"I have, ma'am. What I did will hopefully render it nearly harmless, as the chemical charge in a bomb that size is negligible."

{I don't actually know how many posts per turn we're allowed, so I'll post twice this time. If I should be doing something different, tell me.}

Acting under the assumption that there is some kind of WMD ban in place, I take my cruiser in closer and open up with the point defenses, raining light seeker-missiles and 40mm gatling rounds on the Mutants.

So I ended up GM-ing a thing, oops; http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=149024.870

I pull out a gun from my Hyperspace Arsenal! I begin to fire it in a ring AROUND Calamity. The bullets stop as soon as they reach the same vertical plane as Calamity and immediately turn into ridiculously long spears that impale Calamity through the center from 2,439 different angles, each somehow passing through all the others! Finally, the spears, which are all made of flammable material, burn up, but not before scorching the insides of Calamity as well! I then move to side 2 again to avoid Cal's attack.

Cobalt's Security Essentials: 10/234 ██████████████████████████████▌ (+2 total from me, Twin)
Total Randomness: 22/222 █████████████████████████████▌ (+3 total from me, Tazz, Twin)

@everyone: Again, tell me if I messed up the assists.

Guys, just so you know, since you're all split up, I'm going to format the update based on areas actions are taken in, not order of post anymore. Order is going to be Calamity, castle topside, castle basement, battle.

Q&A: @solarflare: Probably not, although the godmodder's not going to be taking damage from attacks aimed at him anymore. @wyld: There's not much you can do. There wasn't time to intercept the endermen, they just suddenly ported in and took out a whole bunch of people. Watching for enemy movement does you diddlysquat when you only see that they've left and can't tell where they went. Also, you could try taking the godmodder's castle like that. It'd be interesting to see how that ended. @jindra: I've already selected the stats for the mutant mobs. Besides, it equates to basically the same thing here, and it'll be cooler in whatever adaptation comes to be taking on this enormous army of massive beasties rather than just a few. And yes, of course you are. Charges will work much better though. @laitome: no, it shouldn't. You've just got a full area in between you and Calamity, with Calamity thrashing around. And a massive battle going on in between you and your target. Also, that first set of ad blimps was a freebie because it caught my fancy, they'be got a bit much health for you to get them for free. Well, you can summon one at a time, but that's it. @cobalt: you're good.

@everyonewhogotcaptured: You've left the cell, your powers aren't neutralized anymore.

.

Before we begin, we get to the two people not actually with either group at the time. Shiny continues his hike to the house of villains. It is a very long walk, things were much easier when the team had several high-speed flight options. Alas, Latias is no longer around to give him a lift. Sniffle. Amp is about to unleash a nuclear-level firestorm upon the battlefield when he hears a loud scraping. He turns to check the monitors, and sees Rayquaza (the pantheon one this time around folks! greater god! And much more suited to fighting PCs than the gods you fought before, additionally with the aid of this fight taking place on the edge of the range of the OP scale, amp's in for it!) ripping apart the back end of his ship in jealous rage.

Wyld continues using his scythe on Calamity, managing to deal 10000 damage, but he's interrupted partway through the attack by the mutant spider jockeys. Calamity prepares to unleash caltastrophe, but the teleport lieutenant tries to stop it with the puppet stringer. The sword doesn't provide in-depth control, but the lieutenant, after a few moments of scrambling, is able to stop the ability being unleashed by slamming Calamity into the ground face-first again, but Calamity is struggling against the sword more than before, and only takes 15000 damage. The teleport lieutenant keeps hopping back and forth between the ad blimps and is able to avoid the mutant spider jockeys attacking him, but the distance prevents proper use of the artifact. Fseftr charges Calamity with Excalibur, cutting through 2 mutant spider jockeys to get at it, and deals 25000 damage.

Solarflare decides to join the fight against Calamity, and tosses a beanbag at Calamity. It fails to hit Calamity, but in an improbable chain of events, does end up wiping out 3 more spider jockeys. Hoopa warps away from the location back to the main battlefield. Herobrine, having gotten tired of all the petty antics with Calamity, drops himself down in the center of the mutant spider jockeys, and super-wario fartfireballs his way out of their group and up over to the top of the godmodder's castle. 10 spider jockeys are immolated in the blast. Cobalt unleashes another blast of his odd gun, dealing 10000 damage to Calamity with flaming spear-bullets. Although Calamity is indisposed, the mutant spider jockeys are not, as one, they draw their bows, and a storm of arrows slams into the ad blimps deflating both of them, and then turning them into fireballs as they reach the range of flaming arrows. The armors quickly teleport to the ground to avoid burning, but one of the elites doesn't make it. The mutant spider jockeys begin closing on the remainder, but they are evaded, for now.

Math and darkness, deciding that going through the courtyard would be an exercise in idiotic futility, go back up the stairs to regroup with ichigo. Ichigo tells math and darkness to stay under cover, and Alpha tells him that the sounds match no known noise in the database, but that they after some dewarping the sound is similar to the cry of a cat. Darkness, not paying attention to what ichigo and math are doing, peeks out around the corner, notices the massive monstrosity that has locked onto their position, and then turns back around. Before he can tell them that the mutant ghasts have already locked onto them, a fireball blows the tower that they are in to pieces, launching the three of them in different directions, as a number of mutant blazes rise into view. This otherwise dramatic scene is interrupted by herobrine, who was aimed to land himself on the edge of the castle walls, slams into the large plate near the center of the fortress that was not visible before. He bounces a slight bit, but what he recognizes at this short distance as a reflector plate, was not built to reflect something with a velocity as low as his.

Carmen rolls her eyes at engie. Any explosion that takes out any portion of these hallways is going to knock out the stairs too. Wait, exothermic? Might that set the hallway on fire? That might work. Tabbune completely ignores strategy and charges out into the middle of the mutant mobs, beating 3 spiders, 2 zombies and a skeleton to death with glow sticks. You people are really beginning to disappoint me. Shadow melds with the wall sneaking around the two mutant endermen guarding one of the corridors as they teleport over to deal with the rest of the group, he looks at the door... there is a page of zbse's book slipped under it. Carmen sighs, pulls out the dual greatswords, and plants one of them into the chest of one of the endermen, killing it instantly, then cuts her way through a number of the other mobs. The rest of the mutants look at each other nervously. She looks up at your groups. Well? I didn't even learn this stuff legitimately. Are you going to let me outdo you?

The valley suddenly takes on a much more sodden appearance as wyld half-drowns the entire area. This, unfortunately, disables the rest of the landmines. Hoopa takes refuge in the armored ambulance. Armoredfury unleashes a small morale debuff that increases the attack power of the AGs for this round. The AG forces open up with a softening barrage from the artillery forces as Wyld charges forward with his acceleration suit to preemptively take down the first wave attack. The SPAMMA cannons unleash a rain of death, wiping out 75 mutant skeletons, Delphinus blasts into the mutant creepers, taking out another 60 of them with another torpedo blast. Everybody else prepares to attack, and then the lightning cannon goes off. A massive stream of electricity, the biggest lightning bolt anyone on the battlefield has ever seen, rockets into the middle of the mutant mobs. The best that the resulting sound and visuals can be described as is: "a pure electrical nuke". Everyone stops in awe as the massive wave of electrical power, strung along even more by the massive amount of water in the field, rockets around the battlefield. All the armors, being made of metal, take 2000 damage from being so close (even after the massive group healing), and the main battle tank explodes from the overload. The avenger mech, Samaritank and priestess all take 15000 damage. The armored ambulance takes 3000 damage. In the far right, the StuG, fortress shields and SPAMMA cannons all take 5000 damage. 5 of the mutant iron golems and 25 of the mutant snow golems in the middle are killed. The few zombies and skeletons that survive the blast retreat back.

Wyld, standing in his smoking acceleration suit, almost capped out at 99% heat, blinks a few times. Extremely unnerved by the massive lightning blast that he somehow survived being close to the epicenter of.    Hhhhiiiiiisssssssssssssss    Wyld turns to confront the brightly glowing crowd right next to him. Oh s- boom. Wyld is completely blown away by the blast, as is the elemental chainaxe. The massive nuclear explosion created by 40, omega-charged mutant creepers detonating all at once, even from the far side of the field deals significant damage. The armors are able to hunker down and avoid being obliterated, but they take some serious losses, but the other entities that aren't stationed in the wall of magitek take more damage. All of Delphinus's parts take 20000 damage. The priestess is, sadly, completely incinerated, the armored ambulance is nearly tipped over and takes 7500 damage. The Samaritank and Avenger mech both take 45000 damage. The lightning cannon, from both the electrocuting and the explosion, takes 45000 damage. The endermen are too busy teleporting around to avoid being electrocuted to attack.

A few more troops move down from wyld's castle, and Calamity takes 20000 damage from being extremely on fire.

And that, my friends, is why, contrary to what 70 Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries claims, shelling your own position is rarely a good idea.

Didn't expect it to have that much AoE, didja? And I was worried the power level I put it at would make it too hard for me to keep up.

Rp, questions, more.

@piono i.... what? okay i think there was a fairly large miss communication there. that round i had meant for the armors to be watching the backs of the rest of the formation to prevent the enders from popping in and wacking people right in the middle of my formation, like they just did for that round, not about the rescue of players. you even stated that because the enders didn't attack they attacked the zombies instead, and AFTER they finished attacking the zombies, at the end of the round, exactly what i wanted to prevent happen: them popping in, wacking high value targets of mine, and popping back out.

Edit@piono okay re-read it, nevermind i thought you meant about the kidinapped players. for some reason.

And then i hear amps response. i Get all heated and prepare to yell when i remember that my infusion actually did change my body to a girl. Right.

HAH! oh man that's hilarious. No seriously, its just too good.

sigh yeah whatever har har. any ways, I wouldn't be too confident in that statment, that's like asking for something to go wrong.

okay, this is too good. i want to savour this moment.

oh my god, i swear i'm going to kill you if we ever get separated.

that sentiment is one we both share.

its actually supposed to, in universe i have two souls controlling my body currently. one is a guy and one is a girl.

the original owner of the body is a guy, and they both have reincarnation powers, where if they die they revive in a battle ready human form.

unfortunately for him the girl got to pick what they looked like last time they died XD

Ah, I see. :P Well, the main-timeline version of my character, the one in DTG 2, has some pretty weird stuff going on with his souls too, so such things are cool with me. {This one, given that everything actually in DTG 2 can be considered to be stuck there without massive expenditure of power, is a version from an alt-timeline, minus the four-way split and chaotic soul-fusion, and without a godlike AI built into his armor.}

I drench my body in fish oil. Than I take a mentat from fallout and various other intelligence boosts. This raises my fish telekinesis to a higher level. I then start fighting my way through mobs while using the fish oil and telekinesis together like a suit of power armor with hydraulic powers attacks and such.

i then realize that there is one thing that i can do to ensure brain bleach for all involved. i search through hammerspace for a costume.

19/???[pillow][herobrin] 2/???[pillow]

huh, that was kind of awesome, and i honestly should have expected that the creepers would be charged but i didn't think about them, or the fact that swampifying the land before somone fires a lightning cannon into it would be a bad idea either. the way i choose to interpret that is that either i was killed in the explosion and am once again reviving(possibly with the chain axe and acceleration suit due to my strange ability to retain artifacts i had when i died) or i am somewhere in orbit/far, FAR away... either way, this happens, add or subtracting some of the role play. Also, i don't think i sliced cal with my sythe :P you might want to check whose names you use when. oh and also, mine craft creepers took full lightning damage like everything else, they just got an overcharge too.

@jindra maybe, but it did far more damage to them than to us. i mean, 50 of those zombies are about... 100,000 hp. so thats at least(or close too) a million health in total damage. seriously. we came out of that much better off, but i dont think we want to just run in there after them. in fact i'm considering having my army set up just outside the fort, and letting the mutants walk through the easily electrifiable swamp of doom. its new official name is now the swamp of doom.

some where at some point...

okay, that was something different.

yep. one explosion to rule them all..... any ways move over. she says as she sprints at the door.

NOOOOO!!! welp, too late. she bursts through and picks the same body look minus the scars and mask, with my following closely behind with the axe and taking control of the body before we actually get back into the world.

hah, you'll have to be quicker than that!

you know what? Next time don't just sprint for the door, we fight for who gets to pick next time. deal?

you know what? sure. i'll take that. mean while...

The warden, and everyone else in his formation warp everyone they can, including themselves, and hopefully some of the allied entities, into the fort to be repaired, either by the hanger bays or the armor repair rooms, or by the massive amount of novice healers the formation led by the arden now has. which should also double as medical bays. the warden also advises that the samariatank's cannon could probably sit back and completely shell anything that tries to move through the swamp using electrified rounds, originally designed for combatting robotic enemies, but this swamp provides an excellent source of 'entertainment'. before they go however, they try to recover artifacts and rearm the group.

and deep, deep in the fort, a masterpiece rears its head. the dragonfly, the personal vehicle of the warden, has been spawned in and is ready for one ultimate take off, ready for the warden and a crew to board it. the spamma keep aim on the valley, ready to fire on anything that tries to move through to soften them up, and has a captian squad or two guarding them from suprise attacks.

the teleporters, sure that this is the way to do it, does a short ranged teleport inside(or on, but preferably the inside) of calamity, trying to take a more direct control of the beast via stabbing the blade into it, preventing it from doing any proper abilities, AND trying to control it to attack its own forces, its time for that lieutenant to get a crash course in puppet shows. That is what it does if no one accepts its offer of the puppet stringer and takes it, because if somone takes the puppet stringer the teleporter warps back to the fort with the rest of the quite large army.

i absolutely love how both my army, and the army of the undead, are too spooked to stick around in that swamp of doom after that massive electrical storm.

three plus ones.

Deciding that continuing to wait at the ramparts would be an exercise in futility, I activate my cloaking device and sneak away down the stairs before moving on to the Intersection. I notice Carmen and the tropers who had been captured fighting the various Mutant mobs, then decloak and come to their aid by tearing into the Mutant Spiders with the Sword Of Skarra. "Hey, Carmen, good to see you again. Think you could help me find the godmodder's location in this forsaken castle after we mop up these mutants?"

Cannon: 19/30 (Sacred)

Saren: 272/300 (Fseftr)

Three +1s for anyone who wants them.

I thrown a second beanbag at Calamity.

2/3

Now, back to this pretty circle drawing. I make a complete box around the circle, with plenty of room on both ends.

Plan CC: 3/...15ish?

STATS:

Damage: 10,000 damage to everything in a moderate area.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Flavor description: Based of the showings of disrespect caused by many Ganondorf players. This move normally forces you to stand still for two centuries with your leg up high before finally bringing down your foot with enough power to cause a massive explosion to rise up from the ground. Thankfully, due to basic common sense and necessity this unneeded windup has been replaced with a charge time for instant usage. The charge time also increases the power of this move causing an actual eruptions to occur where the user's foot hits the ground instead of moderately sized explosions.

The Unleashing: 30/150 (Shaded, Twin'd, Jon'd, Ichigo'd, Latiome'd) The Elements Ten: 24/225 (Shaded, Twin'd)

I hate RL so much right now, so much.

@pionoThis IS referencing the Oblivion's Topper, yes, and the fact it was Soulbinded (hence it suddenly returned to his head), but in all honesty let us just say that this Tazz is from after DTG 2's conclusion and the Oblivion's Topper took a hard hit from So Last Season due to some Crazy Prepared planning on Richard's behalf.

I immediately reach up and grab a topper atop my head, gray and very clean. The many mutant mobs start looking back and forth at each other, and for good reason; it appears they recognize the hat's...Unusual properties, mainly the fact that it can suddenly (but temporarily) render one's mind completely under the user's thrall, and the fact that they swear to their master's name that they were smart enough to take the hat away from me in capturing me...

However, unknown to them, they are a group of Mind-Control Proof Mooks, and the ability to mentally rewrite an entity temporarily is not within my grasp. It appears the Godmodder decided to give mental protection to more entities than he did before. Shame. However, they don't look nearly as fireproof.

Without much warning, I tip the hat forward slightly, and fires of an odd Amethyst color envelop the Mutant Iron Golems as my hat glows an odd Orchid Color. To make sure they take some serious damage, I then quickly throw some water baloons contianing liquid grease onto the Mutant Iron Golems as they burn.

[PRIOR DATA EXPUNGED] "So, [REDACTED], does this [REDACTED] interest you at all?" "Hehehe, I like how you [DATA EXPUNGED] and basically plan to [DATA EXPUNGED]. The whole [REDACTED] is also absolutely brilliant! It's like you got a tiny little bit of [REDACTED], and that I rarely say to anyone! I definitely prefer you to [REDACTED]! However, you are, well, you, and though it does interest me greatly..." "What?" "Well, for one, I know for a fact that I will be [REDACTED] by the [REDACTED]. It's pretty much inevitable at this point! For another, even with my [REDACTED] it will take [REDACTED] to even get in range of the [REDACTED], much less actually start [REDACTED]...Plus, [REDACTED] will almost certainly notice. And [REDACTED] will definitely [REDACTED]." "OK, now, what if I told you that there is a [REDACTED] that will [REDACTED], allowing you to [REDACTED] without fear of [DATA EXPUNGED]?" "...Now I'm listening." [FURTHER DATA EXPUNGED]

@ Darkness: For your weapon, just put the charge and something along the lines of ‘Activated’ at the top of your next post, then you can summon your artifact. Just so it’s obvious enough.

Pick myself up, dust myself off. “Umm… looks like they found us. But Herobrine’s here! That’s makes me feel a little better.”

I put my hands together, chanting some mysterious words. My hands part and a large red ritual circle expands between my hands. My chanting gains speed and the circle begins rotating, slowing vibrating in mid-air. Then, the circle stops suddenly, a giant blood-red hand flies out and beats the tar out of a ghast, before throwing it into another ghast. It then disappears in a poof.

40/150 Mister Klaw! (darkness)

2 +1s to Darkness, +1 to anyone else.

The wrath of the Greater God Rayquaza tears the entire aft section of my hundred-meter-long superluminal heavy reconnaissance cruiser apart, shattering the main reactor and Fuel Containment, and releasing a good thirty metric tonnes of anti-hydrogen into the upper atmosphere. The resulting blast instantly burns the nineteen non-player members of the crew into nothingness and quickly builds itself into a high-gigaton-range fireball, striking a sore blow against even a god and setting half the planet afire with thermonuclear heat and intense radiation. Only an extremely high-altitude airburst even saved the world from being simply torn apart, and as it is much of the atmosphere has been burned away.

I fall out of the sky, thanking my ablative plot armor, and deploy the Demimech-b.5 Powered War Armor in my inventory, bringing myself up to proper combat effectiveness and usefully saving me from anoxia in this suddenly-airless world.

Demimech Initial Startup, allowing it to be remotely useful as a powerup, 1/10, just for starters.

{Edit; This should count as a general-target attack against whatever you feel like having die, unless they could reasonably be protected against such a blast, or you in fact intend me to fight a god face-to-face, something to which I am not averse, provided you give me freedom of imagination to strike with.}

"Put simply, this explosion will set most of everywhere within 100 meters on fire, convert some of the ground into perpetually burning red rock, and dump lava in a few places."

I then launch the Exothermic missile, which lands in the center of the group of mutants... Where it promptly does nothing due to no direct sunlight.

"...I forgot about that. Oh hey, I can do this!"

The drone's eyes glow red, then a gigantic beam of light (also red) blasts into the Exothermic missile, causing it to sheen loudly, then explode. The mutant nearest to it instantly collapses into a pile of ash, while the others burn not quite as quickly. As the area of flame and heat expands outwards, I suddenly remember that not everyone of us is fireproof, and solve the problem by generating gray spherical shields around everyone, repelling the lethal aspect of the heat.

Incidentally, I feel as if I should be joining a group or something, and since I'm on the ground now, can I get an explanation of what that should be? If that means I should just go finish reading the OP, I'm good with that.
