How do I start in this game? Are you allowed to come in with a fairly large piece of equipment? Basically, I just want to come riding in on the Nota-Pe-Nis 4000 and start smashing stuff. Can I actually do that?
Famous last words of many a kerbal: MOAR BOOSTERS!!!WARNING. LARGE BLOCK OF TEXT BELOW.
depending on who is the godmodder next time, we might end up with a more extensive sideplot with some ideas I had, and that might contain a lose condition. Don't worry though. With everything nearing the end, my thing will be more of a pilot to see how people respond to any ideas I have, and to make sure that I'm doing things right. In other words, I'm mostly playing around with things and other than my actions reflecting some unknown-third-party, I won't do anything game breaking. Think of it this way: if DTG is the story of the GM's actions upon tvtropes, then my activity here and the final events serve as a minor tie in to something that /may/ occur sometime in the future, most likely when I (or someone willing to work with me) is the godmodder. Yes, while I probably have eluded to an extent that the original godmodder might have something to do with my character's actions, that does not necessarily mean that is the case, merely that it /appears/ that way. Thank you for reading this long block of text if you have, and Herobrine, if you would like to discuss this more, feel free to shoot me a pm. Otherwise, I will most likely pick it up sometime in the future after this round ends as a separate pantheon story.

My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big oneWell guys, I'm stuck. I can't update because my computer's giving me errors when I try to go to google drive to retrieve my documents, so I'm afraid that due to being watched by a secret organization or some such nonsense setting off my computer's safety network, there's not going to be an update tonight.
There will, however, be another Q&A to compensate.
@duck: Okay, just making sure. I've gotta be paranoid because I try to encourage free thought, which sometimes leads to bad things if I don't make sure to reign in such things. As for your rant, the godmodder of next session will be the godmodder of this session. Its the same guy across every DTG session, well, mostly. But, seriously, its all one guy. He's just a Minecraftian, so he respawns whenever somebody kills him. (The respawn just makes for the next game being a thing. It isn't used to prolong any individual games.)
@tartar: You remind me a little bit of erelye... I really hope that whatever adaptation does your attacks justice, you put a lot of effort into those.
@math: If you guys let player integrity fall to 0, well, I'm giving you guys extra leeway, so you'd probably have to qualify for the game loss condition to get that Glitch loss condition, especially seeing as how if you guys got there just from bad luck, bad timing or whatever, you would get a deus ex machina.
@mattias: Just jump right in. There's no prerequisites or anything, and charging is really only relevant if you want to get direct stat boosts from your weaponry (Rather than just Rule of Cool and flavor text) or want to summon something that will act independently of you. So yes, you can actually start doing that, but not your stupid immature whatever it is. Freaking do something actually worth responding to. That being said, the only entry that got blocked was when amp first joined in by trying to nuke the entire pantheon from orbit. So Rayquaza ate his spaceship.
DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?well then that definitely confirms my decision for my Big Bad. As for "next godmodder" used from here on out... I will be referring to the next real life GM controlling the forum game. I.E. Lord Herobrine.
My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big one@duck:
1. GM=/= Godmodder despite the initials being the same.
2. Your drastically underestimating the scope of trouble anyone would have in taking over the TV Tropes from the pantheon. Starting somewhere midway through the Greater God tier are people who are capable of effectively killing you gone or worse, as a backhand. We are only fighting the Godmodder because PLOT.
3. This is mostly meant to be light-hearted/relaxing. Super plot like yours would probably be detrimental (and also require serious buy in from everyone else, plot doesn't really happen if you get ignored).

thats why i said it would be something id have a gm possibly incorporate down the line. as for taking over tvtropes... well... why cant my reason be for plot as well? Plus, you assume that I haven't already taken 90% of that stuff into consideration.
My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big oneyou cant get on google docs either? thought that was just me!
[Click this link, and all your questions will be answered for a price...@Piono; Was THAT what I did? Oops, I thought I was just trying to nuke some random enemies, Rayquaza's response seems a lot more justified now.

So I ended up GM-ing a thing, oops; http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=149024.870attention everyone! Update do be in progress, but there will be no update tomorrow, or on Friday. I've got lots of stuff going on and will not have access to the computer in time for a proper update either days. Saturday might also be a no go, but I'll try to make sure it isn't.
Everyone read the note at the bottom! I am taking advantage of this long space between update to try something interesting and hopefully fun!
Q&A: @duck: I haven't stated who the next game master will be yet. It has been decided, but they decided to stay anonymous until next session starts. @duck/jindra: on jindra's comments, you are fighting the godmodder for a reason... And yes, it is very silly for the most part, but DTG suffers from early onset cerebus syndrome as I shall call it. There's already an over-arching plot to the game. That being said, duck, your sideplot is still just that. A side plot, and although it looks like it'll be cool, it shouldn't upstage the godmodder for prolonged periods of time. @amp: Yup. @tartar: sorry, I'm just gonna nix that speed buff, sorry. @shiny: For heavens sake! Just use the chaos emeralds on metal sonic! You're not going to get a better chance to do something with them!!! @ohboy: Sorry I moved you down to the hub on my own, I did it for some.. artistic licence.
note: Everyone who tried to target something in the center was just moved from the overhead airspace.
.
Coolstar, after a string of flawed, yet incredibly epic, logic, decides to follow the arrow directly away from the Glitch Hub. He trips over a rock and faceplants onto a pressure plate the godmodder placed long ago but never got to set off, and the pressure plate explodes with great force, ejecting coolstar into the atmosphere. Cobalt continues along his path and finally makes his way to the edge of the Glitch Hub, watching the fight unfolding against pillow. He gets ready to make an attack, then hears a distant screaming. He turns around and looks up before coolstar lands on him.
Duck moves into the center of the Glitch Hub. Shadow and the aspects open fire upon Pillow, who is still recovering from last rounds blasts. These completely bowl poor pillow over, ripping him apart. Under normal circumstances he would be down for the count but... who knows? Remilia explodes outwards in a shower of danmaku that deals 20000 damage to both Saren and Delphinus before reforming in the center of the Glitch Hub. Augmentor bounces between the two with jabs so fast he isn't even Glitched, 10000 damage to both.
Moo attempts to Glitch wyld, but instead is hit by a large piece of scrap metal fired at high velocity by math. Math summons golden orbs of attack empowerment. Wyld relocates to the center of the Glitch Hub, but Delphinus stops tracking him when he does! Ichigo blasts Saren with force lightning for 15000 damage, and then realizes that the Glitch is probably interfering with his actions. Tartar, amp, jondanger, ohboy and engie all move down below the layer of Glitch representing the Glitch Hub proper.
Jindra pulls out an overly large sword, but is blasted backwards by Metal Sonic shooting him with a Glitch blaster. Wyld attempts to grapple Metal Sonic, but is blocked by tabbune, and fseftr's metal bug swarm dies by Glitched physics almost immediately. engie attempts to nail indestructible paper to metal sonic's face. Its indestructible though, so the nail breaks. And then metal sonic grabs him and slams engie into Sundowner as he tries to charge metal sonic, intercepting both attacks.
Metal Sonic slices ire's wooden tree in half with the red lyrium sword, and flamethrowers the spray of ice spikes that shiny throws at him, which also immolates jondanger's beaver. Laitome's teleport malfunctions, so he doesn't get out of the Glitch center, but he slams the stone fisticuffs and union strike into ohboy right before h2o is Glitched by him. ohboy tumbles backwards, and climbs to his feet, growling. He suddenly flashes with power, and the air around him Glitches sharply.
Metal Sonic dashes forwards to take out those targeting the fighter, but is suddenly caught in shiny's sphere of turbulence, and is powerless to stop amp's beam of complete annihilation. The beam hits the fighter, and suddenly there is an explosion of Glitch. Amp is hit by backlash from his powerful attack, but everyone can see that the fighter has been badly damaged. An electronic shriek pierces the air, as if the Glitch itself were wailing in agony, and suddenly Saren and pillow are both back in the center, and all of the Glitched players/entities are supercharged! Everyone else rushes to the center to meet them.
Then suddenly, as everyone is about to clash, a horrible dark flash shoots out across the Glitch Hub as zbse feels an intoxicating rush of power as he blasts paradox magic into the Glitch. It all routes upwards to the descending form of Delphinus, which, having already sustained heavy battle damage, explodes in a horrifying mix of paradox and glitch energies. The main hull of the ship drops to the ground, covering the fighter that is the hub of the glitch, while pieces of flaming debris rain all around the rest of the battlefield, setting the stage for the fight.

Strife rules: the usual rules of conduct and combat have been temporarily repealed! You still can't do something that would tip the OP scale (not get nerfed but get nope'd, like try to level the entire area or do something unfair for the others) but other than that, its strife mode. Post limit has been suspended, but until next update, you can't increase your charges. Feel free to respond to each other in semi-rapid-fire posts (let others get posts in though) to turn this into the most incredibly awesome fight so far.
Ohboy, I'm giving you command of Metal Sonic as well. He has various arrays of weaponry, and pretty much any ability he's been shown to have normally in Sonic canon (any of them) as well as being an intermediate god, plus the added bonuses of being glitched. The red lyrium sword is, for the intents of right now, just acting as a channel for his power.
Tabbune, you get Saren. Look him up on the mass effect wiki if you need info on what he was before Glitching. Remember, you've been Glitched, so you've got to fight alongside ohboy, pillow and moocow.
Moocow, I'm sorry, but you're new enough that I can't trust you with control of an NPC yet, but please participate in the Strife, you aren't limited any more than the other three on your team are.
Pillow, if you come back in time for the strife, I'm letting you be in control of random Glitching. Just don't abuse it.
Anyone new to this; don't try to join the Glitch. Warning you now, it won't work. Feel free to try and jump in to fight it though.
Hopefully this strife will go smoothly enough that we can wrap things up without having lots of trouble. If this works well enough, we might just do it again for the next several events since this seems like the time for gratuitous Rule of Cool.
Situation; players: Okay, everyone is as listed in the battle update. The AGs, thanks to math, all get to have 1 extra powerful attack in this strife a cut above everything else. The action you want to be this should be labeled 'limit break'. Engie and wyld are more powerful, but that power will most likely run down and out over the course of the strife. All of the Glitched people (including Saren and Metal Sonic) have been super charged with a short surge of lots of extra power, so basically power mode. Ohboy has extra control over the Glitch in his position as the only one brave and/or dumb enough to try merging with the Glitch when it was first introduced.
Situation; battlefield: The entire area is Glitching, so if pillow decides to screw with attacks, random Glitching can very well mess with your stuff. There are lots of floating chunks of rock (also thanks to math) as well as various craters, battle scars and other nonsense all throughout the Glitch hub. Thanks to zbse, flaming bits of Delphinus are raining everywhere, and the main hull of it is right on top of the fighter, so if anyone decides to go after that during the strife, you've got to get through a ruined spaceship to do it.
Situation; artifacts: Quick overview of the artifacts. elementalchainaxe: OP as heck. Hard hitter, but requires direct contact. If direct contact is made, it'll basically down whoever it hits. Especially because of the double strike, which means it does double damage every time an attack is landed. Don't let the Glitchies take it away. Glitchies, take it away and use it on the non-glitched crowd. Chaos emeralds: These are incredibly powerful gems as I'm pretty sure anyone knows. First person to use it gets to go chaos-form for the duration of the Strife. The Emerald Nova is a gun only made more powerful by its long and convoluted path through the timeways of the multiverse. You dodge the bullets or nothing. This is the only projectile weapon on the field the Glitch has no chance of blocking, only dodging, and even then only through normal means. No Glitching away from the emerald nova's rounds. Laitome's Glyph Armor: Powerful, as it is both glitch resistant, and supplies laitome with an array of powerful attacks, listed earlier. bitter spray: will give the person hit with it a bad time. It is the only artifact left on the field that can be glitched though...
Anyways, after that overly long explanation, have at each other! This had better be good! ;)

DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes? That's why I said that this'll probably function more as mild comic relief now and then and an intro for whatever I plan to do down the road. Also, didn't herobrine offer to be the next GM?
the voices are still bickering and accomplishes no consensus
notices the fighter raining down
"Ah, why not?" I think.
I pull out my dagger and charge towards Sonic
" THIS. "
" IS. "
" SPARTA! "
hopefully metal sonic will be distracted enough to allow for someone to attack it
HIDDEN SIEGE REPORT
Status:
I just wish the voices would quit bickering. Plus, the arena is getting to a close, and there are no more charges. I'd say that this is a disaster, but oh well. EVERYONE! DESTROY THE GODMODDER!

Coriander Hasp, Excrucian Deceiver at your serviceSo, this has basically turned into an avatar arena sort of thing. Except for the fact that you're going to decide what happens in the end, cool. Null///
@piono Will the entire strife count as one turn for things like integrities and Dominus Override?
@anyone If you guys want a refresh on what my specials and dominus override do just ask.
Dear lord, it's moments like these I'm glad the Glyph Armor got passed and I just so happened to activate the thing that removes my cooldowns just before this. This better be epic or I will make it epic.
Also golden orb+Demonic Megiddo=evil smile
Glyph Armor: Strife adaptations activated, Dominus: Overwhelming, Loophole: re-purposed to play music for the battlefield, taking requests.
Sweet let's get this party STARTED, LET IT RAIN B*******.
To kick off the Strife, I channel dominus through my entire armor and fire off countless dominus strikes in the form of a giant pillar of green light. When the demonic light returns it destroys all of the debris in the air and replaces it with a green rain of death falLing on the glitched forces.

Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.Battle Plan: Ohboy go after the chaos emerald ill go after the Chain ax ok?
I dodge the dominus stike and then continue trying to steal the Chain ax
Coriander Hasp, Excrucian Deceiver at your service@Moo
You can't do multiple actions in one round.
"Post limit has been suspended, but until next update, you can't increase your charges."
Read, pls.
@pastry me thinks someone has not read all of pianos post Null/
Coriander Hasp, Excrucian Deceiver at your serviceorly?
I run over Engies bridge (assuming it's still there).
Metal sonic viewed the charging fool with contempt, jumping above the foolish mortal and spin dashing directly into him, before attempting to follow it up with a piercing blow to his head. Once metal sonic is done with him, it will rush over to h2obox, attempting to subdue him, but it will run away if any blows come its way. If it gets their fast enough, that is, but, it is sonic after all.
$%$#^ began to froth at the mouth, releasing a pale paper-like substance, skin. Its face beginning to slowly deform into a shapeless mass of dark liquid, the rest of its body following soon after. The formless mass began to glitch all over the battlefield, spreading icky gook wherever it went.
The mass of goop finally stopped behind h2obox, attempting to subdue him in its own body, restraining his arms with rings of corrupted zeros and ones. Hopefully moo could steal that bloody thing.
Whether that works or not, the mass will glitch behind Shiny and attempt to freeze him in place by shooting globs of its own body at Shinys feet, before attempting to encase him in itself, trying to steal the chaos emeralds. I don't think this strife thing is going to work, I've got that fellin', ja.
Let's go!
The perfect time to subject you to more music, I'd say.

Meh, I call in that tiny charge I started the game by making to turn my damaged Demimech Armor into an artifact, the Seven-Winged Angelmech! {One of eight limbs removed, seven iz spessiol numbr, hee.}
I don't see how that can possibly go wrong. Ever. Despite Artifact Integrity being horribly low. Well, it'll last long enough for this fight, at the least.
That done, I eject the second fuel cell from my Lance and replace it, changing the settings again, this time to fire a series of eight twelve-picosecond pulses within a microsecond with each trigger pull, four times a fuel cell, and still with the highest intensity and low beam-width. The limited magazines on these things might be a problem, were they not intended as infantry anti-heavy-unit weapons, for killing things like heavy walkers and atmosphere-capable warships. If you need more than one full cell, you have already been targeted and blasted to monatomic dust, along with everything within a hundred meters of you. Hence they are usually issued in large numbers, to disposable SWR machines rather than living footsoldiers.
That too done, I fire one of four pulsegroups at Metal Sonic, my own Improbable Aiming Skills combining with high-powered computer targeting systems to send eight high-density, mid-relativistic packets of actively fusing helium-3/tritium blend through his torso in a coruscating splatter of light and eye-searing flame, like the Aurora Australis, but nuclear and with the brightness turned up to eleven. Predictably, the impact and corresponding eight low-yield fusion detonations throw him the hell away from whichever of my allies he was attacking at the time.

I begin throwing various swords, clubs and axes at Tabbune, attempting to beat the glitch out of him.
Hey! Stop reading this! This is a signature, not a library!Glitch energy begins to cover me as I launch myself to Math while the the Glitch energy shields me from the various things he throws at me.
I suck the large floating rocks around me, creating a kind of rock armour. I begin back-pedalling away from Tabbune and build up a colossal ball of energy above my head. I leap into the air and throw the energy ball, shed the rock armour and throw that as well, both aimed straight at Tabbune.
Hey! Stop reading this! This is a signature, not a library!
@Piono Yeah, that sounds fine. I highly doubt that we'll ever trigger the lose condition. I feel more a matter of beating back the glitch or having a Deus ex Machina.
