@Strategy: Just attack the Godmodder with anything you can think of for now. He's got terror wolves with him, but that is just a distraction.

That's what you can do for now. Keep the Godmodder exactly where he is. Trap him in an endless Rick Astley loop, flash him, I dunno.

@Question to Piono: How well have teamwork attacks worked in the past? For example: Bob fires a gun at X. Jill attaches something to Bob's gun to make it better. Ham influences the shot to make it stronger, etc...

the warden was meant to teleport into the godmodder's fort, but i can work with this. also since the ender dragon never got summoned, should the artifact that you set as meant for him be changed? or is it against something else, or is it eternally useless?

I take direct control of the laser, giving it an attack boost, and targeting the blazes. you know, i hope i get to meet carmen again, never got to really talk to her after that little episode with the godmodder nearly killing her.

shouldn't you be a bi more focused on the task at hand?

the banisher bomber stays in banish mode, and does a bombing run on the pigmen, using their mechanic that causes them to freak out at taking damage and chasing the thing that does them damage to lure them away.

all available armors move into the valley, including the warden, who takes with him the artifact users, but leaves the banishers behind, as well as the flame strikers... and one banisher jumps aboard the frigate before it takes off, and sets it into banish mode as it moves up and fires on the ghasts in a hail of air to air magic missiles Focus fire on the demons!

They do the standard alpha phalanx formation tactics, and have the supporters buff the sheild casting abilities of the defenders, and have the 'unarmed' armors banish everything they can of the enemy that can make it across the lava without dying or just fly over it, and have 'teh damages' shoot them out of the sky in a hail of magic attacks, and the harassers cast blind on skeletal horde.

@strategy-vs-the-mob-army The laval lake will stop most of their troops that aren't lava immune, but we need to focus our attacks on the nether mobs and the skeletons, and hope that someone destroys the spawners.

@Chaos: Make sure to note that Jarate (used in-game for TF 2) drastically increases the chances for Critical hits, as I'm assuming that's what you're trying to do.

EDIT: OUR GOALS ARE LITERALLY LISTED ON THE FIRST POST IN THE FORUM. Apparently, Piono updates that from time to time. LOOK AT IT.

I finally break out of my book. "Good god that hurt..." I put my book out and grab it. I proceed to dash towards one of the towers.

Cannon: 30/30

Over at my bunker, Alpha gets an idea and opens a portal in front of the cannon while another portal opens up near my location, then locks onto the spires and blasts them with the fully-charged cannon via firing into the portal. After that, both portals close. I then proceed to blast both the spires and the mobs with Force Lightning while playing this song to inspire the others. "Let's hope we can destroy these things fast enough to escape this place before whatever Tabbune warned us about hits."

I tell Samaritank to send feds and the Avenger to attack the blazes from the other side of the lava lake. I then teleport to the middle of the blazes and spin in a circle with Excalibur out.

@A thought (and a "World of Cardboard" Speech ): Throughout the entire fight of ours, we'be been fighting like soldiers and warriors. We use only the things available to us, and are operating with the mindset that our "artifacts make us stronger".

They do. but.... aren't we USERS? In the beginning of the Godmodder war, we pulled everything and anything that we could think of.

So here's a thought-

By binding ourselves to what we have made and only using that, have we stifled our own creativity in this endless, bitter war?

I am sent at a really high speed against the wall. As I stand up again, I raise Raikiri, which now glows because Rule of Cool.

As I point it towards the Godmodder's feet, energy is fired out of it. Shall it hit the Godmodder, a large column of energy will engulf him, causing some damage.

I take out a Drax, infact, this is the Drax from my very first post in this thread. I then infuse it with the power of MLG, I kick it, sending it all the way to my home planet in Spore. Most of the population gets noscoped. The ones who survived send a thousand missiles at the Battlefield. I blackmail the guys who sent the missiles, saying if they don't redirect the missiles towards the center crystal thingy, I'll blow up all the planets they own. They then redirect the missiles towards the center crystal.

@Herobrine: Wow, you are seriously going all-out here. Kudos to you, and good luck: You'll need it now. Thanks for telling me everything about the plan, now I can go blow it up! :) :D...On the creativity note, Is it a coincidence I think likewise to you as well? It's even a little enforced, I think: Cobalt's attempt to tear Calamity up via Rubix Cube, in DTG 2, would probably have worked straight-up (though it probably would have dealt about 10-15 K damage). Here it didn't. I was almost surprised. A perhaps more poignant case, and one that I recall while I was playing a little earlier, is Math having to theorize that Creativity (or length, I forget which right now) was a way to increase damage. That theory is completely correct: In fact, it should be the PRIMARY way to increase damage, and (in DTG 2 at least) could even lead to a 50K damage increase or more! I can guess why Piono's targeting Artifacts hard now: To make you think of highly creative ways to murder people. To quote Mathleticism: "WE'RE FIGHTING...TOO NORMALLY!!"...That should go on the Quotes page. All that said, I can appreciate how hard it is to run this game already, much less balance it properly, and charges are a kind of originality...If used originally.

I decide to go back to killing the mobs. I start by sitting behind them and begin open surgery on the spot, staring at the mobs unflinching. I cut myself open and pull the Teleport Module out of my liver and put it in my armor. The sheer uncanny of the sight distracts the mobs as they to back into the lava moat, creeped out by the insane man giving them a death stare while cutting his liver open. After the surgery I close the wound before teleporting to the other side of the moat.

@tazz Yeah creative, cunning, proper attacks get a damage boost. And old stale ones get a minus. But one thing to remember is that we don't have all the bells and whistles here that you do in DTG 2. No spoils, combat operandi, and what have you. The max (from what I can tell, through mechanics explanation earlier) is about 15k without critting.
Also please stop dictating stuff for other players.

Sigh. I give up. I'm reworking the +1 system since people didn't seem to understand it. I'm reforming the rule, you can only claim two +1s from any given post, but you can choose how to distribute them among your charges, since apparently what was the rule before is just too confusing.

Q&A: @tazz: No giving Bill artifacts please, he's already powerful enough. @cobalt: 'fraid not. Is it something I should be aware of? @shiny: Yeah, that'd work, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find him there, either that or the house of gaming. This is the one from Wreck-it Ralph right? @darkness: I'm not talking about not being able to intercept the nether mobs, I never intended for you guys to see them coming in time to stop the summon, I was talking about the fact that the people inside the castle (biggest offenders here are ichigo and tabbune because they're usually the smartest ones strategy wise) with direct access to primary take-down objectives completely ignoring them. It took Ichigo 5 rounds to target the deflector plate, and it took you and ichigo smashing through the ceiling to get him to target the black crystals. @herobrine teamwork attacks tend to work like this: 2 people on the same action is slightly less effective than if they'd both done independent attacks, 3 people is slightly more, and after that, it becomes a combo attack and starts to deal large amounts of damage. @wyld: What do you think? I wouldn't have given you the artifact if I didn't intend for you to use it at some point. Also, sorry, but the idea you had for how the elemental chainaxe is lost has fallen through, h2o has reappeared, and its listed in the item's abilities now that it automatically returns to its owner. @toomany: Just start doing stuff, that's all you need to do. And no one has tried Roxas yet specifically, although you could change that if you so wished, although the time for summoning entities has mostly passed. @h2o: Whoa! You're back! Quite a bit has happened since you left... and you're about to be receiving a present. Consider it me returning the plot-money you put into the bank, plus the interest and stock-market money it has accumulated with it.

@worldofcardboard: Wow. You've been doing your archive bingeing. I have noticed people being... dull, but its partially my fault, I'm making a bit of any effort to reward creativity a bit more, as I haven't been doing that enough. That isn't the reason I'm trying to remove artifacts, that's more focused in the fact that the artifacts have been a headache to keep track of.

@everyone: flghlkhfghlkhlkhflh! Pay attention to where you are! You can't suddenly infiltrate the entirety of the godmodder's castle! I've established this already! You have to find your way in like a regular, rule of causality-abiding citizen! Delphinus opens fire on the terror ghasts, blowing 25 of them out of the air. Ohboy attempts to subject everyone to body horror, but the other players all beat him to a pulp before he can. solarflare heads back to the middle. Amp's mechadendrites use up the last of his ammo dealing 5000 damage to the eastern section of the godmodder's castle, then moves to the valley, firing large quantities of sentrygun bullets into the mob horde, killing 3 mutant zombie pigmen before the mobs chase him out, barely being saved by the 4 mutant wither skeletons that come after him being decapitated by a spinning balsa wood glaive thrown by coolstar. Cobalt moves to the valley, but before he can target the retarded dance van he is driven back to the middle by the massive horde of mutant mobs.

Zbse escapes from his book and enters the southern section of the godmodder's castle. Another area filled with creeper breeding pens. Jondanger attracts a massive barrage of missiles, which slams into the central tower of the godmodder's castle, dealing 20000 damage. Wyld jumps into the laser of the fortress, but discovers that its battery hasn't recharged yet from helping make the lava lake. The SPAMMAs take out 20 mutant wither skeletons. The banisher's bomber does a run over the mutant zombie pigmen, killing 10 of them, but failing to distract the others. The mutant mobs are well trained. All of the armors but the banishers and flame strikers move to the valley, and all of them fall into formation standard alpha phalanx. Wyld suddenly looks to his side, and discovers that the elemental chainaxe is gone... it has returned to its owner, now that h2o is back.

Fseftr starts of the fight by teleporting into the middle of the blazes with Excalibur extended, swinging about in a wide circle. The blazes quickly rise, but 10 of them have already fallen. The mutant zombies and spider jockeys and spiders want to have a chat with fseftr though, and after intense fighting, fseftr can be seen being forced back from the far side of the lava lake, having felled all the mutant spiders, and 50 mutant spider jockeys. the avenger mech snipes 50 mutant creepers as they work forward to try and blow a hole in the lava lake next to fseftr, and the Samaritank uses Send Feds, killing another 150. One still stands of the group that was about to destroy the barrier, and it blows up right next to fseftr, who flies into the lake of lava, and is submerged. Excalibur can be seen on the surface as it slowly melts, Lord of the Rings style.

Everyone readies themselves, the Frigate opens fire on the mutant ghasts, bringing down 10 as the massive white monstrosities move forward, but then the ghasts return fire, their shots are partially magical, and hit several armors inside the frigate, two of the grunts... and the banishment elite. The mutant blazes and ghasts move forward and do a strafing run, some of them get in the way of the StuG's shot, reducing the damage to the eastern section to 20000, but blowing apart 10 mutant blazes. As the mutant zombie pigmen and wither skeletons move across and slam into the alpha phalanx formation, the ghasts and blazes begin their barrage into the rear forces of the AGs, destroying the retarded dance van (sorry engie) and dealing 20000 damage to the StuG as well as 30000 to Delphinus.

Out close to the glitch, shiny resumes his trek to the house of villains. In the northern section of the castle, pillow uses a katamari to roll up 4 more creeper breeding pens, and then launching them into the tower, dealing 10000 damage to the section itself. In the ender portal room, jindra leads HAN-D out before any trouble can start. Unfortunately, it seems like the main way upwards, which appears to have once been stairs, is now collapsed. All the explosions must not have been good for the structure's integrity. He runs into sacred, who had left the nether chamber in a hurry. Tazz follows him. Bill Cipher, lacking any other suitable places to go, and figuring that in this complex must be the best place to cause chaos, also follows... same situation, now with some highly volatile magic aspects with a big gun thrown in.

In the courtyard, darkness launches a pillar of light at the godmodder, but when the energy bolt hits the ground, the godmodder is not there. The godmodder brings the banhammer around, smashing darkness across the courtyard again. Where do you fools always come from? Where!?! Engie faces down the terror wither, charging up the nitrogen gun, which is causing the room to freeze over. Every time! Every, single, stinking time! Loads of you! Out of the woodwork, almost like you were waiting for me! Carmen looks worried, and steals the trajectory of one of the massive wither skull projectiles aimed at engie, rerouting it into a row of the smaller portals, blowing up 20. I am one of the most powerful things there is! I am the descendant of the Psi-godmodder himself! She rushes through to the intersection, the way now clear of magma cubes thanks to a trigger happy Shadow. Carmen stumbles out into the hallway, sees Bill, and stops dead. Oh, what now?! And yet I still can't catch a minute's break. I should be able to grind you all into dust, and yet somehow, I can't. In the main hall, herobrine fires into all the spires, dealing 10000 damage to all six. You just keep on going, no matter what I do, no matter what I throw at you. You all just, keep, coming! Its almost like its a game! The only time I'm ever rid of one of you is if something else catches someone's attention and they leave! Herobrine turns, giving his world of cardboard speech, and the nanomachines, son! creates a minigun that starts killing the mutants that get too close. I seem to have these great reality warping powers, where ever I go, the stories seem to twist in around me, I can beat anyone, do anything... Tabbune unleashes a massive wave of frost at the mutant mobs, undead don't have much body heat, so this completely freezes several rows of mutant mobs, slowing the oncoming tide even more. Except for win! Every time! I'm beaten! Against all. Freaking! ODDS!!! And I'm sick of it! That's why I left Minecraft! I wasn't getting better! It was obvious that as I was, there was just no way I could win... Herobrine is almost tackled as another group of mutant mobs is summoned by the black crystal right behind him... and then h2o, who spawned right where he was needed most, chainaxes clean through them. The two nod to each other and begin hacking down all the mutant mobs they can get their hands on. And I thought the Minecraftians were tenacious! Heck, they are. Some of them followed me here, because apparently ruining the first thing I made myself wasn't enough for them, they had to make sure I couldn't make a comeback! Several of the crystals glow, and there is a roar and a hiss, a mutant wither has been summoned, using up a lot of the energy from the crystals. It blows herobrine and h2o away from the pedestal. But that's too bad for them. Because I'm going to do it anyways. Whether they like it or not. I have plans now, and they stretch into the future, and back into the past, and out across the multiverse. I'm going places. And they, sure as Notch, are not. armored fury makes a halfhearted attempt to shoot the massive flow of mobs, and the mutant wither, now joined by another, turns on him, and begins firing, armored fury barely dodges out of the way. No matter how many contrived coincidences that I face, no matter the number of chosen ones that make their way... I don't care if the multiverse is specifically trying to thwart me for whatever reason! I am going to win, and I am on the road there. The withers hiss, but suddenly, chaos, who was the first to notice that the stream from the drawbridge had slowed and used that advantage to slip inside, fires his table cannon into the fray. He is quickly drowned by mobs, his weapon torn to shreds, but the damage is done. Both mutant withers have been reduced to dust. And this time I'm going to make it stick. Ichigo rises up, and fires his massive laser, bolstered by lightning, combined with the falling rubble from jondanger's barrage, destroys the six black crystal spires and reduces the health of the central crystal to... 1000. Not quite enough. Spawning rate has been destroyed, but the mobs themselves completely overwhelm the players. Oh, I've been monologuing haven't I? Well, at least I caught myself before I revealed my actual plan. I need to kill you now before you escape somehow though. The godmodder brings down his hammer.

The armors take losses from the fight with the large number of undead mutants, to the point that the damage armors are too busy defending breaches in the lines to shoot down the aerial enemies. They continue fighting, even as they take damage, and watch as 10 mutant creepers disrupt the lava lake, making it pour away, allowing the mobs to cross next round. And then suddenly it stops. The undead mobs suddenly all flop over, no longer undead, but just flat out dead. They've been saved. Barely. Back in the main hall, everyone heaves a sigh of relief, having all lost most of their artifacts (except for herobrine's new nanomachines, son!, I'm not that mean. His evility encasement barely hangs on at 1% integrity. Ichigo's sword and the chainaxe also remain in one piece) they all look around to see what saved them. Armoredfury is standing on the pillar, looking slightly scorched, and holding the detonator to one of his explosive charges. The last shot that was needed.

In the nether chamber engie is beginning to be a little worried (not for himself, but for his drone's safety) as the terror wither seems be gathering its energy, when suddenly it shrieks a horrible cry, and falls into the lava far below. It doesn't resurface. In the courtyard, Darkness is barely holding back the godmodder's hammer with his sword. Persistent little bugger, aren't youaahggh and the godmodder doubles over as the magic backlash from the magic holding all of the undead up is suddenly shattered. Darkness seizes the opportunity and slams his sword into the godmodder's face, launching him clear across the courtyard and dealing 1 damage.

Anyways, had I executed that perfectly, the godmodder's monologue would've interspersed the entire bit before the crystals getting totaled, but I didn't come up with the idea until all that was left was the fight in the main hall and the aftereffects of having all the undead suddenly become redead.

And yes, end-of-round stuff was accounted for, I just didn't type it in because I didn't want to spoil the mood.

Null Post

Yup, that's the guy I'm thinking of. I figure that, since both Vanellope's nature as a glitch and this Glitch were not caused by poor programming, but by outside meddling, King Candy should be able to help figure this out. Although, he might need some persuading... I think I have a plan for that.

Also, if anyone in-universe should know of the nature of the TV Tropes world as a virtual world, it would probably be him. That's not so say the other gods wouldn't know that this is a virtual world, but King Candy would know how it is programmed, etc.

Incidentally, this is my second independent quest/adventure, but this one is more... alone and it will probably have more immediate end results.
