You decide to talk to Crystal and Erelye, two of the more odd people you’ve met so far. The fact they’re not clearly the oddest is concerning. You walk up to their corner. They greet you, and you greet them. You ask about joining the occult club.

Erelye says, “We are currently out on a particularly obscure endeavor of research to exploit the resources that we can observe in this reality. Aid us if you shall.”

You nod, and wonder once again if Erelye truly believes magic is real.

Crystal continues, “Choosing a club is a very important decision for your life at this school, and maybe even beyond it. It might even decide your fate, at least in matters of the heart.”

This again. You don’t know what to say here. Maybe you should tell him to stop flirting with you? If he even is flirting with you… You’ll worry about that later. You ask what the occult club actually does.

Erelye replies, “Observe.”

Crystal grins at Erelye’s response, “Research and rituals, mostly.”

You nod, then ask if the robes are mandatory.

Erelye answers, “We particularly enjoy prancing about in heavy robes like the fools we are to make people either question our sanity, so that we can crush them at a future point, or merely just keep them away.”

Crystal grins again, and shrugs.

You’ll have to think about it. You excuse yourself from the conversation. You should probably talk to all the clubs, really.

You can’t leave the room, Eric is monitoring the hallway. He’s suppressing your free will. You instead walk over to the far window and ask Blue and Build about joining the student council.

Build says, “Joining the student council is a great way to help out the school and meet new people!”

Blue continues, “You can help fight the forces of evil too…or at least the forces of those against us.”

You ask her what she means by that.

Build answers instead, “Oh, she’s just being hyperbolic. An old member of ours established a rival council …I don’t get how that works either. He's poached a few of our members though.”

Blue responds, “Maybe I’m being a bit overdramatic. Anyways, we organize school events and help out the other clubs at the school.”

You nod, then excuse yourself.

Lothyra almost yells at Cobalt, “How can you read that trash? It isn’t scientifically accurate!”

Cobalt argues back, “It’s a piece of fiction! Not everything has to be scientifically accurate!”

“How can you be the president of the science club when you don’t care about science!?”

“How can you be the vice-president of any club when you’re such a nerd!?”

Lothyra stands up in a rage, before finally noticing you.

“Oh… hey there. Are you interested in the science club?”

Uh… You don’t respond.

Cobalt continues, “We do experiments… and have healthy debates about science. You should join us if you like science.”

You nod, and quickly leave.

You decide to visit the hall monitors; Eric and Astria. As you approach, Astria gets Eric to look away from the hallway for a second. You ask them about their club.

“It’s not a club,” Eric states, “Hall monitoring is a way of life!”

Astria give you a knowing look, “We make sure the students here don’t stab each other… it’s happened before.”

Eric continues, “This school is full of some bad people. If you’re not one of them, you should join us.”

You nod, then ask about the name of their… not club.

Astria replies, “It might sound juvenile but-“

Eric cuts her off, “We are the only thing keeping this school from chaos!”

Right… You nod, and excuse yourself.

Last but not least, you decide to walk over to Modpack and Tazz. They motion for you to wait, and you notice they are both wearing earbuds. You peer over at their laptop. Seems like they’re watching one of the Pokémon movies. You wait for a few minutes before Modpack pauses the movie. He takes out his earbuds, and Tazz follows.

“Hey, I’m the president of the anime club. Our club’s about anime and anime related memes.”

Tazz continues, “Our club’s favourite anime is Pokémon!”

Modpack sighs softly, leans forward, and whispers to you, “Pokémon isn’t a real anime.”

Tazz doesn’t hear, or at least he doesn’t react to it. You nod to both of them, and excuse yourself.

Finally, you have talked to the leaders of all five clubs. Build walks up to you.

“You should choose your club now. Remember, you’re probably going to be stuck with them.”

He then drops his voice, “So you should join the student council.”

Some of the other club leaders clearly still heard him, as they begin to complain about the comment.

“Alright, alright,” Build says as he begins to walk back to the far window, “Take as long as you need to.”

Which club will you join?

((This is probably the most, or at least second most, important choice of the game. This choice doesn’t just put you into a club, it puts you into a route with two possible romance options, the leaders of that club. There may be ways to escape the route, but don’t count on it. Don’t vote for a club because you like the club, vote for a club because you want to romance one of its leaders. I will leave you all with at least a day for this decision.))
