Even though i am disappointed that i went directly away from the glitch hub, i am thankful that the battlefield says that I'm still in the glitch hub. Then i apologize to cobalt.

I look around, trying to comprehend what is happening around me, and then i realize something: i haven't done anything useful, and now we're in strife mode. I guess it's time to help... or hurting works too.

I ponder for a while. "What something frustrating that can cause a lot of problems?". Then it finally hit me: batch files.

I make an origami batch file icon with a page from my worthless arty journal, and it is such a perfect rounded rectangle that it becomes able to break into almost any code related thing. It is also very shiny, so i make a second one the exact same way.

Metal sonic is a robot, charged with the power of glitch: an essence made from code. I take this consideration. After some tap-typing, i create a .bat that will infinitely open up internet explorer windows to a random Wikipedia page, and launch it straight to metal sonic.

I wait for the result, and then i start floating around with my new found batch files. Then i am hit with another idea. The glitched players (excluding the ones that have already been defeated) would probably love nothing more than to be free and unload all their rage of being overtaken on the glitch anchors. Either that or on me for removing their sudden power surge. Either way, it's a problem for me

Assuming the glitch is keeping a solid grip on the glitched players, i try to place batch files onto the players that will severely weaken, or even sever, the glitch's hold on them. After i wait for that result, i have another idea.

I start generating an arsenal of randomness-code batchs to metal sonic. My goal is to overwhelm the glitch anchor with so many problems, that in order to keep it both under control an in-tact, it needs to direct most of its power to metal sonic, loosening its hold on the glitched out players. Before i do anything offensive to other entities trying to kill me, i keep attempting to invade, and wait for my results to return to me.

I seriously underestimated you guys and your capacity for strifing. And seriously overestimated your capacity to let other people get their shots in when deserved.

Situation analysis: moo is down for the count as of the incident with engie's leg, and tabbune is covering himself in magic goo, but has been freed of the glitch goo, and ohboy's down for the count as well, just because of how much ugliness was aimed at him, and Metal Sonic's finally down as of coolstar's action. Pillow and Saren are the only two Glitchies still standing, and a couple of really heavy attacks were aimed at the fighter and didn't get intercepted, so I'll have to see when I can read through everything in detail and put it together in one post that makes sense.

But I think this brings an end to the strife. There was just too much godmodding and nope'gineering going around, I don't think this is going to happen again.

Anyways, with that, I think the update is going to be wired together in such a way as to make sense of all these posts for whoever has to do the adaptation (and for everyone's peace of mind) and fixing up the battlefield. The Strife is officially over. No actions between now and Saturday's update are going to be counted though.

That being said... Laitome? Would you mind making a post after mine to use your 7000th post power for an epic finisher? Saren, pillow, Delphinus's wreckage and wyld's fighter all need to be taken care of. Even throw in a bit about smashing the Glitch personally if you so choose.

my general intention within this final thing is dual-use my charges against the godmodder as the first 3 or so seals. I'm not going to rush them though. If it ends early, then... That's how I'll start my thing later. So, for the sake of the game I'll consider myself AG if only because the Godmodder is far to dangerous to leave alone for extended periods.

It's time to end this strife. Everyone get to cover!

[LIMIT BREAK]

I grab my 7000th post power in one hand and the golden orb in the other. Both are crushed and absorbed by my armor, amplifying Dominus to terrifying levels. An aura of pure energy surrounds me seemingly eating away at the glitched air and freezing everything glitched in place. I power float upwards, stopping in between the glitch and the hub. With the power in my suit rising, a simple clap shakes the glitch itself, it's time.

Release the final restriction, code 59205

A sudden surge of power covers the armor engulfing me in dark flames. I hold my arms out in front of me, palms stretched open, with my armor reaching its breaking point, I yell.

DEMONIC MEGIDDO!

With me as the nucleus, a massive explosion of dark energy consumes the entirety of both the Glitch, the hub, and more. Saren and the remains of the Delphinus are completely eradicated. The players survive but all of glitch's influence leave them due to the explosion's immense magical power. Finally, the glitch itself as well as its final anchor are completely wiped from existence by the sheer power of the blast.

When the explosion clears, there is no sign of the glitch anywhere only clear skies, stable physics, and a feeling of peace.

I nail a 3-point landing next to where wyld's fighter used to be, my armor is seemingly vaporized. However there is a strange mechanical sword attached to my hip complete with metal sheath. Curious, I pull it out and realize it is what is left of my glyph armor, formed into a sword by the excess dark power left behind by the demonic megiddo. I give it a swing, a ghost sword follows, another, a gust of wind instead, another, flames follow my strike.

Ah yes I think I'll call you "Glyph Blade"

I turn to the camera.

And with that, ladies and gentlemen, marks the end of the glitch and the legendary strife.

I give a formal bow and rest up for whatever comes next.

Null stuffs I think I always held the power to just end the strife immediately if not make it hilariously short via Demonic Megiddo, especially with a gold orb. So I'm just ending my armor's life early, wasting the golden orb, and using the 7000th post power to be epic and to create a new artifact for me to use, the glyph blade. That being said the strife was fun, but definitely not something to try again. Also there is probably nothing left of the delphinus (I mean the blast wiped the glitch itself) and Saren is probably dead after that overkill, sorry.

Looking Back: Outside of blatant OP scale breaking early on by my part and some initial confusion, I had fun. It was absolute chaos which made it fun but it was also unregulated. Throughout the entire event only one attack aimed at me could've killed me, reaper airstrike which I'll admit I nope'gineered. Thing is that was the only attack directed at me for the entire strife despite the fact I was definitely one of the most aggressive players, at least I think I don't recall many attacks being thrown at me. In terms of god modding my attacks there is the obvious dominus rain I tried and probably a few of my combos as well as me speeding up to metal sonic's level. Also now that the glitch is over do your post-glitch flavor text/plot/farewells while our posts don't matter people!

strife: was fun, but everyone including me wants to be the biggest and the baddest of them all. That being said, it was... a trip. Also left to my own devices, I'd probably be just as bad of a godmodder as the godmodder himself if i even half controlled what happened.

The closest thing that came to being able to take me out was probably the katamari ball, but i didn't want to go down 'early'.

Yep, I knew this was going to happen; I was pretty much trying to do as much ridiculous stuff as possible with Sonic before you noped. There's a reason I don't like avatar arena style combat, Y'know, because it just turns into a shit throwing competition, one I participated in, but still. It was kinda' fun, at least. Even though, it was a terrible idea on your part.

gg to all the A Gs. I admit that I am really guilty of Godmoddering the living gorilla of all the attacks aimed at me, but it was fun.

We all did some god modding, I suppose. It was a game of complicationed attacks and deciding when enough attacks were enough. I had a lot of fun though.

@Piono what will happen to the orbs of the people who haven't used them?

Strife was definitely chaotic, yeh. I have no idea if I even made an impact on anything but hey, I got to whip out a Chekhov's Boomerang and that was fun.

I don't know if anyone targeted me besides OhBoy painting a literal target on my torso...?

The only excessive thing I did was whip out a flamethrower, and I highly doubt that that of all things is considered godmodding.

Does using a Limit Break to induce Make My Monster Grow and One-Winged Angel on myself simultaneously while also pretty much pissing on the Square-Cube Law count as godmodding?

Other than maybe the whole phasing out of time thing, I don't believe I did much of anything overboard. Of course, I would have done so, but hey.

Ok maybe not EVERYONE. But some people. :P

Here's a recap of what I did. I don't think I did too bad on the OP scale, but maybe that's my pride/ego speaking...

I started with that space-time distortion/quantum fluctuation attack, which quickly got noped... Then Pillowmantis threw a fish at me with 1000 times its original innertia (I've no idea what he tried to accomplish) which I promtly dodged (I wouldn't call this godmodding in any sense of the imagination), and then proceeded to nope Pillowmantis' Katamariball glitch bomb by putting the sharpnel into temporal stasis which I thought at the time was a bit too powerful. (Maybe the temporal stasis thing will become a Chekhov's Gun later on?. In my last post I cut off Engie's glitched mecha leg and remade it by rewinding time, which was promtly reinfored by fseftr to make it glitchproof!

That's all, somehow it felt like much more than 3 posts since so much happened. Overall it was fun, but there would definitely need to be a GM to moderate the battle if we were to do another strife. Don't dismiss the idea because of one failure, the format has potential, albeit it'd need heavy moderation.

Overall no one attacked me, unless we consider the super inertia fish to be one... :/ Saren was sent after me, but without any real instructions or direct attacks or further posts to elaborate on what he did against me. I'm anticipating what's going to happen next.

Illness left me too burnt out and tired to post for the past few days. I'l get back in the fray with a proper post as soon as the strife ends, seems that it didn't quite turn out well.

And by the way, what exactly is the "op scale" that I keep hearing about. Is it something similar to the Super Weight ?

Tartar that kinda makes it a failure. Considering the reason Piono did this was because of a lack of ability to moderate it.
Also Ohboytime? Full Free Form (which this strife is) won't always end like this. I've been a part of ones that went pretty smooth, guess that might say something about the quality of the players in the game though. Going from managed to this, with the thought of, 'Oh the GM can just fix anything that goes too far' was definitely a bad attitude though.
