Free action: using a conveniently-located huge mario-style springboard, I bounce up into the breach in the airship, Goomba stomping a defender as I land.

After ninja-style running on air, I stop short with a leap to a neutral place by my fellow Tropers and grab Troll and Paradise with threads of darkness, reeling them back from their suicidal charge. I raise my hands in a "stop" signal, with my eyes wide, the only expressiveness my covered face can have.

   "STOP! Think RATIONALLY! Rayquaza would NOT like this! This is a Force of Nature we're talking about! HONOR his name! You guys think you can take them on alone? Don't let your emotions control you! Now, I'll release you when we think of a GOOD plan. Got it? And how did Wyld get the Chainaxe?!?"   

I look at the two, stop short of slapping them, and facepalm. I set them down, release the threads binding them, and look at them with a hardness in my eyes.

well, it's clear we have to stop tis airship somehow, so we can keep battering that power-hungry loon.

Free action: I break down the nearest wall in the ship with a sledgehammer, and start tearing apart inportant-looking wires/electronics. what era of tech does this run on again? (I know sacred tried to restrain me, but being that he was already in the air and I was on the ground untill I found the springboard, he couldn't restrian me untill i was already on the airship.)

Okay, I've decided I'm not going leave up the memo while I'm updating, because when that happens, it takes me forever to update. Feel free to check if I'm on periodically. If I'm on, the memo is up.

Q&A: @sacred: Okay. Seriously dude. Get with the program, people have been going to all different places, you were with everyone else, and shiny's off on his own little thing. You're not going to do anything right if you keep pulling Oooh Shinies!! on us. @shiny: oh yeah, you guys'll be getting there on that first post. @wyld: I am aware, I've actually seen some of those, and they're never any good. Synesthasia can't handle that many notes at once and every gets all muddied and it sounds absolutely horrible. Most of the time the majority of those notes are made ridiculously quite and are just there to try and make patterns with the on-screen notes. @fseftr: Mr. Welch's List @tabbune: No +1s from the forest elementals.

Also: O_O You guys are seriously flipping out about Rayquaza. Wow. First summon to get real characterization and everyone acts like their best buddy ever has been brutally murdered. Wow. Not sure whether that's a good sign for the evolution of plot or a bad one.

Shiny follows Tails out of the house of family on Latias. They make a straight line for the House of Beasts. Wyld launches himself into the hole in the hull of the airship. he is immediately greeted by a large amount of fire from a significant number of wily bots. Fseftr straps dynamite onto the turrets, blowing one of them up. Jindra tosses a massive lance through another of the turrets, destroying it. Pillow rushes into the hole of the hull, and takes cover as the wily bots begin firing on him as well. Wedge responds to Ichigo; "Son of a... Making it out of there alive, let alone being the ones to start something like that... We might need to have a chat once this thing is all over." Ichigo gives jon Frostmourne and a jetpack, and explains a plan. Ichigo then launches off after the turrets, minicritting and blowing two of them up with proton torpedoes.

Jon rushes into the air, he slices one of the turrets in half, but is shot down. He spirals out of control, but manages to steer himself through the hole in the hull, crashing into the wily bots and destroying three of them. Jindra spray paints a turret. He gets blasted in the face, because spray-painting an automated turret from the outside isn't much more than graffiti. Pillow throws his knife, taking down a wily bot. Hyena attempts to open a portal on-board the airship, but there's some serious anti-warp capabilities in whatever shields they have up. Tabbune dodges between energy blasts while blowing up yet another one of the turrets. Ichigo continues flying around, but gets blasted away once again. The turrets have a pretty high rate of fire. Zbse adds a chain to his scythe. Tabbune summons a planeswalker. Zbse rushes off to the house of defense, but sees the cavalry coming in. 5 squadrons of X-wings and 3 squadrons of Y-wings. Either way, you're already almost to the house, it'll take three rounds at most unless you can take down the airship in time.

Shiny and Tails finally land just outside the House of Beasts. You wait here, I'll go get Knuckles. Tails rushes inside of the house. Shiny looks around. It seems there's a lot of agitated activity going on. This whole pantheon civil war thing has a lot of people riled up, no wonder nobody's done anything about the Godmodder. Wyld unleahes his black MIDI robot repellant. All of the wily bots firing on your position short out immediately. Troll flips out, and looks around to try and find some decepticons. He doesn't find any. Paradise jumps off of a spring, but before either of them can move on to breaking things that aren't already dead, Shadow grabs them both and pulls them back. Fseftr fires a flak cannon cannon at the airship. However, due to its weight, it completely fails to go anywhere and just crashes to the ground below with a disappointing thunk. And then it goes off down there and the whole thing explodes, leaving a large crater in the country-side. Still compeltely useless to what's going on right now. Paradise breaks free of sacred and rushes to the airship. He begins tearing up the electronics but is blasted backwards by electrical shocks. What era of tech? DC comics era.

End of Turn Battle

Suddenly a pair of hulking figures lumber down the hallway, two Lexcorp juggernauts have arrived. The situation is quickly remedied when Carmen Sandiego slides inside, then steals the ownership of the two drones, changing their allegiance to AG. Come on then boys. Nissa defaults to summoning a forest elemental, gaining one loyalty and one elemental. The Halberd blows up another three turrets and the R-902 deals another 40K damage to the airship.

And then Antilles' reinforcements arrive. eight squadrons of fighters and bombers fly in, laying siege to the airship. Suddenly, a field of energy flickers on. It seems their shield generators have been turned on now that stealth isn't an option. The airship's entire outer arsenal is now revealed. You'll probably get more support from the house of defense, and maybe even others if you can grab the attention of other gods who'd be interested in helping out.

And as you look at the full scope of the airship, you realize that you might just need all the help you can get. This thing is HUGE! Antilles chimes in again. "You know what, seeing that thing with my own eyes now... I think I'm gonna call in more squadrons right now."

How this is going to work: Whoo-whee! Second ever mega boss fight, and this one leaves poor Dimentio in the dust. Just take a look at the stats below and you'll see what I'm talking about. Reinforcements from the house of defense will continue coming in every round until you reach it, at which point the House of Defense itself will begin opening fire upon the airship. You'll want to take this sorry thing down as soon as possible though, because the more damage the house of defense takes before the airship finally goes down, the harder the ensuing fight with the godmodder the other four gods is going to be.

If you can bring in a god and justify it to me (in OOC) said god will probably join in the fight. Fair warning though, the more powerful the god, the better the justification has to be, and I'm going to try and avoid greater gods and overdeities getting involved in this particular fight, since there's a rather large pantheon civil war looming over the horizon that the higher ups in the pantheon are readying themselves for, and they are quite sure that an attack launched by a single greater god, and a handful of lessers, lead by a mortal, is not enough to bust into the vault.

Also, I'm going to limit the number of gods you can bring in, so choose wisely. The more likely they are to get involved in this fight, the better they'll do. This is when the fight with the godmodder becomes known to the pantheon at large.

jesus... looks like reinforcments are going to be hard to come by in here...

I quickly set up a Portal pad, any one that has freindly relations, or even slightly similar goals, can use the pad to teleport inside.

I quickly broadcast to the potential friendlies: there is an ENORMOUS BATTLE SHIP bearing down on the pantheon of defense, i have a pad set up so people can take it down from the inside, all you have to do is picture yourself being inside and that will be that, hurry up though! we dont want this thing destroying everything! Oh and in case this is relevant, its piloted by someone who calls himself the godmodder!

I sigh and stop broadcasting before askign the people around me where do you guys think we should go? we have a few options and could try taking down a shield generators form the inside, head straight for the engine room, find where the control room for the turrets are, or head up th the bridge where the godmodder and his crew will probably be at... what do you guys think? we could ALSO split up, but I'm not sure how well that will work.

i will now be searching the pantheon for potential responds to the call to battle

Holy crap, I think. This can't be possible. We are fighting a mechanical colossus pretty much. I am panicking a bit. I decide that help would be a good thing to have. I beam a message to try to get superman to join the fight. I start to advance and hopefully damage some of the shield generators. Or unplug it. That would work

I see I am at the Pantheon of Beasts. I know a few guys here. I have Latias deliver a telepathic call to some of the Pokemon Gods in this Pantheon. (Pikachu, Reuniclus, Greninja, and Volcarona). I ask them to meet me at the entrance. I want to talk to them about the war. Piono, if you think these are too many, feel free to drop a couple.

If I make it through the hole in the ship, then I catch up with the others and ask Wyld if he can lend me one of his artifacts. If I don't make it, then I hurl grenades at the turrets.

I see the house of defense in the distance and cast haste multiple times on myself so that way I try and arrive next turn. If I succeed in arriving, I immediatly make a beeline for the G La DOS temple. If I fail, I continue powering through the fray.

(Oh poop thats intense. I'm under IRL time constraints here, so i probably won't have time to comprehend thiss thing, much less FIGHT it for a while.)

I attack the other shield generator with moms knife. If you recall moms knife does 20000 damage which means both shield generators are down. Now that they're down everyone can make a move on the ship. I start running to regroup with the others if the shields are down. This ship is going down Oh and just because I want to I send a message to the house of weapons to try and get my patron god, Isaac, to join the fight.

Attack charge: 11/13 -Jindra, fseftr the lapiz guy, cotton Equipment is well charged, but i have good reason to wait untill next round to fire it.

Alright, this massive thing is gonna take forever to fully scrap, and who knows what the chaos crew running it is honna pull off in the meantime. SO, here is what I propose: We attemp to take over the bridge. We should focus our attacks on the front of the ship to disable defenses in that specific area. Then, we can blast a hole THROUGH the walls of the bridge, and storm inside it, knocking out the crew.

With the crew neutralized, one or two of us can focus on bringing the ship under our controll (or at least crashing it to get rid of it that way.). As security forces are likely to try hard to retake the bridge, some of us are going to have to be there to fight them off untill we manage to land/crash the ship.

I'm saving that attack i'm charging for breaching the bridge specificly, so for now let us damage the defenses the normal way.

Free action: I fire a guided missile with shrapnel warhead towards the front of the ship, detonating it to damage multiple targets. I'm testing their defenses here.

I nod and toss the dark sword to him. i'd prefer that i get it back at SOME point, but i know that probably isnt going to happen.

I summon a couple wisps and shades this round wisps are guides and can find locations/people quite easily, shades can spot invisible units. just in case.

all right um.... I look to carmen. where do YOU think we should go to take this thing down? find a control room for the turrets, or the engine room? I then either quickly send the wisps the way she suggests and have the shades stick to us, or send groups of both in both directions.

And then i hear a potential responder....

Master cheif and the ODST forces, ODST becuase as a complement to the 501st, hearing that they lost to this guy they'd probably want to prove that they are better. also their home base is about to be under assault. Master chief because He'd probably want to support the people from his universe, and Would probably understand that this is one of those things that ends up destabilizing junk. plus he is the chief, he loves this sort of stuff. Of course this was primarily for the ODST.

not enough posts yet, I think some people haven't had a chance. I'm gonna wait a few hours before I update, hopefully there'll be a few more posts by then. Don't worry, there will be an update. Just not quite yet. In case people are thinking that its time to bail, I assure you, it is not. We haven't even come close to the grand finale, I'm not going to Ass Pull a Diabolus ex Machina this early in the game. You have a fair chance of winning this fight, as it would throw me Off the Rails were you to lose (doesn't mean its not a possibility, but it means its less likely) and even if you did lose, it wouldn't be game over, it would just mean some of the later fights would be a bit more difficult.

This fight, being that it would be rather lopsided under normal circumstances, will place a few restraints on the OP scale. one-shot summons and attacks (as have already been discussed) will get some bonuses to account for just how freakin' huge this monstrosity is. Additionally, 3 rounds isn't the count-down to losing, but the count-down to reaching the house of defense.

So yeah, don't freak out just yet. Its not freak out time. Its clobberin' time.
