@Pillow; Why the devil would you use orbital LIGHTNING strikes? A chunk of rock slightly decelerated from orbital velocity is an order of magnitude more effective and far, far easier.

So I ended up GM-ing a thing, oops; http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=149024.870@piono How big is the terror enderdragon? Like is it as long as a football field, about the same size as Smaug? a kaiju?
Ignore, this is no longer my action post. My actual action post is post #6449

Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.In that case, I'll help against the Terror Wither.
@pastryperson The terror wither is dead just attack something else.
Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.Oh, OK. I'll see what I can do against the mutants, I guess.
@Amp: You're ever so slightly warmer, but nah. It's bigger than that.
@Laitome: If we're talking about fire, then biologically, there's the hydrogen sac.
Although, enderdragons don't breathe fire. Their armor is incredibly thick, and their muscles, bones, and organs, made of stronger stuff than your average adamantium steel.
(They don't absorb shocks like vibranium, though)
I am the once and future king.@Lord Herobrine; Oh, I would assume you'd use, say, semianomalous hyperdense matter accelerated to relativistic velocity directly at the target via high-powered gravitic coils, since that's what I'd do, and in fact have done in the Minecraftia session, but a slightly decelerated rock is a simpler example, and serves well to demonstrate the extreme destructive capacity of objects at such speeds.

So I ended up GM-ing a thing, oops; http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=149024.870@amperzand: Orbital Bombardment, yes, but stop imagining scenarios. I don't want Piono getting ideas.
I am the once and future king.Sorry guys! No update today or tomorrow, and as has now become necessary, no second post. I didn't get a chance to use the computer until now, and I don't have time for an update.
I will do another Q&A though.
@laitome: The dragon is going to go down one way or another before the Glitch does, I'm going to make sure of that. And, oops, I fixed that in my page... You know, one of these days someone important enough is going to convince me to go back and fix all the typos in the updates... And an artifact glitching out will cause it to be no longer holdable, and its abilities will go off at random in different directions, with a chance of spontaneously exploding in some way. And I do not have a definitive idea for what size the terror enderdragon is. It is much, much larger than a regular enderdragon. There was a discussion on terror mobs earlier.
@ohboy: Dude, your character would've been able to see him coming anyways, he wasn't ranting at you for not metagaming, but rather for being a bit dumb in-characters. It still a bit out of line, but whatever, not important. I think I'm going to give you a bit of player-wise power, although personally, I would recommend switching sides again sometime soon, as you're going to be catching ridiculous amounts of flak once the event after the Glitch ends.
@h2o: No, I promise I won't. And yet you're still paranoid? Can't really say that isn't justified though...
@engie: d'oh. Okay, Purple added to House of Commerce. Ghasts not removed.
@pastry: Oh, um. Right now, you guys are fighting the Glitch. Current targets are: anything PG, and anything glitched, but glitch anchors are top priority. Also, if you can think of any gods that someone might be able to RP properly, attempting to get their aid is not a bad idea.
@iakwbos: You can try it, but it isn't going to work.
@duck: just the pantheon. The tvtropes forums are separate from the wiki, and thus not represented in the physical universe counterpart this game is taking place in.
@herobrine: If you're planning on pushing the grox battleship out of orbit on top of Gcat or the glitch hub, I'll tell you straight up right now that you aren't going to be able to physically touch that thing without getting Glitched out. You can get away with it with Gcat because Gcat's first guardian powers are distributing the Glitching to all sorts of places.

DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?@Herobrine; Well, I'm too pyro to care if the GM decides to pull a Zero Hour or Red Scratch Debacle, but I see your point. No more scenarios. Besides, not to worry, he's already seen a quite in-depth description of the above scenario, so there were no new ideas there.

So I ended up GM-ing a thing, oops; http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=149024.870@Piono: what happens when the god modder does?
My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big oneWhen the godmodder dies, the thread will end, with maybe a few left-over actions as players scatter to the four corners of the multiverses.
Eventually, a third thread may appear.
I am the once and future king."Normally I wouldn't post on a non-update day, but a few things need sorting."
ETS Supernova: a Super-class Carrier vessel. Super-class is one of the larger varieties of the standard Engietech space fleet. Carrier vessels are abnormally large for their class, but most of that space is taken up by cargo and people. Current armament: 200 Automated cannons, 75 Beam cannons, 20 Nuclear Missile launchers, 5 Debris cannons, 2 Hellfire Jet engines, 1 Middle Finger. Contents of Armory: Engietech Dismemberment Blade (X25), Engietech SFBR (X10), Mass Production Model Nitrogen Gun (X1), MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone (X3). Control Room: ACCESS DENIED.
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.I stare down at the knives in my stomach.
"Ow..."
I proceed to remove them and read my book.
Something something Arena.@Piono: However tempting that might sound, no. I'm not going to Grox Drop the battlefield.
THOR is something different.'
@Engie: Considering I'm not going to hack your ETS, and that it's in range of the grox, I think you should command the ETS for now. I might pilfer some of the stores, but the artifact integrity is dropping like my calculus grades, so I don't expect much.

I am the once and future king.I continue sniping the mutant mobs with energy beams, hoping I can get all of 'em down, sooner or later.

so, no extra posts, right?
The names of the electrical charges really ought to be swapped. It is just DUMB that the place with MORE electrons is NEGATIVELY charged.@Hero Brine I don't think it is a hydrogen sack because the update once said that the enderdragon's breath weapon was acidic. Flaming acid maybe?
@piono Ah thats what glitching does, kinda wish I invested in the failsafe now. Also let's just assume the terror enderdragon is big enough to fit something roughly half (or a quarter) of the size of a Terran SCV burrowing through its flesh.
Always trust a guy who says when he'll betray you.@Laitome: Hunh, acid... Perhaps it's a liquid flammable variant with the pH content jacked Up To Eleven.
Maybe, stomach acid then? That stuff burns, but I don't think you can set it on fire.
I am the once and future king.@discussion about how chemistry works
Acid and water together create bad things, force some water down the dragons throat (if the warden's Taking You with Me did not go through) and watch it explode
[Click this link, and all your questions will be answered for a price...@Strategy: You think we nee.......wait
The glitch would render that null.... It's not necessarily on the Godmodder's side, but it's certainly against ours.
I am the once and future king.I promise that an impromptu chemistry lecture is entirely in-character for my RP character.
WYLD! that whole "acid plus water = Stuff Blowing Up" thing is bogus. sure, there's a kernal of truth: dump a bunch of water into a vat of acid and said acid will splash everywhere. But a stomach is already acid proof, AT BEST you will give it slight heartburn. Which probably won't do alot.
But you know what does blow up in acid? alkali metals. Shove some sodium (or better yet, pour some sodium-pottasium allow) down it's throat and then we will have fireworks.
Synthesized hyperalkaline compounds? I can start a charge if I get +1s.

Ph up to 11 would make it a base actually.
Also I realized that Thor can't be electric based at all since you could have just stuck with ZEUS. Ergo, since Thor has a hammer instead of a magic lightning bolt I'm guessing that your going to really drop the hammer.
@strategy
The whole applying chemistry is a good idea but I think personally that you should focus on neutralizing the acid instead of exploding it. Some Na OH or some fictional base should do nicely.
