Destroy The Godmodder

Just doing a quick Q&A, the main portion of the Q&A being separate from the actual update is going to be a thing I do now.

@laitome: you could easily give the safe to someone else. I meant that one of the players needs to be holding it, and if it gets taken (which won't happen unless you hold onto it for too long) you can still retrieve it as long as it doesn't leave the combat location.

@war report readers: gonna clear up some misconceptions! None of the five anchors are currently on the battlefield itself (nor under it, since you guys latched onto some crazy things), and you will know when you find them. The things spouting the Glitch energy to make it stronger are going to be pretty bleeding obvious. Also, herobrine, when I said rapidly teleporting around, I meant rapidly. Not once every 15 minutes or so, like, every two or three minutes, sometimes more.

@solar: weapons that aren't just flavor text are artifacts, yes. That's actually what artifacts originally were.

@duck: sorry, no. Charges aren't going to carry over.

@wyld: Sorry, I missed the bit of you talking to Carmen, I had to do the actual update part after 9. In-universe, Carmen was rather occupied with trying to make it to the terror wither in time to help out your combo attack.

@math: congratulations, you have just invented the nature of the Glitch. Hear that guys? The Glitch now officially works by breaking and rebreaking the same pieces of reality, which is why things that are Glitched continue to spazz out instead of staying in the wacked-out state all the time.

@laitome again: no, you did not give me an idea. I already know what the anchors are.

@shiny: can you roleplay them? I have not played all of Kingdom Hearts, nor do I think I could roleplay Mr. Game and Watch.

@iakwbos: 1. No, the objective is still to kill the godmodder, but we've launched into the true endgame. Damage is going to be dealt based on what bosses and events have been beaten. The godmodder has a grand total of 8 hit points that people can try to beat out of him for coolness points if they so wish though. 2. There's the OP scale, you can summon anything as long as a: it hasn't been summoned before, or b: it isn't too overpowered. 3.Sort of. Stated status effects carry over, but otherwise you can choose whether or not you've recovered. Its basically schrodinger's character placement.

@everyone: Please remember, the more powerful a god is, the harder it will be to bring them in to aid you. The Glitch isn't the only thing going wrong right now.

Q&A: @shiny: okay, Sora and Mr. Game and Watch can both come in, but I think Ichigo needs to stay out since no one seems to be familiar enough with him to keep him in-character on the battlefield. @herobrine: you can't. Its just an explanation for its inner workings should a future GM decide to use it as part of the gimmicks of one of the future incarnations of the Glitch. @tazz: Actually, I think this situation would count as something Bill isn't willing to put up with. You're beginning to abuse the summon just a little bit, but I'll let you keep him for a little bit until things start getting bad. When things start to get dodgy, Bill should probably leave, as he is perfectly aware that if he sticks around too long, the Glitch could kill him, even in his ascended state. @everyone: Also forgot to mention, the Glitch is merely listed under 'the battlefield' because right now I have no better place to put it. It is not physically in any one place, and you can't target the Glitch itself, nor can you slow the integrity decrease speed.

Also, solar, that was freaking awesome. Now I wish I could actually hear that. Notes to anyone making an adaptation; see if you can put audio of that bit solar wrote into the thing.

Pillow fires up into the sky with his laser pointer. Nothing happens. Jindra takes off towards the house of villains, but discovers the same thing that Shiny did earlier, its a lot harder to move long distances when you aren't using anything to increase your speed. chaos pulls out a medi-gun, but Bill does not accept his offer (Even if it were possible to heal mega entities of that level of power). Chaos launches a spire of 1s and 0s towards the enderdragon. The enderdragon rolls, but still takes 4000 damage.

Solar moves to the valley and he and the... voice, recite his slam poem. The godmodder pauses. Huh. I really have riled you up to get a slam poem written for me. Nice. He then blasts solar in the face with the cannon (not killing him, but blasting him back). But I know what I am. I didn't choose this path initially, but it is fully mine to walk. And I know exactly where it leads. Winning. Duck hides. Although this is really not very conducive to having fun most of the time. Getting crushed underneath a castle is not something you would expect to happen twice, especially since there are no visible castle... a glitching out castle drops from the sky and lands on duck. He manages to quickly dig himself out though. Wow. What are the odds?

The nuke gets knocked out of the air by a large golden hammer. You know, I really should have started using the ancestral artifacts sooner. He whips the banhammer around into amp's face as amp tries to bodyslam him. Nice try punk. The terror wither and mutant iron golems stumble their way out of the middle into the valley. Ohboy has the terror enderdragon take off towards the far right, and laitome anchors himself to the terror enderdragon's back. This deals 5000 damage to the terror enderdragon, and it writhers, but continues on into the far right.

Wyld sets up some teleporters, but rather than putting him right on top of the fighter... he finds himself a ways off from it. In front of him, the universe sort of seems to be spitting up graphical glitches, making it hard to see where he needs to go. The 501st troopers look at each other. "Well, there's been tons of radio chatter. The ODST won't be helping with this one, but Vader is sending in more soldiers to help out." Several shuttles and a couple of TIE fighters fly into view. "See?" The shuttles land, and unload a number of more 501st troopers. The Elephant drives into the Valley just as the terror enderdragon flies right on past them.

The healing lieutenant and the two squads get out of the elephant, the grunts can't banish enemies, as that is the realm of the elites and lieutenant, who are both now dead, but the captains, grunts and lieutenant do kill 3 mutant iron golems with support from the Elephant, but the Elephant puts out minimal damage, there just aren't enough armors manning its weaponry. The SPAMMAs take out 10, and the flame lieutenant wipes out another one. The mutant iron golems retaliate by smashing their way through one of the squads of armors.

Math attempts to check the coding of the Glitch. His laptop immediately gives him a blue screen of death, sparks, and begins smoking before a small pop is heard and several keyboard pieces launch out at him as the motherboard goes into violent meltdown. Oops. The enderdragon finally reaches wyld's castle, and dive-bombs it, going right through the shield and taking out ridiculously huge chunks of the fortress itself. 200000 damage to wyld's fortress. Engie uses his universe eater energies to carve a path straight to the portal room. It is now open to air, as the terror enderdragon leaving carved away all the rock, straight up to the surface. There is no longer any sign of the portal. Engie shurgs and climbs his way out back to the surface.

The ETS supernova is almost entirely activated when Purple sees something... strange. It is glitching out heavily, and has shapes flying around beside it. The sensors are seriously malfunctioning, so he can't pin down what it is. Coolstar begins throwing around random things. As there are no entities to hit in the middle, this does absolutely nothing. Tabbune follows wyld through his teleporter. A single page from zbse's book flutters past as he joins wyld, looking out over the horribly Glitched area.

djkates summons his special black luster soldier, and sends it at the godmodder. The godmodder scoffs and fires his cannon at it... and it does nothing. What the gorilla Just happened!? The black luster soldier, capitalizing on the godmodder's surprise, smashes his sword into the godmodder's face. 1 damage. Okay, what kind of cheap shot is this? Immune to battle damage!? How did that get through the OP scale? Desperately, the godmodder throws the sandwich he had retrieved from iakwbos, and saved as a snack knowing full well it was poisoned, at the black luster soldier, getting it in its mouth, killing it. Oh right. One hit point wonder.

By the time zbse follows the godmodder into the valley, the exchange has already finished. The godmodder hits them back, volleyball style, and zbse looks up from his sort of non-responsive not-caringness just in time to get in the face by them, his suit getting completely torched. h2o tries to soul bond the chainaxe to himself... and discovers that that basically wouldn't do anything. Any attempt to remove it from his person would only take effect as long as it would take for h2o to try to use the chainaxe again.

Bill helps tazz track down the teleporting thing... What the... And he quickly moves out of the way as the anchor suddenly teleports into the middle of the group and unleashes a flare of green energy. Gcat is back. Herobrine rockets upwards through the air and into orbit. The first thing he sees is the massive starship being evacuated. The second thing he sees is a large battleship off in the distance... And its one he recognizes. Shiny walks through the halls of the house of life and death. He meets a few people, but only a few, and no gods. When he stops to ask someone, the person looks around worriedly, and says something quietly about a large fight, a massive physics-destroying glitch, and uprisings all over the pantheon before scurrying off.

Ichigo and Carmen charge into the mutant iron golems together after Carmen accepts the sword, thanking ichigo for the weapon and slipping it into her jacket. The two of them do an awesome combo that takes down 7 of them. Fseftr rocketpacks his/her way over to the far right just in time to see the terror enderdragon divebomb the fortress. jondanger follows fseftr, but he can't throw well enough to hit the terror enderdragon with his hydrogen bomb. Jondanger fires a massive missile and laser barrage at it to compensate, dealing 50000 damage. The Party makes its way to the valley and opens fire on the terror wither, dealing 50000 damage to it, as well as scaring it into not attacking this round.

The armors in wyld's fortress begin freaking out now that there is a massive freaking hole punched clean through the castle, with no rubble or anything, all the material just gone. The vehicle and armor repair rooms were among the casualties. The fortress's turrets all fire upon the terror enderdragon, dealing 10000 damage. Bill suddenly notices his omniscience is beginning to waver again... Definitely not the Glitch causing it. The mutant blazes unleash a massive spray of fire upon the armors in the valley, dealing 15000 damage to the healing lieutenant and killing the other extra armor squad. Bill pitches in on the fight by firing lots of eye lasers at the mutant blazes, killing 25. The terror wither regains 50000 health.

I'd tell you the nature of the other, but then you guys would seriously abuse that knowledge in an out-of-character way, so I think I'm going to let you guys figure that one out. Note to all people in the Middle, that area is not going to have anything interesting happen in it again, you might want to leave.

Also seriously people have been attempting to use the glitch the whole time? I think an accounting for things is in order...

i knew full well the life ray worked on the wither, but he was out of range and when i said for him to go into range and attack you kind of just ignored that. Also grunts can cast banish WHEN IN THE WARDEN'S FORMATION as he is driving the elephant everyone gets the benefit of his formation bonus's. The dragon ender should obviously work against the enderdragon,(unless something changed) and the luminant barrier should work against bill, unless i am mistaken.

Having some knowledge on how glitches work, this particular one interests me... if it works be breaking and re breaking reality as it fixes itself... All i have to do is stop the flow of reality, to prevent it from re breaking. Unfortunately... I'll need to concentrate the power in on myself and my soruoundings... stick close to me tabbune. With the spell weaving around me, I motion for tabbune to assist. Actually I'm not physically weaving the time sphere dilator, but rather a series of small round machines do the work for me as i produce them with etheric energy and send them in orbit around me, giving a clear definition of how far the barrier should extend.

hmm... Yeah i remember that mage... he was the one riding on the back of a bird MADE OF FIRE. That was pretty awesome.

shhhh... let me focus, this stuff is a hazard to my health. in an adaption this would look incredibly cool, a bunch of magiteck time stop bubble devices circling around a pair of war mages as they wade through a sea that could consume their very being, with static all in the air around them from an above view.

The warden stares in desbeleif. something must be screwing with the formations. The grunts make SURE they are in the wardens formation and pile into the vehicle, with ten of them manning the turrets, and the other ten using the BENIFIT OF BEING IN THE WARDEN'S FORMATION to cast banish on the enemies. The flame striker goes after the wither like i told him too earlier, luring the wither to the fort even as it blasts him with the life ray, and the healing lieutenant growls at the ender, he isn't getting away with that. Jumping a shonen anime level height, he smashes the artifact down on the ender, and then retreats to the fort trying to lure him to it... The warden teleports the entire elephant about, luring the army to the fort.

The laser cannon fires out at the dragon, and.... IT seems like the armors are preparing to abandon the fort, and setting a self destruct timer that will explode at the best possible moment(when i chose it to, or when you, the GM, genuenly thinks its the best time for it to eplxode in favor of AG). All nearby allies are warned via secure radio transmissions. As well as those that had been operating the repair rooms and the vehicle production facility, they begin taking off in all directions... groups of them equipped with materials necessary for knock of armor production rooms. They also seem to have mining equipment... these guys, if you let this go through, wont matter until quite a bit later when i decide we need them the most. I actually talked about the final stage of the fort with you a bit, but i wasn't sure if you included it in its stats. you also may have forgotten so its cool if you dont let that go through but its an idea of mine.

The remaining troopers (captains and spammas) do their best to lure in every enemy they possibly can to the fort, while warning others to scatter.

This is the plan for the evac: all untis that aren't lucky enough to teleport with the warden will take off in all directions (the spammas and lietenits) take off as well if they can, desperate to escapethe area. they had seen the last time one of these forts had a melt down, and it left behind one gorilla of a hole behind, along with a magic jungle full of various creatures that killed anything they could get their hands on (E.I: survivors of the blast.)

I'm going to shorten these War reports. I need leaders in each field to delegate actions in the field, to others. Wyld, you seem to be obviously leading the ground Forces. Keep on it.

Ignore the mutants. They are less of an issue now. Our anchor is in position. Blow it up.

I am the once and future king.

It's funny because I'm playing Metal Gear Rising right now.

I look at the crazy, son of a MONKEEYY who had attached themselves with a sword, funnily enough. "Well, uh. That wasn't the smartest idea." I spread a bunch of peanut butter on his silly sword with my mind, giving the words "Butter fingers" a whole new meaning. "Do you actually have a grip feature, Laitome? You're very clever, trying to get that past the update terminal. But... OBJECTION." I question the very existence of such a silly feature, making it non-existent. Well, hopefully, anyway.

"Baby, that was great. But, these grunts seem to have abandoned this fortress extremely quickly. Why don't ya' just surround this fortress here with flames very quick and we make our way to the valley, ciao?"

I bring out a special pair of modified jawbreakers that have communication hardware lodged deep inside of them, edible communication hardware.

"Everything in da' valley, go after the crazy psycadelic elephant, seconding the Dragon Ender" It wouldn't make much sense for my character to go after a medic who really couldn't stop the terror withers damage.

If anyone goes to the Ender Dragon, or if laitome is still on, you can distinctly hear a faint sound of half mangled barking noises underlining its speech as Oh Boy Time excitedly talks to his "Friend". What is Oh Boy? You really shouldn't put any meaning into this, it's just a way for me to do some silly stuff in the future.

My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big one

{Just pointing out, for the purposes of !!Science!!, and without any expectation of events changing themselves, that a ground-launched megaton strat-nuke set for airburst would be traveling at an altitude of around a kilometer, and would detonate as soon as it got within the several-mile-circumference target area. Or if it noticed something in the way. For that matter, since it was intended only for flash-and-bang, it might detonate as soon as it cleared the horizon, megaton nukes being capable of permanently blinding someone as far away as fifty miles.}

Being smashed in the head by a huge hammer causes somewhat less of a problem for me than it might for others, since my armor lacks a separate helmet, thereby preventing the massive craniospinal trauma a normally armored person would have experienced, in exchange for a superficial dent. Then I simply warp out from under the hammer, having received new orders.

A stupidly large number of personnel inside the ETS Supernova scramble to battle stations. At the same time, a relatively small purple figure rockets downwards, towards the land below, straight for the House of Commerce.

In an optimal situation I would merely outright hire the Senator himself. But the situation is far from optimal. He would most likely be caught up in some stupid situation. Typical. Hopefully a Demigod will prove a few magnitudes easier to bring in than a Greater God. Now then.

I land at the House of Commerce. If memory serves correctly the god I am looking for will more likely be here than at the House of War. Time to find Sundowner. Hopefully he will be here somewhere.

Meanwhile, I head to the valley via air. Upon arrival, I smack the Terror Wither in one of it's faces with a metal drone fist, powered by KINETIC ENERGY! Because when you want to kill things, obscene amounts of blunt force works. Oh, also, I may or may not have flown through a cloud made of Healing Potion vapor. Funnily enough, Withers are undead, the Terror versions not being an exception. From what I can remember from Minecraft, undead creatures get really badly hurt by healing potions. Do the math.

In orbit, the now battle-ready ETS Supernova turns, a fairly bog-standard armament of weaponry sprouting from each side. You know how KINETIC ENERGY! is very good at killing things? In space, there is no friction to remove power, so the physical-type weaponry will HURT. At this distance, sadly, the orbital glitch anchor will have too much time to dodge. We need to get closer. Briney guy, can you try pulling the glitch anchor over so that my ship can unleash a Hyper Weight level bombardment on it?

Charge: I summon 4 ^Frostbombs  Single-use. Freezes something permanently until ice layer is broken. The ice has 10 000 HP (nerf this first if needed). The target can't take any action except trying to break free (Dealing 1 000 damage to the ice layer)

I give Wyld 2 of the Frostbombs and I get ready to throw a Frostbomb at anything that ambushes us. Use it in case of emergencies.

2+1s to anyone not giving dedicated charges, 1 to Wyld (Which I think is a bit hypocritical of me, lewl).

early morning Q&A!

@jindra: Just prior warning, Scarlet was summoned near the beginning of the thread. Not the god, but its been shown that the destruction doesn't work on the godmodder, similar to how he was able to block Carmen's ability.

@wyld: I didn't ignore it, your posts are kind of text heavy and I've been having to do the updates later recently, so I'm much more likely to miss stuff, especially since your text heavy is mostly actual commands and not just flavor text. Same with the Warden thing, sorry. Gonna retcon that screw-up to minor Glitching. And you never told me about a final stage in the plans for the fortress, although setting up a self-destruct sequence is within your rights, and the forest won't matter much because anything that survives the blast will be thrown back to the Valley, so just for lore, the forest thing will happen too.

@herobrine: Not a ret-con herobrine, the last battleship wasn't destroyed my friend, it left, still glitched. I've been intending on using that for the glitch event since it got Glitched, all the way back then. This event has probably been simmering in my head the longest, which makes it kind of sad that its the one I've probably thought out the least of the 10 hit point events. So no, not the grox mothership, but one of the battleships. Also, higher gods will be, as stated before, much harder to get help from than lower gods. One more thing! Gcat wasn't in the glitch hub, it was what was teleporting around really fast. And no, I'll be doing Rayquaza.

@shiny/jindra: I don't play Touhou or know any of the various fan adaptations that are accepted as in-character, so other people will have to roleplay them. Scarlet is going to be pretty difficult to get though, she's pretty darn powerful. You might manage it though, I dunno.

@amp: Realism died a horrible screaming death in the very first game, near the very beginning. You're really complaining about the nuke being blocked with an energy construct? I mean, seriously, that's what bothers you?

Pushing against the ETS towards the glitched ship, I turn around, and exhale a massive flame jet from my mouth. Utilizing Newton's Third Law and breaking a few of my bones from the G-Forces, I push the ETS within firing range of the Grox ship.
