I start charging up a summon for ten posts.

Marp. Essentially, a post for a turn involves three things.

One: A description of what you did. If you go somewhere, tell us. If you yell something, tell us.

Two: A charge counter. If you've got a 10 post charge, then you'll set it up like x/y, where "X" is the amount of charges you have so far, and "Y" is the max.

Three: One free action. This involves anything, and I mean anything, so long as your physical character can reach and hit what they're aiming at. If your "character" is in the house of Defense, he can't hit me, who's 2 levels down in the House of Mentality. You cannot physically controlling a character that is not yours. I cannot grab Tabbune and use him as a human shield. I cannot grab one of his characters either.

Your physical location is determined in part by The Powers That Be pionoplayer and where you say you are. Make sure that wherever you drop is within reason.

Conversely, I cannot write that my punch sends a character through the door. I can write that the punch is thrown, but not if it connects OR if it works.

You are allowed two posts. Each one of your posts may increase each charge by one point. You have a maximum of 2 charges right now. I think you can have three, but if you're just coming in, limit it to two.

You can claim other free posts from other players but only if they are not taken. You must write down which free ones you claim, and from which people. You may donate 3 charge points to any one, or leave them freely hanging.

Your ultimate goal is to have fun, try not to destroy anyone else's fun, and don't touch things that aren't yours, cause there is a TON of debris and assorted entities out there.

Otherwise, DESTROY THE GODMODDER

HOLY UPDATE POSTS BATMAN!!! Seriously, I need to be more diligent about updating every day if I'm gonna get stuff like this. Not a bad thing, I was just a bit surprised when I came back on earlier today to check on things (at school, so I didn't have time to do an update) and discovered that I had three and a half pages to do. Not sure whether to cheer, cry, or a little bit of both.

Anyway, welcome to all the new guys (and gals if that's what some of you are), I hope you enjoy your stay enough to, well, stay.

Q&A: @shiny: okay, go ahead and hold onto them when you get them back, and don't worry, Knuckles will be heading back to the house of beasts, and then the house of defense if you've gone back by that point. He might have a bit of trouble with paranoid storm troopers, but he'll deliver on his own. And no, there's not any gameplay related debuffs. And yes, you are in fact playing a person who is playing a person. @wyld, you are correct on both accounts. You guys being clever like that is probably the main reason I'm able to keep myself interested in this. No, you're not locked up, if you were your infusion wouldn't be able to act either. And no, you could contribute, its just that the first few weren't very effective. You're still probably better off going for the godmodder, those mega bots will be gone in a round or two anyways. @sacred: I don't think Arkus should have knowledge of it, it wasn't a doomed timeline, it just didn't happen. But whatever, we'll pretend something screwy like that did happen, but if an adaptation ever takes place, its gonna have to do a different intro for Arkus. @fseftr: Well then. I suppose that works, as there is precedent for her doing that. @herobrine: That's actually a pretty good idea, in fact, the entire page needs lots of love since I don't have time to coddle it anymore. @zbse: Okay then. @pillow: That means you are someone 'playing' tvtropes, and yeah, there's no debuff or anything like that. @ichigo: Only three posts dude. Its normally two, and only goes up to three if I miss an update. @jindra: Okay then. @marp: Um... sacred... sort of got the gist of it? What's happening is that there's currently a raid on the house of defense being conducted by the godmodder and his accomplices, and they seem to be winning, or at the least not losing definitively, even though their mooks are getting slaughtered. @hyena: Huh. @paradise: the power of the attack is usually around 1000 multiplied by the charge amount, with the higher the charge amount, the higher the chance of its power being amplified.

Anyway, to marp, infinity and elementis. herobrine's explanation was a bit overboard, but essentially what most people do, I'd like to make some slight ammendments. part 1 is optional, sometimes people put out-of-character questions to me in spoilered text, top of the post is the best place to put it. next you put any roleplaying or story-focused actions if you have any. These should generally avoid directly affecting the battle at hand. Next you do your charges (as described by herobrine) and finally whatever your free action (usually a one-off attack) that post is going to be.

Jondanger rolls the battle dice, attempting to steal the Monado. Needless to say, the battle dice aren't charge nearly enough to teleport something directly out of the vault, I mean, come on! How stupid do you think the pantheon is? Troll stalks into the house of defense. None of the pro-godmodders attack him, they're sort of occupied right now. Herobrine continues descending into the house of mentalism. Such ominous. Much freaky. Shiny prepares to leave. Pikachu nods, and then rushes back into the house, Greninja expresses a desire to come help out. Then you both turn around and see the explosion in the distance. (that would be from the airship) Ichigo rushes into the house and blasts his neutron rifle at Luthor. The shields on Luthor's mech flare up. Looks like you're gonna need some serious fire power to be able to even hit him.

Troll dumps a pile of chaff grenades on Starscreams, expecting them to incapacitate him, but is surprised when a sudden burst of energy blasts the grenades away. Yes... This is very useful. Wyld's infusion cuts its way through the megabots, cutting down about 8 of them. Its hard to avoid friendly fire though, pretty much every pantheon-aligned unit is firing on the mega bots. Lord Herobrine stops and has tea. While having tea, he discovers a page from zbse's book being used as a napkin, he quietly pockets it. Sacred's two aspects begin tearing through the megabots, together downing another 13. Jindra shoots a mega bot out of the air. Ichigo, his shot having failed, launches himself towards Lex Luthor, who is laying down suppressive fire on the men in black, and turns around just in time for ichigo to sock him in the face, launching him backwards and dealing 10000 damage.

Wyld charges into the house of defense and launches him/herself at Starscream, throwing Frostmourne right at the bot's chest. Starscream whirls around and brings the chainaxe right down on top of the blade, which explodes. Frost shards launch everywhere, dealing another 5000 damage to Lex Luthor, as well as 5000 to the Death Egg. One of the unfortunate 501st isn't quite elite enough, and takes an ice spike through the chest. On the ground at Starscream's feet lies the hilt of Frostmourne, the blade shattered fully. Yup, not getting that back. Wyld is launched to the far side of the room by the ice blast, failing to actually hit Starscream. Paradise pulls out an AK-47. As it turns out, the megabots are shielded, but due to them being mooks, the shields are not good enough to keep three of them from going down. Pillow suddenly begins glowing ominously, and suddenly a massive beam spam storm is unleashed from him, unleashing massive amounts of the brimstone lasers throughout the room, vaporising one unfortunate ODST soldier and 3 501st elites, but dealing 100000 damage to both the death egg and Lex Luthor's suit.

Jindra switches to taking down mega-bots, firing a large electrified net that takes down 4 of them. Arkus casts his massive attack, and Starscream, grinning evilly, swings around the elemental chainaxe, freezing the wall of electrified water, then shattering it, sending a wall of lightning-ice back at Arkus. Shadow is batted unceremoniously from the air by the godmodder as he stands there, agape at what just happened. Paradise tapes some armor to the house of defense, seeming to forget that it took dual godmodder-super charge mega lasers to deal any real damage to it, while all it took was a few star fighters and a few cannons to trash the armor. Fseftr shoots a few of the mega bots with a rocket launcher, destroying 2 of them. Fseftr then shrinks five more of them, causing physics to set in and them to explode from energy overload and other sciency-type stuff (that sentence was painful to type)

Zbse makes a mad dash to GLaDOS's temple, only to not only find it completely intact, but the only temple in the base to still be at full power. And there are lots of really angry turrets waiting out in front. Wyld flips over Lex Luthor, grabs his head, and then yelps in pain and lets go after getting a nice singe from kryptonite shielding, then knocked to the far side of the room once more. Fseftr melts 3 more mega bots. Jindra tosses the massive railgun to the side, and enters the house of defense. Arkus, still not dissuaded by the spectacular failures of his earlier attacks, continues trying to take down starscream head on without assistance, and is met with a blast from Starscream's arm blasters before he can set off the spell. Pillow creates a massive gif and throws it at the death egg, dealing 4500 damage.

Troll tries to plunge his hand through Starscream, who just socks him in the face, then slashes through where he is with the chainaxe. Troll quickly dodges out of the way. Ichigo launches at Luthor again, pushing him back slightly using the dark Master sword, the fight isn't easy though, and ichigo is for some reason having a hard time landing hits. Hyena rushes into the house of defense, and looks over Luthor's armor. It doesn't seem to have any significant weak points. That doesn't keep hyena from planting an arrow in Luthor's chest or 10000 damage though. Tabbune retreats a bit and summons the frozen skull. Paradise deploys landmines, never mind the fact that the mega bots are all flying. Paradise tosses an EMP into the mega bots, destroying 5 of them. Marp performs an epic fart. Truly the most epic fart since the beginning of DTG. five mega bots are consumed in awe of this fart.

Hyena ignites Lex's power armor, or tries. The armor quickly puts itself out. Paradise home-runs a mega bot into three other mega bots. Tabbune realizes that Nissa shouldn't be flying, it is hand-waved away as her using a really fast tree. Tabbune launches lightning at the mega bots, destroying 6 of them. Shiny, running quick recon with Greninja close behind, discovers that the house has a massive gash in its roof, and that the forces outside are doing some mopping up of the forces of robotnik and wily. Two new players arrive. Elementis's attack sort of works... which in and of itself is amazing, him being new and all... perhaps its linked to something special (its not him specifically, its a byproduct of something else that might get explained one day) but it ends up not mattering when the godmodder simply sidesteps the beam of energy.

End of Turn Battle:

hyena's avatar uses innocent monster, trashing 30 of the mega bots with the massive attack. Nissa uses worldwake, summoning a mass of forest elementals, which launch a massive attack on the megabots with the aid of the star fighters. 5 B-wings and 3 forest elementals are destroyed, but they quickly pull out of the quick attack just as the forces on the roof of the house of defense, no longer scattering trying to preserve themselves, are able to put together a coherent firing barrage. The Mega bots go down in seconds, unable to deal any effective damage at all. Delphinus regains 5 AP.

Megaman rushes into the house of defense as the brawl inside gets really nasty. The 501st attempt to lay a cover of fire down on the armored suits in the center of the room, but a rocket blast from Luthor kills 10 of them and scatters the others. The ODSTs who were attempts to loop around get caught in the wave of destruction radiated by the death egg. All of them are killed. The death egg gets blown backwards from shots from various weapons on the part of the men in black, taking 75000 damage, but that isn't enough to stop it. Captain America throws his shield at Starscream, who knocks it to the side, grabs Cap and is about to chainaxe him when Starscream gets hit in the back of the head with a rifle round from Littner, who quickly moves position as Starscream turns to take her out, and is then distracted again by Vader's assault, which tears a nasty chunk out of his arm before the sith it blasted across the room by Luthor, who has finished dealing with the 501st elites. Master Chief is sparring with the godmodder, the two are exchanging quips which I surely would type out here were I not dead tired.

The godmodder hears the rising crescendo of the AA fire outside, and decides its time to leave, preventing Megaman from getting in on the action by knocking Master Chief into him with the banhammer. We're moving. Now. The godmodder and his lackeys rush out. Zbse is blasted away from GLaDOS's doors by Luthor before he can do anything, and the four figures (Wily and Robotnik both in the death egg) rush into GLaDOS's temple. Wait. They rush in. Completely unintercepted. Uh oh. Back in the main foyer, people are more occupied with the sudden boss monster the godmodder has left behind. Terror Guardian summoned!

Note: Okay, you guys seem to miss the gravity of the interior brawl. This isn't like the earlier fights where you were up against gods who were off-guard, expecting an every day tumble. These guys are prepped for war, and are fighting as hard as they can. Also, one of them is a greater god, and the godmodder has powered all of them up. If you want to win that fight, you'll have to fight smarter. Of course, right now you have to beat up the terror guardian, but once that's over with, you'll have some more roundabout fights to deal with.

Anyway, the fight on the outside is gone. I'm going to clean that up tomorrow and remove units no longer important (conservation of detail and all that) (yours won't be removed since you'll be keeping those, even those like Delphinus that won't be useful again until the current thing is done). Don't worry about the monstrous health of the terror guardian, the nether mobs had more, and you took those down fairly easily with the help of only one god, and an intermediate one at that. You've got master chief on your side, plus others. You'll be fine. In fact, I'm almost worried the fight isn't hard enough again.

Anyway, sorry if it seems rushed, I slept really badly last night and I can barely see straight. G'night all.

I grin. Starscream never noticed me lodge an emp grenade in his chest, which should be going off about... now.

I contact Saxton Hale and ask for his assistance in battling the godmodder and his lackies, making sure to appeal to Hale's pride by telling him that by defeating the godmodder, Hale's status as the ultimate manly man will be more than confirmed. As I wait for Hale's response, I fire proton torpedoes at the Terror Guardian.

I suddenly glare at the temple and start attacking anything and everything that gets in my way in a rage, even if it is my allies.

Effects: 1: Scratch damage, and hurts me. 2: Knocks a target off balance. 3: Breaks through enemy defenses. 4: Inflicts a 'Bleed' Status that saps the enemy's health 5 electric 6: fire 7: Restores energy to me or one nearby ally. 8: Ice 9: Non-elemental attack that does a large amount of damage to the target.

I have Latias set up a Light Screen to defend against the Terror Guardian. Light Screen is a large enough barrier to protect at least a few players or entities at once.

Gizoid: 90/100 (jin) As promised, here are the details: 60,000 HP. The Gizoid has reasonable speed and defense, but below average attack. However, it makes up for it with sheer versitility. It can learn any techique or attack it witnesses, (except magic) and reuse them with ease. Its duplicated attacks will have 80% of the original attack's power.

Hoopa 3/250 (Jin, wyld) The newest event Pokemon was recently revealed in Japan. I'm not saying what I have planned for it, though.

I take my hammer and strike at the Terror Guardian, leaving the safety of the Light Screen. I hope I get a '5'. Here goes nothing!

   "Alright, looks like I'm the voice of logic here. AND I'M NOT EVEN SANE! GYAHAHAHAHAHA!" Excuse me."   

   Shadow    pops up next to Fury and Arkus.

   "Listen to this: If you keep trying to rush on in there WITHOUT A PLAN, you'll just be more harm than help. Arkus, you're NOT perfect. You have too much pride. Fury, be PATIENT. You have TOO MUCH of a temper, even for the FRACKING ASPECT OF ANGER. We need to CALCULATE THIS."   

Arkus and Fury are about to protest, but    Shadow    slaps some sense into them.

   "So let's do something... Ah! The Guardians are just blowfish with a single eye instead of a face. It fires lasers. I know another cycloptic laser-shooting monster: GOHMA! Gohma's weak to bows! Let's try that on this oversized sushi!"   

   Shadow    presses a button on his coat, and a wrist-mounted crossbow extends out of the cuff of his sleeve. Fury extends quills from his palm, and, with an unnecessary shout of "BLINDING ARROW!", Arkus primes a light-arrow spell.

   Shadow    calls to the other tropers.

   "Can someone help us out?"

Ok, marp, infinity and elementis, I think that perhaps annotating one of my posts will help you see how we do things normally. green text is just annotation, something I would not normally have in my post. mind you, most of the plyers have their own styles, but i think my own is pretty intelligible for a newbie. feel free to copy it if you have to.

• I usually start my posts by displaying my summons as such:

• 63/200 Zhukov's army -Jindra Shiny Sacred simple format. "current charge/intended charge" "name" "-people who's summons i claimed". I often use shorthand for the names.
• 16/30 Heavy Weapons Guy -Shiny, sacred
• You get two charges yourself per post, and you cannot invest them both in the same summon/attack. You also cannot claim more than one charge from the same post for a single summon. (if charges are available from more than one of the same user's posts, you can charge the same summon twice. In that case, you should list the user's name twice next to the summon.

don't know about you guys, But I have a hunch that leaving the godmodder's allies outside unmolested is probably not a good idea. what do the rest of you think? - I use red text to indicate things i say in-character. This (usually) isn't a counted action, and mainly serves for communication and/or trash talk

free action: I squirt large volumes of quick-curing industrial adhesive at Starscream, hoping to slow his movements.

• this short sentence is the meat of my post. this describes which actions my character takes, or attempts to take, this turn. You don't need to be very wordy, but be a little descriptive. if you just say "I attack enemy so-and-so", your attack is probably going to do little damage. Also, your action does not need to be an attack: you can try to do anything. (success not guaranteed.)

Aids: 2x to herobrine, up for grabs. These are summon charges I give out. You will probably have a better reputation if you give them out too. general rule is that any charges not specificly given to a specific user (like the two i have to Lord Herobrine) can be claimed by anyone.

One last thing: notice how Starscream has no HP indicator. This means to fight him you engage in a "non-stat fight", where your effeciveness depends entirely on the description of your free action (commonly called "flavor text"), with little baring on how much damage you would normally do. So giving yourself an "attack-up!" buff won't help in such a fight.

While waiting for a response from Saxton Hale, I broadcast a transmission to all the AGs in the air. "If you guys could head on over to GLaDOS's temple to battle the godmodder and his band of baddies, that would be appreciated." After that, I blast the Terror Guardian with Force Lightning.

I pull out something I've been saving. Everyone get your brain bleach ready. I put on a guardian costume and try to seduce it. It is a paper thin disguise that makes all look on in confusion. I broadcast the scene to all robotic based enemies processors. THIS IS STUPID BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE LOGICAL RIGHT NOW, I yell out loud. Hopefully I can logic bomb some enemies or even damage the guardian with squickiness.
