Q&A: @wyld: Alright then. As for Master Chief and the ODST... did you really think they weren't going to get involved already? Currently they're finishing up the clean-up operation over by the house of villains, but they'll be here soon. @jon: over to the left of your text box when you go in to type your post, just above the ad is a bar labeled 'show markup help', that'll tell you how to do most of the markup stuff you might need help with. @troll: Yeah, those particular deities won't get involved. It wasn't the pantheon member Rayquaza that got summoned (remember, other universe crap heavily involved in a lot of DTG) and as for Rayquaza, you guys aren't in the ozone layer, so the fight probably won't bring it in. @shiny: I'll look at them and see. @hyena: I suppose... I'm not really sure. Rayquaza is very destructive, and such a tome wouldn't really be able to take into account the true scope of the godmodder conflict. @jindra: Yeah, that works. @paradise: How do you think I feel, I just realized I'm gonna have to be working on these updates at school, or at least trying to. @pillow: not sure isaac would want to get involved in this. He is just a kid. @pillow: superman's a greater god, and even if it is Lex Luthor, there's an unusually large pantheon civil war going on right now, remember? Intermediate gods are small fry to what's going on right now.

Wyld sets up a portal pad, allowing people to come in and join in the sidequest, but it'll only work on the exterior, as it seems some of the damage you were dealing to the ship before they threw up the defenses destroyed the rear-most shield generator. Jondanger prays to the pikmin... there doesn't seem to be much of a response. The pikmin aren't really all that bright. Jindra moves to try and attack one of the rear shield generators, but is forced back by the wave of energy blasts from the turrets and point-defense lasers. That's really too much to try and tackle on your own for a short-ranged shot. Ichigo rockets towards the hole in the hull, unleashing a barrage of energy bombs that destroys three of the turrets on the rear edge.

Pillow begins to lead the group forward a bit more, but they are almost immediately confronted with more lexcorp juggernauts. Latias sends out a mental call to several gods within the house of beasts. Volcarona and Reuniclus are busy with other chaos in the pantheon currently going on, but Greninja comes out, wondering what is so urgent, and Pikachu comes out, just flat out curious. Hyena fires bolts from the Excalibur image at the energy turrets in the rear, destroying 4 of them. Hyena searches the pages, no, Rayquaza is not listed. Jindra calls for megaman, then directs R-902 to attack the rear drone bay. Ichigo catches up with the others within the airship very quickly, as they haven't gotten very far. Zbse rushes ahead to the house of defense, and sees... war preparations. These aren't hurried, it looks like they've been preparing for something, quite possibly this very event. There is a call, the message seems to be from one of the 501st. "Identify yourself please, we are currently in a soft lockdown, and failure to identify yourself will result in your termination."

Fseftr randomly EMPs some of the turrets, destroying two on the rear. Pillow becomes very confused, and throws mom's knife. Somehow, the weapon pierces its way through the plating of the hull. It doesn't hit the shield generator, but it does take out a turret before returning to pillow. Shiny searches the grounds, and fights yet another page. Fseftr descends and stands between two of the turrets, moving out of the way just in time for them to shoot each other. 2 more turrets destroyed. Paradise launches a missile towards the front, it is taken out by the defenses before it gets halfway there (which is to say, no long-ranged attacks will work on the front half until the rear half has been dealt with) Wyld tosses ichigo the dark master sword, and then attempts to summon some shades and wisps. The group feels a pulse and the wisps and shades are dispersed. Looks like they have defenses against incorporeal entities as well. We should... Oh. Carmen looks taken aback. That's... odd. I don't actually know. I suppose we should try to find some sort of power center, if we can shut down their defenses, we won't have these bots on our tails.

Wyld gets a response. From Master Chief. "Reading you loud and clear. A handful of gods have been informed about what's been going on. Judging from your current trajectory, you will be right on top of us in not too much longer. Don't worry, we've pulled out the big guns already. There's a lot of s*** going down right now though, so most of the pantheon is otherwise occupied. Anything that might catch their attention at this point is going to be something we want to avoid." Ijona joins the others on the ship, then joins in the fray with the lexcorp juggernauts. Hyena begins launching thunderbolts at the rear portside turrets, taking down 3 of them, but has a hard time dodging the massive number of return fire. Tabbune takes down the last turret with a massive blizzard strike. With the last piece of defense equipment down, you can directly target the ship's plating in that area.

End of Turn Battle

Nizza summons another forest elemental, and stays closer towards the back to avoid taking fire. The R-902 moves down around to the bottom, and with a massive blast from its cannon... deals only 10000 damage to the drone bay and is quickly forced to turn tail and retreat out of auto-cannon range. Those shield generators are seriously messing with your attacks. The Halberd moves around to the top, supported by a number of the X-wings. The Halberd takes down 3 of the turrets, while the X-wings in the group take down one of the point-defense lasers and 10 of the turrets, but 20 of the X-wings go down in the fight. The Halberd takes 15000 damage. The rest of the X-wings go around the two sides, taking down 10 turrets on the Rear Portside and Starboard, but because of the rocket pods, take much heavier casualties, losing 60 of their number. The Y-wings take long-distance shots at the shield generators in the rear, dealing 10000 damage to one and taking out another of the point-defense lasers. Long shots from the rocket pods bring down 10 of the Y-wings.

Inside the airship, the fight with the juggernauts begins. Sandiego's juggernauts open fire, distracting the five at the end of the hallway, Sandiego herself rushes in and steals the power core out of two of them, and a third is gunned down by Sandiego's. Sandiego's both take 4000 damage though. Meanwhile, up at the house of beasts, Tails finally comes outside with Knuckles. Tails stops as he sees the two pokemon, confused. Knuckles walks over, looking both a little irritated and a bit concerned. Okay, what's this I'm hearing about broken chaos emeralds? Back up in the main battle, ten Lexcorp drones come out of the bays, preparing to attack, when the new reinforcements arrive. A small squadron of B-wing fighters arrives, backed up by two full squadrons of A-wings. The A-wings swoop in and take down half of the Lexcorp drones before they can get off any shots, and the others head back to more well-defended airspace. Then a voice is heard, You guys called? Megaman, having gotten a hold of some sort of flight upgrade, has joined the fray.

You've already started making a dent in the airship's defenses. You can barely make out the house of defense on the horizon. You'll be there soon.

I introduce the Pokémon to Tails and Knuckles. Greninja and Pikachu were combatants in the last Smash Tournament. They know Sonic from there, and I know them from there homeland. The first thing I need to do is with Knuckles. I present to him the damaged Chaos Emeralds. I heard that the Master Emerald can restore them. If their power returns, we may be able to find Sonic.

I may be juggling a handful here, dealing with both the Civil War and my Chaos Emerald arc.

"My name is Zed Damascus." I reply.

"You really need to up the defence right now and as soon as possible because soon it will be a living Hell here. You might want to also get all the artifacts sealed away so that way nothing can get to them because there is a group after them, led by a man called the Godmodder. I am just here to make sure he doesn't get them first."

If he heeds my warning and let's me in, I rush to the G La DOS temple and try to get to the vault to begin sealing the vault into a page as a way of hiding it.

If he decides to terminate me, I pull out my book and try to warp to a page that could very well be inside the pantheon of defense or, extremely unlikely, inside the vault.

Well THAT didn't go as planned...

I decide to take matters into my own hands. I teleport to the place where they keep all the treasures in the pantheon, go over to the weapons, and begin rummaging through them.

Let's see here... Master Sword, no... Blue Shell, not what I'm looking for... AHA! HERE IT IS!

I grab the Monado, teleport back, and slash at one of the Lexcorp Juggernauts.

Fucking robots. We don't have time for this. I start to go demolition style on this ship and throw explosive materials at the wall. They will now detonate. Btw can you tell us our location on the ship so I know what I can go for? Anyways until we get the shields down only we can be on the ship so it's our priority. Unless we get Carmen to steal the shield. Let's just pray to the RNG that the odds will be in our favor

Looks like its time fo the pride of the Valuan Armada, the finest ship ever stolen by the Blue Rogues Delphinus (275/275 ichigo, paradise, paradise, troll, jon)

The Delphinus having just arrived will fire its torpedos at the healthier rear shield generator, its main turret at the rear drone bay, and have its two secondary turrets each aim at a different rear engine. No special shots.

I turn to Pikachu and Greninja. Sorry for the hold up. As you probably know, the Pantheons are involved in a war. Some friends of mine are mounting an assault on the House of Defense, which seems to have been taken by members of the House of Villains. They could use all the help they can get. I'm working on my own project to aid the cause, but for now, I'd like if you two can help them without me.

As I think of a good plan of attack, I tear into a Lexcorp Juggernaut with the Dark Master Sword while my armor's AI contacts Alex J. Murphy, aka Robocop in an attempt to get him to join the battle.

@Piono:So I was thinking of getting Robocop involved because the godmodder's a pretty big-name lawbreaker, so Robocop, being who he is, will naturally wanna take him down. He's also an intermediate god, so it shouldn't cost the Pantheon too much if he were to join the fray.

Satisfied my allies have the mooks under control, I Cast a spell of clairvoyance, which leads a trail of colored mist only visible to the caster to its target. forget that carmen, most of us are nigh immortal, they may slow us down a bit but taking their producer down will slow us down even more... this thing needs taken down though, so how about the engine room? i'm betting it has access to just about everything on the ship, even if they cut our access from the bridge we can just smash everything beyond repair in a minute or two.

I finish the spell and lead the way, with my handy mostly new axe at the ready to retaliate to the first one to try and stop us.

ALRIGHT, large change of plan: we need to take down as many of the defense emplacements as we can., otherwise it will be impossible to maneuver around, and our allies are already taking severe casualties.

And on another note... <paradisedj32 gets out his cellphone and call a certain number located in the house of ranged and explosive weapons. Hello, is this Yoko Littner? it is? good. There's a big fight going on against an entity called the "godmodder", who has somehow turned Lex Luthor to his side, and both are now haulled up inside luthor's stupidly large airship.

Now here's the thing: That bloody airship has lots and lots of short-range point-defense weapons, which are wreaking havoc on our allies and intercepting out attacks. With your kill with that large-caliber sniper rifle, You are urgently needed at the battlefield. The weapon emplacements aren't sturdy, so a single hit is enouth to take one down.

(OOC: If it wasn't clear, I called for help from the god of sniper-rifles, yoko littner. I hope my flavour text was both suitable and not overly purple.)

While I think of a God to call, and ticked off at STILL being outside, I decide to benefit the effort by killing a turret or two. As a means to this end, I spit a ball of plasma into one of the turrets, hoping to destroy it by making it backfire. Then, I draw a Rapier, and attempt to imitate Meta Knight's Tornado attack by spinning sword-first through a row of turrets.
