So, this is going to be the central repository for me uploading rewritten versions of my old DTG posts that will contain the revised roleplay and backstory for my characters. Ever since I embarked on a quest to give oldcanon a proper conclusion, I also realized just how flawed my old RP was. I began to revise it, but at some point, I realized that I had made so many revisions that, for readers uninformed of them, the leap from my old canon to my new canon would be very confusing. Therefore, I realized that I needed to find a way for archival readers of DTG2 to get up to speed on my revised RP. When I was still playing DTG, I edited my old posts, but such actions only made it difficult for archival readers to understand what was going on. To avoid such confusion, I will be going about this revision in two ways:

1. Remove the previous edits from my old posts and restore them to their original versions, for posterity's sake.
2. Insert links at the beginning of my old posts to their rewritten versions, hosted here.

With that out of the way, let us begin.

He takes out a textbook: A guide to combining the arcane, divine, and technological, with the words "PROPERTY OF HAYO CONGLOMERATE, LLD."

As he studies the textbook, the man occasionally glances over his shoulder, looking for any pursuers. After all, he wouldn't want that elf... What was her name, again? Lothyra? Well, he wouldn't want her to catch up to him. He didn't understand why she was so enraged with him taking some old relics that possessed absolutely no relevance to the modern world, but she was enraged nonetheless, and now he was fleeing for his life.

The heist had required some creativity from his part. Most would expect a heavily guarded section of a corporate vault to be infiltrated by a master of stealth. Anticipating that, the designers of the Vault's security placed numerous sensors and anti-stealth countermeasures that could thwart every kind of stealth under the sun - magical or technological invisibility cloaks, illusions, hacking attempts, and even travel through higher spatial dimensions. It was thought to be thief-proof. Of course, this thief operated on such as different wavelength as normal people that he did not give one rat's ass about stealth, and nobody predicted that he would crash into the vault using a flying Lightning Rail powered by pure Hype, then simply swipe the relics and leave while the guards were stunned at the sheer audacity of the act. Heh. He really did a number on that headquarters.

cerbalGuy, thinking of how to attack, comes to a realization: Chuck Norris was summoned multiple times and always countered with the ACNT, but nobody ever thought of summoning his fellow memetic badass, The Most Interesting Man in the World. He quickly summons TMIMITW, who subsequently damages Rage by making two wrongs equal a right!

Suddenly, cerbalGuy is accosted by a swarm of drones that come over the horizon! They are followed by a mysterious figure in a suit of dark grey power armor, with tiny winglets sticking out of the side of its backpack.

???: Well, well, well. You can run, but you can't hide!
cerbalGuy: Oh, it's you, huh? Wow, you really look hot today!
???: ...
???: ...What did you just say?
cerbalGuy: You know, you look really sexy when you're angry.
???: GET HIM!

The drones suddenly charge straight towards cerbalGuy! He quickly packs up his stuff and begins running away, with the figure and drones in hot pursuit. It looks to be the last you'll see of them for a while...

At long last, the figure in power armor that was last seen chasing an obnoxious artifact thief has returned to the Battlefield. She surveys the Battlefield, noticing all of the carnage inflicted by armies on all sides of this war. Soon, the figure would add carnage of her own into the mix. It was necessary. It was the Dark Carnival's rampage that had destroyed everything she had worked her entire adult life to build up, but they unfortunately had disappeared before she could exact any vengeance. Now, her sights are turned to the interloper whose war had invited them: The Godmodder. He had taken away her future, and now she would end his.

This, of course, cannot not be accomplished without help. Another figure joins her. This one appears to be a Minecraft avatar, a representation of a retro tin-can robot that looks awfully familiar to some... The figure turns to the robot.

"There's a device that the Anti-Godmodders are using. It's called the Alchemiter. It'll let us craft powerful weaponry and tools that we can use to defeat the Godmodder. Once you get there, I'll radio instructions."
"Hey, you promised me the chance for payback! Do I look like a robo-butler to you?!"
"Aren't you a manufacturing robot?"
"Well, I happen to take pride in my fine handicrafts! If you think that'd I'd be content with walking up to a machine, pushing some buttons, and calling that 'crafting'-"
"Fine. But there's a little thing called the 'OP Scale' that will make your job far more difficult. If you want to see all the shiniest guns in your arsenal be nothing more than fancy toothpicks, go ahead and fight. But if you want weapons actually worth something, swallow your pride, go up to the machine and PUSH THE DAMN BUTTONS!"
"Aww, fine! But just so we're clear, I'm only pushing those buttons because I want to, not because you told me to. Got it?"
"Whatever floats your metal boat. Now, get on moving. If this works, we might just turn you into a alchemizing masterpiece."
Bender: "Alchemizing masterpiece, huh? I like the sound of that. Lead the way, meatbag!"

The robot avatar scampers off to the Forge, waiting to receive instructions from the figure. The figure then turns back to the Battlefield. She radios orders through her neural link that connects to her suit. Immediately, the remains of her forces go into action. Suddenly, the roar of jet engines is heard over the horizon. Multiple aircraft, some as large as a jumbo jet, fly over the Battlefield, their missile delivery systems primed. They are followed by an army of wheeled drones resembling SHIVs from XCOM, each armed with a powerful pulse laser. Accompanying them are numerous soldiers in bulky powered armor, each equipped with the pulse laser equivalent of a light machine gun. Racing behind them are multiple tanks that hover off the ground through jet propulsion, lending them unexpected mobility and dexterity. Each is armed with a devastating pulse laser gun that can penetrate through a meter of solid steel. The private army of HAYO Conglomerate, LLD., has arrived. Some of the players recognize it as a major supplier of advanced technology in modded Minecraft servers, used for both civilian and military purposes. Some, from both sides, may have even made purchases from it for the purpose of supplying their war efforts. As the army closes in on the Godmodder's forces, the air is filled with transient white beams of energy, the byproduct of a laser blast. These are not the slow-moving projectiles of most science fiction, but instead drill and blast their way through their targets with the power of a bullet, or more. The bombers then unload their missile payloads, each missile containing a tiny amount of concentrated dark matter which undergoes self-annihilation upon impact. As the assault continues, multiple projectiles suddenly rain from the sky. Technologically savvy players recognize them as rounds from a mass accelerator, and instinctively look above. In orbit around the Battlefield are multiple combat-capable spacecraft armed with mass drivers and antimatter missiles. They are defending a large particle beam cannon whose beams inflict not just kinetic impact damage, but also radiation poisoning on those unfortunate enough to be near the beam.

The entire HAYO Army attacks Serpent's army.

The robot receives instructions in the Forge.

Okay, I think I'm going to have to explain to you why I this Alchemiter is so useful."
"From my understanding, it will let us create not just plasma weaponry that has eluded our scientists for years, but even harness the power of antimatter in man-portable equipment."
"Pff, plasma weapons? Where I come from, they're a dime a dozen!"
"Yes, but actually transporting plasma weapons from your universe to Minecraftia will be difficult. Plus, from my research, weapons made from the Alchemiter will vastly outclass those merely brought over from another universe or summoned using Descendancy."
"Finally, it seems that the weapons produced by the Alchemiter can be safely used without worrying about being caught in their effects."
"So you're saying that we can wield sidearms of mass destruction without getting hurt? I guess the Alchemiter isn't so stupid after all!"
"I knew you'd come around to it, eventually."
"Okay, so the first step to creating plasma weaponry is to alchemize a portable tokomak fusion reactor. I've sent over the instructions now. I've already put some necessary components into your inventory."
"Hey, wait a second! How do you know so much about how this Alchemiter works, anyway?"
"It's... a long story. I don't want to talk about it."
"Oh, getting all mysterious with your backstory, are you?"
"Just focus on your job. I'll contact you again later."

The robot receives the instructions. He first alchemizes (Redstone Dust & Iron Ingot) || Gold Foil = Electomagnet Wire. He also takes a Plasma Heater (alchemy component) out of his inventory.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a SHARKBRONYSUPERMAN64TUBANADO appears on the Battlefield, and flies right towards the Godmodder! From far away, an obnoxious thief snickers at his "hilarious attack." He hopes that maybe it will also hit the HAYO Army as well, as revenge for its leader reclaiming the artifacts that he stole.

Goldstone Ingot: 2/4

The black figure sees the Armybuster Mechs arrive.

"Well, crap."

She orders the HAYO Battalion to concentrate all their attacks against the C-Mech, as its abilities look to be the most harmful to her army. At the same time, she experiments with her newly-acquired Descendant powers... She thinks about whatever is at the bottom of SCP-087. Suddenly, the C-Mech is exposed directly to it! The horror! The extremely vague and mysterious horror!

The robot continues to alchemize the Goldstone Ingot. He then readies his next essential alchemy component... an Empty Canister! Wait, it's empty... He contacts the figure.

"Hey! I thought this was supposed to be filled already!"
"What?"
"The canister you gave me! You said you put Helium-3 in it, but it's empty!"
"It's... empty? Crap. I guess I was so busy sorting out the supplies for the HAYO Battalion that I accidentally sent that Helium-3 over to them instead of to you."
"Okay, I should be able to launch a supply pod from the Orbital Nexus that will contain a filled Helium-3 canister. You'll have to wait a bit."
"This is why I usually work alone or with a tight-nit group of associates! So I don't have to deal with crap like this!"
"Look, stop whining and try to work with the alchemies on the list that don't require the Helium-3 canister. There's enough that you probably won't be done with them by the time the canister arrives."
"Eh, fine. I'll just power through the boring stuff and look forward to the cool alchemies."

The figure establishes a comm link with a large space station hundreds of kilometers above the Battlefield.

"Okay, Dis, I'm going to need a Helium-3 Canister dropped on our location."

The robot waits impatiently. To pass the time, he decides to do a tap dance on the Alchemiter. Then, having become bored of that, he raises his act up a notch by setting his feet on fire and doing another tap dance. The others in the Forge stare at him with a mixture of fascination and annoyance. His act being over, he then retrieves some Cheap Wires and a Hollow Iron Torus in preparation for his future alchemies. He previews (Hollow Iron Torus && Carbon Nanogel).

Cheap Wires (Lv. 1 Alchemy Component): Bog-standard copper wires used to transmit electricity in domestic situations, such as within the wiring of a house.

Hollow Iron Torus (Lv. 1 Alchemy Component): Yep.

Plasma Heater (Lv. 1 Alchemy Component): A small cylinder that uses radio waves and an induction coil to superheat air to thousands of degrees Kelvin, forming plasma. Requires megawatts of energy to operate.

Helium-3 Supply Drop: 3/10

The robot examines the Goldstone Ingot. He then looks at the next part of his partner's instructions - he would have to alchemize wires made out of Goldstone. Since he isn't sure which instruction would get the proper product, he previews Goldstone Ingot && Cheap Wires and Goldstone Ingot || Cheap Wires. Finally, he begins to alchemize Carbon Nanogel && Hollow Iron Torus. Man, these instructions were sure specific...

At the same time, the central computer within the Orbital Nexus scavenges for any spare Helium-3 that was left untouched by the war effort. It's frustrating work, as the vast majority of the Helium-3 is currently being used inside the antimatter-catalyzed fusion reactors that power his boss's army. Still, he's able to make some progress. He's already gotten half of the Helium-3 that he needs.

He promptly pulls out a very classy and old-fashioned cigar, and takes a puff out of it. The players at the Forge detect that his coolness level has increased by 100%. After that, he begins to alchemize Goldstone Ingot && Cheap Wires and previews Magnet && Goldstone Wires.

The robot retrieves the completed Hollow Iron Nanotorus and decides to play a game of catch with it to pass the time. Somehow he ends up punting it straight into the floor of the Forge, with the Nanotorus no worse for the wear, thanks to its nanogel construction. At the same time, the Commander is directing the last stand of the HAYO Battalion against the C-Mech. She grimaces at the devastation wrought by the attacks of the Armybuster Mechs. All of her effort, and her army goes down in only a few turns. Looks like the Alchemiter and her Descendant powers are her only hope to get her revenge against the Godmodder...

At the same time, the central computer has finally scavenged enough Helium-3 to launch a resupply drop. It fills a canister with it, then begins transporting it to a docking bay...

The robot FINALLY notices that his alchemy is complete! He previews Goldstone Wires || Magnet, then begins practicing breathing fire through his mouth. Many of the other players are really starting to get fed up with him... At the same time, the Commander redirects switches the HAYO Battalion's target to the MC-Mech.

The drop pod is launched from the cargo bay. Once it has gained sufficient distance from the station, it fires its retro rockets, causing its periapsis to dip below that of the atmosphere. In time, the fires of reentry begin to encompass it...

The robot, still being bored, decides to juggle his inventory. However, he accidentally pulls out a magnet as part of his juggling act, and the magnet ends up sticking to his head. The robot begins to glitch out and spontaneously breaks out into song.

"Do your balls hang low?"
"Do you dangle them to and fro?"
"Can you tie them in a knot?"
"Can you tie them in a bowl?..."

The rest of the people in the Forge cover their ears. Meanwhile, a certain obnoxious thief sings into Pesterchum with the chumhandle "cerbalGuy." At the same time, the Helium-3 Supply Pod streaks through the atmosphere, the fires of reentry having dissipated...

Helium-3 Supply Drop: 9/10

The Commander views the shattered remains of her once proud army. She spent an entire Act building her forces up... only to see them destroyed within a few days. Once again, she had lost everything in the name of protecting or avenging her employees. She mutes her suit's speakers.

"Damn it! Damn all of it! What the hell do I have to do to win this war?! Are you going to take my crew away from me again, Richard?! You SON OF A BITCH!"

She smolders in her suit for a few minutes before calming down and chuckling to herself.

"Heh. Looks like there's only one option left to us. It's obvious that an army can't win this war. Only individuals can. These Descendants... that I count myself a member of. If they're the ones that this goddess-dammed Narrative has appointed to win this war, I'll have to fight like them. I'll show Richard. I thought I'd never touch the Alchemiter again... but now, he leaves me no choice. I'll use it to make weapons so powerful that they'll be able to mow through his mooks like a knife cuts through butter, damn the collateral damage! Damn all of it! You will not best me again!"

She then checks up on the robot.

"Okay, give me a status update on the alchemies, ASAP."
"Do you get them in a tangle?"
"Do you catch them in a mangle?"
"..."
"Do they swing in stormy weather?"
"Do they tickle with a feather?"
"...What the hell?! This again?!"

The Commander activates her suit's flight mode. The winglets sticking out of the sides of her suit's backpack unfold into proper wings, and two miniature jet engines extend out from the backpack. The engines spool up, and she takes off towards the Forge. Looks like she's going to have to check up on progress herself. Meanwhile, the Supply Drop Pod has deployed its parachutes. It is now slowly descending over the Forge, about to land...
