You decide to ask Crystal about his comment about being datable. He grins again.

“Don’t worry about that,” he responds, “Maybe I’ll tell you if you say the right things though.”

You decide to drop this topic, at least for now… mainly because you don’t get it. Maybe he’s flirting with you? You ask about the robes instead

Crystal shrugs, “There’s a loose dress code. The administration has more to worry about than what the students wear.”

You nod, then proceed to ask about Erelye and his club.

“I’m actually Erelye’s co-leader. Of course, magic isn’t real here, but it’s all in good fun. Erelye… well, we’re all at this school for a reason.”

You hesitate, then ask if Erelye thinks magic is real.

“Who knows what he thinks?” Crystal grins again, “Speaking of Erelye, I should follow him. Maybe we’ll meet after school?”

Crystal gets up, and leaves the cafeteria as well. The bell hasn’t gone, so you should have time for one last conversation.

You decide to talk to Blue. You don’t want to bother those who are otherwise occupied, after all. Not entirely sure what to say, you ask about the after school club fair.

“Oh, yeah. Build was going to tell you about it, but screw him,” Blue says, “We only invited the clubs looking for members. I think there’s four or five? Including us. You can try to join other clubs, but-”

You interrupt her, asking about her use of ‘we’ and ‘us’.

“Oh, I guess I didn’t tell you that I’m vice-president of the student council…. We’re always looking for new members. You should join if you’re interested. We’re one of the only clubs that actually gets anything done.”

You nod, then ask about the other clubs at the fair.

“There’s the occult club, led by those two. I think the hall monitors are recruiting? You’ve met their leaders. Talk to Eric here… if you really want to anyways. Uh… Lothyra here leads the science club with some guy in the other class,” Blue pauses for about half a minute, “The anime club! It’s let by two students in your class...I think that’s it.”

The bell rings, ending the conversation. Those left in the cafeteria begin to head back to their classrooms. You actually arrive in class quite early. The only other people here are the three others who invited you to sit with them earlier. The test tube guy and the pair who were sitting next to each other.

You introduce yourself to them, and they reciprocate. The student who was holding a test tube introduces himself as Cobalt. The student with the Pikachu ears introduces himself as Tazz. The student wearing the doge t-shirt introduces himself as Modpack. You barely react to the names.

Who will you make conversation with?

“Don’t judge me!” he says, surprisingly serious.

Well then. You apologize, then ask Tazz about himself.

“As you can see, I like Pokémon a lot. That’s why I’m vice president of the school’s anime club! Yes, Pokémon is a real anime!”

Okay… Luckily, this conversation is cut short by the teacher coming through the door. The class quickly makes their way to their seats. You sit down beside Build.

“So, I heard Blue told you about the club fair,” he states.

You nod, even though you’re pretty sure that wasn’t a question.

“Well I hope you’ll consider joining the student council,” he says, “We can always use more help, and it’s a great way to get to know the students here!”

Build quiets down as the lesson begins.

About twenty minutes before the end of the school day, Cobalt, Tazz, Astria, and Modpack excuse themselves from the room.

The final bell rings. Dingdingdingding. Build motions for you to follow him, and you do so. He leads you downstairs, and to an unused classroom.

“Don’t feel any pressure,” he says, “But you should really join the student council.”

He opens the door, and you both enter. There are nine other students in the room, basically everyone you’ve met so far. Stand next to you, staring into the hallway, is Eric. Astria sits in a chair next to him. Near the back of the room, Cobalt and Lothyra appear to be arguing about something. Modpack and Tazz sit at a desk, watching a laptop. Blue leans on the far window, hugging some sort of folder with one arm, and hands Build some papers with the other. Lastly, Crystal and Erelye stand in a corner, seemingly discussing something.

…none of them move to greet you, or in fact stop what they were doing before. You should probably make the first move here.
