strike, pummeling him deeper with stone fisticuffs, and attempting to bury him with a dominus strike, but right before he lands the final blow, ohboy and metal sonic switch places. Ewww... you got ohboy all over the place laitome! The remains of ohboy are then thoroughly flamethrowered by duck.

While all this had been happening, darkness had joined h2o in attempting to take down moo, darkness and moo preventing each other from moving on to other enemies. And then the entire thing is brought to an end by engie stepping on moo. Pillow finally finishes recovering from being shot with the emerald nova, and attempts to change engie into a fish, but fails when engie shoots him with a massive laser. engie's leg however, now being covered in moocow, begins to glitch uncontrollably, leaving engie with a very nasty stain that needs to be dealt with, but the stain is removed (along with the leg) by tartar, using time magic. Pastry walks over, and with gratuitous amounts of lasering, takes out moocow.

No longer having to deal with moo trying to take the elemental chainaxe, h2o pulls it back, and it begins to glow brightly, charging up a massive beam of many different elements that shoots forwards, curving around and around as metal sonic attempts to outrun it until metal sonic is hit by it, full force, leaving metal sonic smoking and half-melted. Laitome rushes up and buries the half-melted wreck with another dominus strike, leaving metal sonic vulnerable to a spray of bullets from engie.

Ohboy finally finishes reforming as the glitch power from pillow floods into him, healing ohboy up. Everyone else who has by now stopped to deal with the glitchlings that have begun overwhelming the others stop periodically to throw a large variety of random things at ohboy. Ohboy rushes over to metal sonic, empowering metal sonic, allowing metal sonic to (although still heavily damaged) begin moving around again. Ohboy is immediately whipped to pieces once more by h2o's water tornado, although he quickly reforms again.

Laitome rushes up to metal sonic as he's still picking up speed and crystallizes him with a torpor crystal, which wyld capitalizes on by smashing a flying axe kick into Metal Sonic, shattering the crystal, but taking chunks of Metal Sonic with it. The pineapple salad surprise goes off, as the grenade happened to be in one of the pieces ohboy kept, splattering him yet again. He reforms. And gets splatted again by a stray rocket from jondanger dodged by a glitchling. This pattern is repeated over and over again by everyone else, keeping ohboy perma-splattered while everyone else deals with the rapidly growing swarm of glitchlings.

Coolstar rushes over to metal sonic, and expends his limit break as metal sonic rushes out of the way of everyone again. Coolstar begins coding very fast, somehow managing to access the power of the coding connecting the real world to the pantheon, creating physical manifestations of batch files. He sprays these in absolutely massive quantities at metal sonic, causing metal sonic to spark out, freeze up, and tumble to the ground. The red lyrium sword is caught in the blast, and as the glitch flees from the two forms the .bat files flood into the blade as Metal Sonic, regaining control of himself, purges the last of the malicious coding from his system. batch blade claimed by coolstar!

As everyone else continues to fight off the rampaging hordes of glitchlings, laitome sprints to the wreckage of Delphinus, grabs his golden orb, and feels a rush of power flood through him. Demonic Megiddo. He holds his hands out in front of himself, and a massive blast of energy launches forwards, diving straight through the plating of Delphinus, slamming into the fighter. The glitch shielding holds for a second, then shatters, and with a cataclysmic explosion and a sound like the fall of a mountain-sized hammer, dark energy explodes outwards, washing all of the glitch away.

The godmodder drops to the ground, having taken 2 damage. He curses, looks around at everyone, the glitchlings having disappeared, and curses again. Right when I almost had it too... He turns around, waiting expectantly for something, and then laitome hears a pop coming from behind him. He turns around to see an open portal where fighter lay before. The godmodder suddenly dashes into the portal, knocking laitome flying to the side with a swing of the banhammer. Gorilla gorilla gorilla They weren't supposed to open a two way portal... Remilia pulls up her parasol, ready to pursue, and Sundowner laughs aloud, enjoying the violence immensely.

Wyld has turned pale. He quickly runs over and jumps through the portal, and with shrugs and small amounts of conversation and other assorted short business ( No engie, I really don't think this thing's going to fit through that portal. But...), everyone else follows.

You are all standing on a platform of smooth, white, intricately carved stone that glows with a cold white light. You all stare in awe at the absolutely massive fortress in front of you. There are floating turrets, walls that end seemingly going nowhere, and non-euclidian geometry abounds. As well as what a few people recognize as fourth dimensional architecture. Some of you look around, and realize that out in the distance, there's nothing. Instead it just ends at what, were you not in a non-code-based environment, swear were a skydome. A disconcerting beige, dotted with diamonds of different colors. No matter how you move, the view is the same.

The godmodder is nowhere to be seen.

@piono If you want, I could do 'mini strife's' where I control a 'unique mini boss' of the fort occasionally for other people to fight against, like the various odd things within the fort i mentioned. I'm kind of planning to end up getting separated form the group because of either a screw up on their part of my part, so i wouldn't be godmodding my own character into some kind of demi god that they wouldn't be able to beat them without. Might be fun to do some mini boss battles in a rapid fire one round length kind of thing, or multiple rounds.

My infusion stares in a mixture of shock, horror, dear, and a feeling of absoltue rage as she clenches her fists and dares to stare into the abyss.

we had no time to prepare, and you did it in YEARS after dying over and over.

After observing the area, she turns back and swishes her tail in frighted anticipation. Allright, this place is one of the few places outside of a universe that can effectively survive, forever, keeping back eldritch horrors and universe eaters like engie through a huge amount of power and misdirection. In that fortress, if we even get in, is a nearly endless expanse of hall ways, battle gounds, and horrors that could drive somone insane just be looking at it too long... I suggest that you try not to get seperated, if you do well.... you might not see the rest of us again, ever.

After a brief pause she brightens up with luckily we are some of the most crazed, power hungry rag tag people in the multivrse, but this isnt any universe. But you have me, and my compatriot I share this body with as a guide. Oh, and don't touch any thing, there are traps EVERYWHERE. even the bathrooms. Also there will be hordes of monsters, and 'neutrals' running around this fort, its honestly the most chaotic thing I've ever laid eyes on, and I observed the latter half of the battle against the godmodder!

She begins leading the group forward, ready to act as the tank for the magic cannons these guys typically use as their first line of defense.

TAKE COVER! she screamed as she charged forward.

Actions:

I set my Glyph Blade to shield, surrounding me in a protective bubble. I get some measuring equipment. I then get in range of one of the turrets so it fires at me. I use my instruments to determine the strength of the turret. After tanking the first shot I rush over to chaoscreeper and follow him.

Glyph Blade Flavor Background:

In appearance it is a black one handed, one sided, mechanical blade. The hilt seems to bulge out while the blade itself has small layered indents/vents along the blade that emit a warm red-orange light.

When Laitome destroyed the last glitch anchor with Demonic Megiddo, there was a bit too much dark energy put into it. This excess power reformed the ruined remains of the Glyph Armor into the Glyph Blade.

The Blade is powered by the remaining piecess of the Dominus element used in the glyph armor stored in it's hilt. It is also sentient thanks to the Glyph Armor's supercomputer being super charged by the Demonic Megiddo and transferred to the blade's hilt. The blade is also has the ability to use glyphs albeit one at a time and being a sword is always a sword glyph itself. This allows the blade to summon a phantom sword that can be remotely controlled by the Blade's computer. The sword can open up to store objects to increase its power or to pull out a smaller sword in the blade. It can also be converted into a wrist mounted auto-machinegun or explosive knife holder and back. In short it is a large, deadly swiss-army knife.

I smack my remaining hand into the side of my armor's upper half, for it lacks a separate helmet, rather using a heavily armored canopy of sorts, lined with ultra-high-resolution displays, in order to simulate a large opening, and, remarkably, percussion therapy manages to convince the absurdly advanced circuitry to fizzle back into shape, clearing my view.

@Piono;Incidentally, did my making my armor into a sort of crappy protection artifact work?

I reach into hammerspace again, and obtain a new set of weapons; a heavy, single-edged sword for my left hand, buzzing with electricity and carved with certain symbols intended, in their octarine glow, to counter the invulnerability of certain beings native to places like this, and for my mechadendri, six heavy-duty laser carbines, feeding directly from my suit reactors and set to pulse a thousand times in a microsecond, ten times a second. {Basically really precise, hitscan, armor melting bullet weapons, lasers of this sort aren't all that much nastier than kinetics, other than some differences in the way they inflict harm.}

My equipment settled, I join the line-of-battle, just behind Wyld's shoulder, the higher-zoom among my external cameras scanning the far distance for targets.

Oh Boy collapsed on the ground, heaving up gratuitous amounts of blood as his body slowly returned to normal. Oh Boy sighed as he climbed up on a bed he had summoned, completely ignoring all of the people who had been beating him up earlier.

I follow Wyld to near the front, because I'm not actually here and the life of my avatar is rather unimportant. I also prepare to retaliate against anything that attacks us.

@engie Well, if you can kill it you probably don't need to worry about it too much... its the things that don't die thats a problem around here, but honestly I couldn't begin to describe all the things we'll find, and not just because there are too many, Every day I saw something new.

@fster(blue) Well, Imagine my compatriot, now imagine an 'army' of people like him, except they have either centuries more experience like the arch mages, or the support of about a dozen others like themselves, like the 'students'. Oh, and collectively they have discovered nearly every form of magic there is, including but not limited to; magiteck, necromancy, illusion, and the classic elemental combat magic. Also almost all of them have summoning spells of some kind.

Whoa mates, is that a bloody ???? Aint seen one of those in ages. annoying little buggers, don't know what their deal is until you find a way to breach whatever narrative shield they've got. you can't whack em with conventional physical weapons, ya gotta get creative.... Maybe this will work!

I reach into my Bag of Holding and pull out a large (about 0.4 meters "squared") Censor Box and proceed to charge at the ??? and whack it hard with said censor box, hoping that the interference of something that shouldn't even exist on the physical plane will at least partly knock out the cloaking.

Of course, I also toss out 3 s for whoever.
